I agree with everything you said. It's actually worst on Weibo, fans of the popular ship are flooding her comment section asking her to apologize and some rudely calling her names. It's getting too much, some people are just toxic and plain hating on her. Leyan has always had a strong attitude, she is a very straight forward person. I also do not agree with her actions and thought she could have done it differently, but that's just how humans are, we all are different and we surely act differently. Right, she asked Qingya that, means she is just clarifying things not trying to fight Qingya...and people who watched or haven't watched are hating on her so badly. Qingya even responded to Leyan well. Like they both were just having a normal girl conversation which I think is also good so misunderstandings that either one of them might have would be cleared. Leyan and Qingya's latest interactions has been good too. So, I don't get the unnecessary hate towards Leyan like she did something so malicious lol. She didn't need to apologize. No human is perfect. The one who needs to apologize is the director for cutting/editing that scene for the sake of creating a drama.

It's funny how toxic some shippers/watchers are getting here and on other social media platforms. People need to chill it's just a dating show. Yeah, you can dislike some of the cast as they may not be your cup of tea but I think there is no need to get to the point of badmouthing them and being disrespectful. You can express your dislikes without actually having to actually label them negatively. Like, this is just a show. Let's be for real all dating shows are heavily edited, ofc some parts may be intentionally created and directed by the director themself to create drama or impactful scenes. What we see are merely just the tip of the iceberg. The casts know each other better as they've interacted in real life whereas we are just mere viewers who are given a third pov by these show editors & directors. I seriously cannot understand the need to badmouth a cast when in reality you don't even know them lol

Ratings are subjective. Although there might be people who have disliked FOF, there are definitely a lot more who loved this drama as people all have diff taste. Besides, this current rating isn't final one since not all eps are out yet. We will see how it'll be once it finishes airing. IMO, I am loving this drama despite having watched only earlier eps not half-way through. I don't mind the comedic aspect instilled in the scenes too as I find them hilarious and rather entertaining making it enjoyable to watch knowing the story is quite slow-paced. So it does maintain a good balance rather than having it all serious all-throughout. I do think the comedic aspect will be toned down once we reach half-way episodes. It's very interesting for me so I will keep watching.
