FL and ML decide to be friends while she's a man, but as they spend time together they get closer (although there are lots of roadblocks to limit that time together lol). in the finale ML says he accepts FL whether she remains a man or returns back to her original form. FL returns to being a woman but the final scene implies that she and the ML are prepared for the possibility of her turning into a man again and are both comfortable with it.

the abuse apologia with CP had me tasting bile. from the way zi'ang's hair is styled in that scene, I guarantee that moment is after the time jump. if you look at the summary above, zi'ang has to flee after doing something to protect shuhe and they are apart for years. my bet for the action that causes him to flee is that zi'ang kills the crown prince to save shuhe's life.

I am utterly confused at which point of the timeline they became lovers, I would say it has to be before this.
predictions obviously since the ep still isn't up yet, but given the bts vids for ep 5 shows them kissing, obviously at least one kiss is happening in ep 5. but my current prediction is that Zi'ang kills the Crown Prince to protect Shuhe and then after he does, he confesses his feelings to Shuhe and they kiss and then he flees. so if my prediction is correct they weren't properly together before he leaves.
given episode 5 of 12 is dropping in ~30 mins and the summary says "To protect Shu He, Zi'ang makes a choice that changes both their lives forever. The very move fractures their bond and drives him to vanish," the separation period has to be coming soon so manifesting that Zi'ang kills the Crown Prince in one of today's episodes 😌😌

not a BL but it does feel like it was censored from being more overtly queer. jieun does return to being a woman at the end but the final scene shows her packing luggage where she packs items for both jieun and "jihun" in case she switches again and both her and yunjae are comfortable with the possibility.
