You lasted longer than I did: I watched only the first episode and could not see the appeal! The drama was recommended to me as a cute romcom. I found nothing cute about it: the stalking obsession is not cute. And then I dared ask why she went to nursing school instead of med school in the comments and I was trashed. The whole hell broke loose.....

I discovered the english translation of the book this is based upon on amazon. There are six volumes, about 400 pages each. Really really long....Why? How long is the original book?

Really? I am not watching that one but I saw a huge number of posts on feeds praising it and fawning over the little boy and how cute the main couple was until about a couple of weeks ago when all hell broke loose because of a plot development which apparently came out of nowhere!
It was fascinating to watch how people dealt with disappointment....

Sorry to rain on your parade guys, but...
When was the last time a K drama stayed consistently good from the first to the last episode? This first episode hype "the best drama ever" has been heard so many times before only to be met with disappointment 5 or 10 episodes later ("Our Universe"? Anyone?) when the plot veers off course into nonsense territory!
We'll see in a few weeks if they manage to keep it up! I hope so, it would be a nice change....

I understand you well! That happens to me sometimes too. I drop a drama just to pick it months later up when my mood is different and finally enjoy it! So maybe one day.....

The ending as I understand it: when J made a wish on his 31st birthday he got to go back and redo the past and in doing so, save Jinn and his mother. The dreams he was having were actually his memories of his original life telling him what needed to be fixed!
