I'm on episode 7 and cannot make myself continue watching. Arthit is a bully! He keeps cornering Dao in positions he cannot free himself of. His NOs fall on deaf ears while Arthit thinks he's being cute. Not in the least! He's being creepy! I loved the first half of the story: the ghosts and their developing relationship. But the second half is like another story altogether, completely disconnected from the first half. It is jarring and is making me extremely uncomfortable. I am disappointed because it looked like another promising cute BL....ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Merde!🤣🤣You should have put this under the spoiler! I am still watching it and now you've ruined the ending…
It is a very good painting of what the Korean society was like in those days, the corruption, the police violence, the prejudices, the societal hierarchy...I have already seen that in many different K dramas. The one thing that makes this one stand out is that it was based on real events.
I was looking more for a thriller, a chase for the killer and of course, the final surprising reveal. I hoped to get it here what with the film Memories of Murder leaving us with an open ending which was frustrating!
I may pick this one again if I am in the mood for a slice of life drama.....This drama is really well made but not for me at this moment!

True, I started suspecting them immediately alongside the prosecutor, but I could not believe they'd be so obvious. The production are making such an effort to hide the prisoner's face in the present day scenes that I thought there'd be more twists! Thank you for saving me from wasting any more of my time on this.....🥰
Reading about the true story is so frustrating and sad, thinking about all the suffering of the women and children,…
Merde!🤣🤣 You should have put this under the spoiler! I am still watching it and now you've ruined the ending for me, if I am not mistaken! Thanks!😅
I would like to watch this but can you please tell me more about the cliffhanger and the ending since there seems to be a lot of chatter about the 2nd season being scrapped....I am not in the mood for unfinished stories today! Thank you!
yeah it's the same case but memories of murder was before the culprit got arrested and this one is after he was…
Thanks! I remember being frustrated with the ending of Memories of Murder. The film was extraordinary, suspenseful, well acted and produced but the ending was sad because the murderer had not been found at the time!
The story is engaging in the drama. The characters are based upon real people. At the same time, in a very many Korean police dramas of this kind, there is always the same cast of characters, those I mentioned in my OP. It is the question of art imitating life? Were Korean policemen and prosecutors always been like this (idealistic, rough, insubordinate or corrupt) in real life or is it just the fiction?
Embarrassing? Why? What research am I supposed to do? Why should I do any research before watching any type of entertainment?
EDIT/ My bad: I just realized you are a Korean netizen. My apologies! I come from Europe and of course I need to be educated. What are the things I should learn about?
I am 1/3 through and with main characters being all teeny and maudlin, and Dennis dancing...all I can think of is "how do they manage to film these scenes facing the mirror? We never get a glimpse of the crew in spite of the camera doing circles around him dancing..." I should be thinking of character's turmoil instead of techincal issues!🤣🤣🤣
On the other hand, the music is awful and depressing, seems more like noisy, there is no melody but the concept is interesting: they put the poems they pupils discuss in school to music!
Nice film, lovely poetry and great teen characters who think they are inconspicuous!🤣
I just watched the first episode and it seemed very familiar. And then I discover I have already watched Memories of Murder dealing with the same case apparently. So far the series is full of tropes: a young rogue police detective, corrupt prosecutors, inept and violent policeman, a genius painter girl at the right place at the right time etc.etc. I almost fell asleep halfway through....
If youre willing to grind, I think you can save up enough tokens in a week or two. Problem is you'd be renting…
Thanks for the tip but I feel that these vertical series are not worth the grind! People used to upload them on dailymotion or bilibili but shoretime got to them. I am really impressed by their reactivity to pirating. Not enough though, to waste my time on the grind for a couple of weeks! Even less to pay the overpriced subscription to watch! Hard pass!
I love these short web dramas in a shared universe. Unfortunately in this one, the main couple have zero chemistry and the way the younger man pursues his teacher is cringy. Quick and nice watch. Still, I am looking forward to the next part of this universe....

That is why I found the first episode boring: the originality is missing. On the other hand should I expect originality if it is based on real events.....I'll probably end up watching it all because it is an amazingly compelling story. It is the clichéd characters I find boring....
