This is well said. I couldn't agree with you more! It's honestly more than just about it being simply black and white, or who is better than the other. It's way beyond that concept of thinking.

As much as one can empathize and sympathize with each of the demon's backstories, some of them had a choice or so-called free will in choosing not to kill, but because of how driven they are of their desires or dreams they obviously turned it into obsession. Even the demon hunting team did feel for these demons but they didn't let their judgement be clouded by their sad stories as they knew too, how ruthless these demons were. Some humans are the same, like the masked man's obsession with the ever-burning wood, he became ruthless.

So the point is, not all demons are purely kind and not all humans are purely kind. Which is why I agree with Wen Xiao's answer towards Li Lun's game of questions. Each of them have their own set of evilness. You're right, it really does require more nuances than just that.

The storyline of FOF really highlights a meaningful message about desires, how there is a very thin silver lining between wants and obsession, it is so easy to cross that line only to realize it leads to a dead end.

I have so much praise for Chen Duling, her ability to portray evil/demon roles sets the bar high for me, she is just so strong in that type of character and her aura is so different. At the same time, I find her acting as Wen Xiao wonderful too! She is such a talented actress and she definitely deserves more recognition! ❤️

It could actually have turned out for the worst. His discovery with Li Lun about that secret base and how the ever-burning wood got inside of him seems to be predestined for him. He is saving everyone at this point by containing that ever-burning wood inside his body but at the same time, he has to suffer because of it. It's heart breaking, his story is so tragic 💔

The truth eye is with Li Lun. Zhu Yan gave it to Li Lun in the past, which is why whenever Li Lun possessed someone and shows up in front of any of the demon hunting team, their eyes 'shine' as a sign of Li Lun using the truth eyes so they can see his real appearance in the body he possessed.

I don't actually regard him as a villain despite how he colluded with Chongwu Camp and acted as their spy. It seems that they have something against him and he is only doing it out of his will, it's either they have his mother held captive or has a medicine that could cure his mother's sickness. I feel he will definitely have a change of heart in future episodes.

I agree with your comment so much. She definitely contributes to the group in her own way and is totally the heart of it that brought them all together. I always thought of her as a clever character who can also be cunning at times even if she is weaker.

Zhao Yuan Zhou's way of executing his powers will always be so captivating. The way those single words escaped out of his mouth with his low voice screams absolute dominance. Specifically loved the scene when he walked out and stood infront of Pei Si Jing then as he said the word "dream", the hiphop bgm started to play. It was so badass and iconic.

am hoping for it too! badass Wen Xiao is a need, she'll definitely win over that prime minister...for real! afterall humans become invincible in the name of love 😂

I also think it could be Wen Xiao since she said she was going to meet the prime minister or it could be the demon who impersonated her earlier.

One of the things that keeps me so hooked in this show is definitely how clever the characters from the demon-hunting team are (including Bai Jiu)✨
