Unpopular opinion but as much as I find the tag bromance appropriate for this series, I don't agree that we should obstruct the series like this, especially on a big platform like MDL. Because the series is intended to be BoysLove, I don't think it's our right as fans to create a new identity for it. Viewing this as bromance is an opinion, not a fact. By adding the tag onto such a website, you're changing the facts about the series (even if this website has nothing to do with official tags, it's still a place where many people visit which can cause for misunderstandings). It just feels wrong. It's icky. New watchers who had not waited through this series will see the tag and assume this series's true identity is bromance, when in fact, it is a BoysLove story, supposedly a romance story between two guys who are attracted to each other in a romantic and sexual (omitted greatly) sense, just a poorly executed one. So yeah.
9.0?? are yall even okay??? i was curious about this series since it was so hyped so i binge watched it and plotwise…
In my humblest opinion, I do think this series got popular due to the two lead's good looks. It's all people talked about at the beginning. I saw tons of comments both here and Youtube talking about how this series had the best visuals. That was before any sort of relavent plot bloomed so don't @me with "but I watched for the plot" lol I know people stayed for the plot a shortwhile after but still, even after the editing started to act wonky, not many batted an eye. So yeah, in my opinion, based on what I saw, I deduce that good looks helped greatly with the series popularity.
lol.. why are you guys so surprised..Bright said in his interview (it came out as early as ep 5) that entire script…
Lol I wasn't expecting a kiss because I definitely recall in the behind the scenes, Bright mentioned it. But damn, not even a hug? Hugs can represent security and warmth. Where's the security and warmth for Wat and Tine? I'm sad.
BOOHOOO!!! You all complain about this.. about that... but you still watched it ?I genuinely enjoyed it.. I never…
Face it, the show flopped for many fans who really did like this series. Don't act like people who critiqued this has only ever hated the series. That is not true at all.
Tell me why I enjoyed the NG scenes more than the actual series lmao. But in seriousness, my opinion remains. This series is average. I've held this opinion since ep 6 when people were still hyping it up. Cute moments here and there won't magically save the story. What the story needed was better execution. Bright and Win both have areas where they can improve as actors. I don't think people should look at Bright's past and assume he's the "better" actor out of the two, because I don't think he was in this series. Win isn't any better but for a starter, he did pretty good. Overall, enjoyable series, light and easy to watch, something you'd enjoy if you don't take anything seriously, but if you're looking for something more concrete and better flowing, this ain't it. I will be looking forward to Win's next project and hope to see him play another major role.
I'm not really a dedicated fan of Bright lol I just like him in a casual way so good luck to his future endeavors. If I see something I like, I'll support but if not, then oh well.
To all the fans who waited for the series to complete before watching, GOOD LUCK.
This drama was so good. I initially watched this for Kyungsoo, my EXO-L prime dumbass had no interest in plot or other actors lol, but WOWOWOWOW I completely fell for the story and the bro relationship. I could have done without the romance, but it wasn't that bad. I was just way more interested in the broship. Would recommend!
LOL, Why is everyone complaining about lack of skin ship or kisses AND Fan service???Do they really need to do…
So that's the narrative this week? That everyone is complaining about lack of skinship or kisses AND fan service? Okay. I guess all the comments talking about acting, chemistry, editing, flow, character consistency, and the ex trope, doesn't exist.
I usually like to wait until completion before I put a review as well, but for some reason, at EP 7, I got the…
I'm a user at MyAnimeList and they have a rule where you can only submit a review after you've watched a certain amount of episodes, depending on the anime's episode length. For example, an anime that is 13 episodes long you will need to watch at least 4 to submit a review. Of course, this doesn't solve the problem because people can just fake it and pretend they've seen the amount, but it's better than allowing people to review something off 1 episode off the bat. Also, this way it's easier to filter and report when there's a rule in place. Maybe MDL can implement this rule? I don't know if they have one in place already but I don't see that mentioned in the guidelines.
The hype of the series prompted 50 users to make a review even before the series has been completed. I am not…
I usually like to wait until completion before I put a review as well, but for some reason, at EP 7, I got the feeling this series was going to remain average so my rating 8/10 will not change. I like it, it's cute, but that's it.
Well, I laughed out loud in that part. So not all have the same taste like you.
Ah thanks for your input. I was just thinking using odd editing and having the guy repeat "yo yo" over and over again was tasteless. But yes, I can understand it could have been funny to others.
I really don’t understand this comment at all. I haven’t read every single comment on this page but where…
No, I don't feel bad about what you said, I was just lost on where all of your frustration is coming from, especially when you're directing at this comment section specifically like we did all of the things you mentioned, when clearly, most of the comments here have not even so much as talked about BrightWin's personal lives. Furthermore, if that was your point, then please put that in your original comment, because right now, you've only mentioned MDL's comment section. That makes it confusing.
Otherwise, yes, I don't agree either with the fans who take every moment of BrightWin's and infer that into some fantasy that they're dating, then get mad at the people in their lives. That is definitely crossing the line. That's a no no thing to do.

Same. I haven't seen any comments hating on Bright/Win's personal lives. I have heard twitter has been a mess though. But that's twitter, not MDL. I'm genuinely lost lol I can feel all the frustration in the comment but I think it's been directed at the wrong comment section.
What do you guys think will Win star in another BL Drama?
I've seen a video of Win and this other dude auditioning (not sure though but they were talking like they were being interviewed and asked their opinions on BL relationships) for a BL role. I think there's a chance Win will star in another BL series since he has a past of being interested in such roles. But then again, he's pretty popular now. He will probably have more options to choose from and they won't necessarily be BL.
I mean, as far as I know, people are allowed to change their minds and feelings, based on what they see. If they saw something disappointing, then why not express it. Overall, many people still agree that this series started out great. Idk why it's so weird to you. Seems like a pretty normal thing to do. You spend 5 months online chatting with this sweet guy, last minute you find out he's been in jail 10 times, of course you change your mind and stop liking him. Same concept with watching something and changing your mind about it after certain aspects of it doesn't turn out as good as hoped.
I'm not really a dedicated fan of Bright lol I just like him in a casual way so good luck to his future endeavors. If I see something I like, I'll support but if not, then oh well.
