Yeah I think that too, but mainly cuz Bright felt like his life (personality, sports, music) matched with Wat more than Tine.

Don't know the details about when the director/staff decided to switch, but Bright has said in interviews that he requested the change.

Okay since we're ripping this series to shreds anyway, I have a small question. Y'all remember that one scene in the earlier episodes when Tine went to get Wat's phone fixed and the dude working there was going all "yo yo"?? The editing was weird and the dude made no sense.....what was that all about? Was it supposed to be comedic? I didn't laugh.

You know what was refreshing in EP 12? When Tine hung with all 3 of this friends at the food stand. That was probably one of the best things about EP 12, for me at least.

I guess not in Thailand, since tons of their BL series and normal series (too? I haven't seen too many) have product placement. Some less subtle than others, but product placement nonetheless. And yeah, agree that doesn't mean it's alright. Frankly some of the products they're trying to sell are weird. But it really does all come down to profit.

Same. When Pam appeared I just thought, damn, feel bad for her. Her situation is actually relatable. Not knowing what you have until it's too late. But yeah, I'm not mad she wants to get things back, I just feel bad she realized too late.

Yeah just wait. I think with the 7 day wait between each episode can also hinder the enjoyment, if you had any. Waiting to watch it all the way through to the end will probably be better.

The only toxic fans I've seen are the ones defending this series like no tomorrow. They've called people names (i.e. rats), insulted people's intelligence (i.e., faulty perspective), and insulted their personal lives (i.e., hopeless romantics who have been mind fucked). So far, lots of fans with real criticism has not stooped as low as to insult people personally. You "true fans" on the other hand have done much more. So.....who are the "toxic" fans here? I'll let you take a guess.

Because those product placements partially make these shows, why would anyone gripe about that? Take away the sponsors, have no show.

While I agree that complaining over late subs is stupid, cuz years ago fans would have needed to wait days or weeks, but now they're so privileged they think subs coming out half an hour late is gonna kill them. BUT that's it. Everything else you said completely ignores that what many fans in MDL have been saying is expressing disappointment by criticizism, not plain hate with no reason. Generalizing off skimming a few comments to say people are being "toxic". It's better to actually read them even if you disagree, than to make baseless generalizations.

I agree. Because Bright has previous experience already, not many people talked about his acting, but I feel the same as you. Like I know his character is supposed to be that expressionless, but the way Bright delivers it, just kinda makes it worse? I've noticed it since the way earlier episodes when we were supposed to see an increasing amount of love as the story progresses but the delivery remains the same. I think that definitely disconnected me as well from being able to genuinely enjoy Wat and Tine's interactions. Like it's cute but something's off.
