However, what causes a stir or arguements are comments that clearly targets the audience who enjoyed the drama by their comments that generalizes and have degrading remarks on them. You can share your opinion without having to disrespect others just because they like something you didn't.

Yeah, not just Koreans it kind of is like an asian family thing. I come from an asian family myself and did experience such events in the past. It's like part of our culture. Asian parents would beat their children (not to the extent that leads to abuse) as a form of punishment to discipline their child and correct their wrong behaviors. Asian parents still does this even if their child is a grown adult. I hope you get my explanation.

just because you couldn't fathom why people enjoyed this drama better than you did, doesn't mean their standards are low. you have to understand people have different preferences and not every drama made out there is created to cater 'your personal preferences alone' or 'your so-called kdrama standard'. if you dislike the drama so much, rate it, drop it and move on, no need to push your own personal standard and degrade others just because they differ from what you want.

I agree! that's why Leyan is cautious and I also think she has been hurt deeply in the past too.
