I get what you meant. I'll have you know I've written a review for both TT and 2gether and neither series influenced my review, so yeah. But what you've essentially done is tell me what I already know and am already doing. Sorry to shed light, but forming an opinion on a series includes both comparisons and non-comparison comments (whether I agree with or not). Even our own perspective is influenced by a previous thought, so it's not entirely your "own" perspective. What do you think you've just done by defining a "good viewer"? You've compared factors that make a "bad viewer" to what you consider a "good viewer" and then picked out the points that makes someone a "good viewer". You've compared two things to make a point. So I don't see how comparing two different series to make a point, is any different.

I don't know who you're directing all of this at, I thought it was at me at first since you specifically replied to my comment, but now I don't think you're directing it at me, but to the general viewer in this comment section? Define "good viewer"? What are the qualities you are basing as a good viewer? And how does that tie in with comparison and reviews?

As I said, I compare execution, chemistry, and editing, which are UNIVERSAL components of every series/lakorn/drama. That is a valid comparison, for me at least.

If you don't want to compare at all, then that's on you entirely. If people want to compare content, then that's on them entirely. All anyone can do is explain themselves on agreements or disagreements.

I think there are things that are plain universal for comparison for all series, for me they include execution, chemistry, and editing. You have to agree a good series need at least some of those. But things such as kisses and sex, or factors of the plot (in TT's case, rape and trauma) can't be compared between series. I don't know about anyone else, but I think comparing TT and 2gether based on the type of content, is useless. Saying TT had mental and physical abuse and rape, therefore it should have a worse rating compared to 2gether, doesn't really make sense imo since that's the content specific to TT. It's like saying two different stores selling two different products, should be compared on their product . Comparing Mc' D to Menards, for example. One sells fast food, the other sells appliances and supplies. Rather than compare their product and connecting that to their overall rating, perhaps people should compare their customer service and how they take care of their store.

I guess people have different standards and justifications. Personally I'd watch 2gether over TharnType any day. One thing I do want to praise TT is that at least the two leads had chemistry.

I'm surprised that Bright is genuinely invested in Sarawat's character and the story overall. You can tell he puts a lot of effort in his role. But how Sarawat was acted out says otherwise. This just further proves Bright's acting needs work. You can be as passionate as you want about a character and the story, but if on screen it doesn't look like that, then it's pointless effort bts. This makes me sad lol cuz I really admire Bright's thinking but oof, on screen is a different vibe.

You got good eyes lol I admit Bright's visuals got me into the series, but Win's vibrant personality is why I even stayed.

I can't imagine them in F4 lol though if they do audition, it would be interesting for Win to play as Jihoo. Idk about Bright, he doesn't fit anywhere. Maybe Yijung? .... or if I recall, that one extra dude who plays the guitar and drugged Jandi.

So what I learned as a 2gether viewer is I came for Bright but left with Win. The End.

I think they're being genuine. No matter how much you wanna think everyone out there must be able to see the flaws, but reality is, some people can genuinely enjoy anything and they won't even be bothered. It amazes me sometimes. But of course, it all goes back to preference/opinion. Perhaps they really don't see any flaws and this series is genuinely the best for them?

And that's why I wonder how their workshop process went. I see so many TharnType workshop videos but I have yet to come across a 2gether workshop session.

If that is the excuse then, I would like to know how was the whorkshop process? BrightWin definitely spent a good amount of time getting to know each other (through sports, getting to know each other’s lifestyle etc) before filming but getting close like bros compared to actually workshopping as lovers, can yield different results. Even if they shot out of order, if they had proper workshop, the issue wouldn’t be as noticeable. Films get shot out of order all the time, but the good ones you don’t notice or it isn’t as glaring as this series.

I mean, when you have someone as stiff as Bright as your co-actor, of course anyone standing next to him would shine lol I think Win needs imrpovement as well, imo it's not like he did phenomenal, just that he did significantly better than Bright for this series (and it's his first series too, so, says a lot about Bright's 4 year career) I hope he gets more acting classes and gets a new series. Talent like his should not be wasted.

Personally I think Win was the best option for Tine. I don't think I would have enjoyed this as much if it had been someone else, and the vibe would probably be completely different. Win gushes cuteness overload all the time, it's literally overwhelming sometimes being his fan. Gulf also fits well where he ended up, so it all worked out in the end for both of them. The reason why I say this, I'm assuming your comment is implying Gulf lucked out this disaster lol, is because despite this being a disaster, Win still shines and most fans still have hope for him as an actor.

"That" user? I doubt they'll update the 2gether rating. As far as I recall based on their rants on this comment section, they're a die hard 2gether fan. Also I thought TharnType was 18+? Idk why a 13 year old thought it'd be a good idea to watch it.

You're curious if he'll be back? Girl I want him GONE lol. Don't bother coming back into BL until you've taken more acting classes! Having 1 expression throughout the entire series is not acting. Saying that that is his character's face is not a good excuse because in the later half when he's supposed to be mutually dating Tine happily, he still has the same expression. No excuses here.
