samee. like it’s so ridiculous. you have countless of good moments, you guys love each other’s to death. only to ended by one of them get controlled and killed their loved. i love sad endings, but this is truly a bad ending. they don’t deserved to die! and why bother you travel to the future, if they only ended up the same.

truly. like im a sucker for sad ending, but ending the characters like this truly boiled me with anger more than it breaks my heart. i understand they want it to end, but they execution surely messed up.

My thought exactly! if compare to qingmu yuan, he got more hatred in his heart. so it’s definitely easier for him to get influenced, but the otherwise happened. like please make it make sense! that’s so sad.

i know. but truly doesn’t make sense, i always believe human always have this bad/good soul. i cant believed this bunch of kind and good misfits only ended up hurting each other because that one shards of soul turning evil. like they completely forgot that they love the person in front of them, from where the hatred came that they completely losing their sanity.

and the qingmu yan was influenced by fox demon because she’s afraid of darkness, like seriously?! they died unnecessary like that 😭😭

i guess, this is how they move the plot so we can have the 3rd series. but god, how cruel!

im mad bcs they definitely not yet ready for the battle with the demon fox. and why they all ignoring the forewarning signs.. from the future, it makes clear that the doom waits for them. hongye father told him in his dream so not to be reckless, yet he still go without much preparation to the battle. even the elder (the gatekeeper) for the tianmen pass already told them not to go, and why he won’t tell him the real purpose why he want to go over the boundary (maybe the elder can help them with it). this kind of deaths is truly avoidable if only they listen to hongye.

and why their love to each other are so shallow, they ended up killing each other?! oh my god! like im speechless watching the way they died. they were engulfed in the darkness, but weren’t their love strong enough to stay clear headed? 😭😭 thank god, huaizhu was not there.. if she was there, she and hongye will ended up killing each other too.

it’s so rare to see the characterisation of FL like Banxia, who is strong willed and always speak whatever she had in mind. be it in confessing her love, throwing facts about something or as simple as speaking her mind, she’s so good in delivering her emotions. credit to Song Zuer because i think she did great as Banxia, her crying scenes in later half of the story, were so good. i mourned for her lost, for the heartbreak she felt. looking forward to watch her next drama.

i love for the fact that Love in Pavilion is truly Xianxia at its best. The world building, the cgi(s), the sword dancing, the angsty, even in all the absurdities, it stands as true xianxia. i don’t need to use my brain that much, throw away all the logics, ignore the plotholes but the chemistry for each of the characters glued me to the screen. cameo actors/actress did a great job but our main leads deserved the recognition as well. they’re the perfect casting for their characters and i love them so much.
