The drama is fine but lets be honest. The only reason the drama gets away with showing the one doing the domestic abuse in a sympathetic way is because it's a woman beating a man. If the roles had been reversed between the mother and father - people would have been mad as hell.
I mean a male lead falling in love with a twin of his dead wife makes perfect sense though considering the fact…
I mean you are mixing two different things together. Yes the entire heart stuff is not science and is just for the story. You can hate or like story elements like that - your choice. I mean a lot of "unrealistic" stuff happens in pretty much each and every single drama. The falling for twin sister of dead wife is 100% possible in real life. The truth is one of the main reasons people fall in love is due to looks. Yes personality matters also but if she's a decent person then falling in love with a twin like that seems pretty damn likely.
Yeah this drama is just painful to finish. I def. didn't like it but still managed to finish the drama. There are simply too many unlikeable characters and very few likeable. The only likeable character was Satomi even with her flaws. But her flaws were more acceptable (to me) than the rest of the characters. Rika was a walking double standard and was emotionally manipulative towards Nagao. She was pretty much selfish the entire drama with the only exception being the end. Nagao got played big time but he was at fault for that himself. He knew pretty early on about Rika and her character but still went along. Mikami was obviously the worst but he at least didn't act high and mighty about love the way Rika was doing. The writing was also not the best in some places. The entire premise that Naoko needed to take control of her life was fine but then why do we need the cliche wedding crashing scene by Mikami. Just have Naoko reject the marriage by her own decision. Satomi should not have ended up with Nagao because frankly then he didn't deserve a happy ending with her after he went to Rika. The ending to Rika was fine because she didn't deserve to end up with anyone either but I would have prefered Nagao to leave Rika himself so that him ending with Satomi would be fine. Mikami ending up with Naoko made sense.
You can say a lot about Rika but from what I've seen then she's anything but innocent..
The girl is bubbly but she is def. not innocent. The girl fell in love with a married man and is sleeping with him the day she's cutting ties with him after he's left his wife. She tells the ML - not knowing him for that long - that they should kiss followed by asking to have sex which is perfectly fine but she's not an innocent girl. Her entire idea about love - that you should be able to be with other people as long as you are giving everything when together is def. not an "innocent" idea about love.
He treats her like a servant, confronts her cruelly about her self-doubt, and somehow we're meant to see this…
You do know that a woman wrote the story right? And it's based on a josei manga which are mangas targeted female audience.... Your comment make it seem like you think the story is made by a man for men - it's the opposite.
This was a very good movie, just like the other Hur Jin Ho movies I've seen. But it was very painful to watch.…
The ML was not a bad person but just very weak. Eun Hee was perfect and even though ML fell back into old habits then I still think the movie made it clear Eun Hee didn't regret meeting and being with ML. That's why she still wanted to die by his side at the end. He might have given her huge amount of pain but he also gave her huge amount of happiness. In the end the love the ML had for Eun Hee made him go back into "House of Hope" and make her wish come true.
So what happened did the teacher and the girl end up together >.
I don't think the end was very predictable. The girl killed herself by letting herself fall from a rooftop. The ML tried to save her. His wife ignored them and let the girl fall. The ML is seen miserable (crying) at the end even though he's with his wife and has a child.
Why? I guess you mean in episode 10...What was he supposed to do? If he didn't bring in the BW then the princess…
If we assume they wouldn't have found (I think they would but lets just assume) out she was a the princess then she was still done for. You think a poor woman would have been let go after "insulting" the royal family? The king was mad - she was done for whether or not they found out she was the princess.
That's what I was thinking when I watched episode 10. She is really strong FL. She is not agressive but active,…
The chance of getting caught stealing is far less than the chance of getting caught drawing those books. Once the books became popular and reached the king they were 100% done for. Authorities didn't give a shit about the other stuff because the other stuff did not become openly popular. The other stuff did not reach the king... The king specifically told the "police" guy to fix this matter with those books. Also you don't need any advance police force to track back the original place of the books. The books were being sold openly. Also it's not true women could not do anything else. In the earlier episodes she earned money by doing dishes.

They would have been found out right away. When the books are all drawn from the exact same place then the trace will always and very easily leave back to that place. They would have been caught right away. Whether anyone could have expected a "dead" princess drawing these books or not is irrelevant because someone had to take the blame. There is no way in hell they were getting out of this without someone taking the fall once the matter had reached the king. Just because she felt compelled to do something doesn't mean that what she did wasn't idiotic. Heck BW going out to steal from rich people would have been way more safe that what they decided to do. They could easily have survived without drawing and selling those "banned" romance books.

They did not need money to survive. They needed to draw those books because the friend messed up. Also the king was made aware of the books and was mad and told the one in charge ("police") to find all the books and destroy them and that also includes finding the guilty people. The BIL found out and took on the task instead so he could spare the princess (when he realized the person drawing those books was her). If the other guy had followed the leads then the princess would have been caught. The common people might not have known the person drawing was the princess but that's pointless. Once the police caught her they would eventually have found out. In the end someone needed to take the blame. This could also have been Lady Jo or the friend but the matter of fact is that this problem wouldn't have been avoided.
Why? I guess you mean in episode 10... What was he supposed to do? If he didn't bring in the BW then the princess would have been found and taken. He had to do this because they messed up by drawing those books.
I agree it's not a wise decision to draw but man! it was so satisfying to see the princess do something that she's…
The guy got taken away because they let him take the blame - that means it wasn't just illegal for women. The drawing of such books was not allowed at all - both for men and women.
That's what I was thinking when I watched episode 10. She is really strong FL. She is not agressive but active,…
I actually disagree with this in episode 10. The FL was an idiot. I mean she's supposed to be dead so the last thing she should do is work that will be controversial and can be traced back to her. As soon as they started making all those books then I knew they were getting fucked.
Are these guys just brain-dead (especially the princess and the court lady) or what? They are obviously going to survive because it's a drama but in real life if you are trying to keep low and keep yourself out of trouble the last thing you should do is do something potentially illegal that can be traced back to you... What idiocy is this.
