Some people be taking this show to the extreme OK there was no consent ,there was under age drinking the actors…
The target audience is literally 15 year olds, how are you going to tell people to “grow up”. Look at the stats, 40% are 13 to 17 year olds. And as much as you want to deny it, fiction does affect reality, especially impressionable 13 to 17 year olds. Underage drinking is not excusable either, I don’t know why you brought it up like some excuse why no consent should be okay.
I rewatched this drama again because we have the CDs. As a kid, I guess this was decent because that’s when you didn’t care much about the content, you just watched because the actors looked good and you kind of enjoy the acting. And overall, as a kid, your mind thinks differently. But OH BOY, as an adult I tried rewatching this and I couldn’t even get through the first episode. Awful plot. So many cat-fights for a man that has ZERO decency for women. He’s a player that uses women and I do not find his behavior excusable or forgivable. He’s supposed to be the good guy because he wants the super hot main girl now, not his decently hot current girlfriend? How about no. Who even cares if he changes as the drama progresses, simply put, for me, this drama is BORING. The premise is BORING. The fact that this became a drama is actually ridiculous. The content is literally full of emptiness and not even when they fall in love did it cover for the ridiculousness of everything. The antagonist girl is in it for the money but girl, I pity you because the man you’re trying to catch is trash. Even I don’t want you to get with him.
First time is WYEL? I'm impressed. I honestly couldnt tell that this was his first time. Pretty good for an acting debut. Not sure if we'll see him in more major lead roles though since he's still pretty young and has a short (but of course impressive) resume. I hope to see him appear in more drama. Build up his experiences and hopefully, sooner than later, get more lead roles.
I cry. I loved this. Their relationship was very well executed imo. The tension between them was so good. I was tensing up everytime they got close to each other, like bruh look at how they look at each other, that's tense. Their chemistry was *chef's kiss*. The Koreans, they did it again. I wish it was way longer but this little package was good too. Short and simple. Gonna rewatch now.
When I see hateful comment, seriously...I hated a BL who's at the top and who a lot of people seem to like and…
Amen to this. Also respect those who dislike/hate this, made their point and discussed their reasons, and have already moved on. Whoever is left can have whatever respect is leftover, I guess.
Anyone else being really torn about watching the second season when it airs? Cos' on the one hand no other show…
I'd like to watch it. I'm setting my expectations to low though. Just cuz. Also, I think BrightWin and the people behind the second season know what's up. They've definitely heard of the many critiques and are trying to make something decent this time around. Key word, trying. I have no clue if these extras are gonna change anything but hey, I'm not going to not watch it. Also it's like 5 episodes? I doubt they have time for more drama.
The top reviews are totally unfair. Ignore them and give it a try. You won´t regret it.
Ehhhh I would hold off for a moment from saying they are unfair. Most of the critiques they pointed out are shared opinions by the majority. You're basically saying the majority of viewers are being unfair to the series? That's a bold statement. Not only is that making a huge assumption that most of the viewers are being biased, it's also inferring that many viewers did not give this series a fair chance and just started hating/complaining for no reason. As you can see by the reviews, many do have reasonable explanations why they believe the series is disappointing or went downhill at certain episodes. But it's a hit or miss series and unfortunately, didn't hit with a lot of the viewers. I would say read the reviews with an open mind then take a chance with the series and form your own opinion. Not everyone has the same taste/preference in a story so you don't know if you will or will not like the series. Maybe you will regret it, maybe you won't. Who knows.
I said it before and I'll say it again, BLs always age badly in general on MDL. Unless there's something really…
the fans who aren't avid BL watchers are starting to watch now that it's completed. I feel like they're usually more critical as well since they don't have the same affection as fans who only breathe BL content 24/7. Plus they haven't been supporting the series since day 1 so the thing about attachment and giving the series a pass won't apply. I agree as well that the rating will likely go lower than this.
I'm 50/50. One one hand, I'm over this series at this point, couldn't care less what it means to new watchers…
If that's what you meant by "commenting hates" then I understand completely. Previously I thought you were referring to negative opinions in general expressing their hate. I think those are okay for however long into the future. But the one's preventing (or attempting to scare off potential) new watchers, those I dislike as well. Imo every one experiences the series differently. You can't know who will regret until they've actually watched it. Let the series speak for itself, if new watchers like or dislike it, that's on them.
Lol. The haters in this thread are so mean. I mean, you're not the only who was disappointed but posting and commenting…
I'm 50/50. One one hand, I'm over this series at this point, couldn't care less what it means to new watchers or older watchers. I'm only here to see what conversations I can add to new watchers who wanna know wassup. I just answered a question below asking if this series has a good ending. Maybe I can answer other questions too. On the other hand, I can see why people are still commenting. Like you wait 7 days every friday for this? lol. The time invested and anger gotta go somewhere. If it leaves with the comments then so be it.
Personally it's a meh ending. I was already getting bored way earlier (ep 7 ish 8) so I already let go of a lot of my initial affection and wasn't that triggered by the ending tbh. It was just "okay that's done with, bye" kind of feeling.
We all watched this for Tor, who didn't? lol. At the beginning this was intriguing to me because Tor portrayed Sila so wholeheartedly and things were just starting to build up but once you get going with the plot, things start to get boring because there's a ton of repetitive and dragging dialogue. Toward the finale of the show I was skipping through the episodes.
Personally I didn't like Mingta. She was such a pushover but she's always barking about her morals with Tor. Yet she goes back to the people who have hurt both her and Tor and protects them. Like I know you're supposed to be this kindhearted person but c'mon, grow some balls and stand up for yourself.
The antagonists. Bruh. Idk but I get the feeling like they went overboard with those guys? They were so extra, all of them.
I think Tor definitely popularized this drama but even his acting alone can't carry the weight of boredom I felt.
Do not believe any negative comments or reviews because they were only based on minor and nitpicking issues on…
"Minor" "nitpicking" you make it sound like the obvious change in character personality is something people need a magnifying glass to find lol it's not minor, it's very much major.
Not subbed yet but this Ep13 reaction with Champion, 2gether director and New - Love by Chance director:https://youtu.be/QP4JsUZhYykSomeone…
I'm 37 minutes in and Champ has not explained anything regarding what happened lol He clarified a lil bit about the dream and why Wat showed up in Tine's dream. Then the dude to the right chimed in trying to explain that we have to take Wat's side of the story into consideration why he didn't show up at the hospital. Champ mentioned again that the hospital crying scene Win also did in one take, that that first take got the emotions through and he didn't wanna do another take, worried the emotions would be different the second time around. I'm not gonna continue watching lol I have a feeling he's not gonna explain anything.
People aren't ok with murder, but people like horror movies. People aren't ok with natural disasters, but people…
Yep. I was sort of still on board when Type was shown to be traumatized by what happened, like wow, this can show us viewers something serious about trauma, but I fell off the ship when Tharn kept wanting to have sex with Type despite knowing what the guy went through. Can you seriously think about your crush and his past and go, "Yeah but I'm horny" like?? Definitely the execution and delivery that lost me.
I guess people have different standards and justifications. Personally I'd watch 2gether over TharnType any day.…
As I said, I was explaining myself because I thought you misinterpreted my comment. If you had just told me I was wrong, I wouldn't have bothered explaining myself. I didn't want to come off as someone who's comparing EVERYTHING about the series, your comment in response implied that I was doing that, that's why I explained it was just the chemistry, editing, and execution for me. I'm not trying to "win" or "lose" anything, don't make this into something it's not. Edit: Since it looks like we've come to an understanding that all of this was unnecessary (well for me at least, I understand you better now) I'm gonna leave off with this.
