I’ve no doubt 30 yo virgins come in all shapes and sizes. I doubt the vast majority of them look like New - my opinion. And I doubt even further that they live with a lover like Karan and remain celibate – even for a short period of time.

2 episodes in – this is a wonderful, heartwarming story about the gritty determination of a kid that literally fights his way out of a living hell - while protecting and nurturing two fortunate souls along the way. Wei Qian is heroic and I dearly hope he has a happy ending.

I would have found this part of the drama to be more realistic if they cast an actor that was believable as a 30 yr old insecure virgin with zero confidence - that’s just not New - for me at least. Plus, I think most viewers would assume that once they were living together that they’d had sex. Perhaps my question should be - how many magic-possessing 30 year old insecure virgins would pack their bags and move in with Karan - knowing how madly in love and deeply committed he is with you - and not have sex with him?

I’ve enjoyed this series, but i find the relationship between Karan and Achi to be completely unrealistic. As a sweet, fluffy BL drama couple, they’re about as sexy as they come. But seriously - how many viewers here have ever known 30 year old lovers that have lived together and not had sex yet?
