Agreed, like how is it Ximen's fault that Xiao You follows him everywhere and throws herself at him? Ximen has been nothing but kind and straightforward with her... So I think ShanCai's anger towards him is misplaced. I get that XY is her friend but like get a grip. Don't make XM the bad person here. For a supposed playboy, he's been pretty freaking respectful towards XY here.

I think it is worth watching. The leads have a lot of chemistry so if you are looking for just a sweet, brainless watch... this is it. Also this version is the most faithful to the original manga with China censorship screwing up two main arcs from the original... there is less bullying, and less flaunting of wealth in this version. I love this version, flaws and all so it depends on what you find entertaining.

I hated the Shan Cai character in all versions except the Japanese version. Makino actually made me like her. Every other version she sucks. This Shan Cai is annoying but Shen Yue is really cute so I don't mind her as much.
