I share the exact same opinion. I've definitely had fun watching this series as well, but doesn't mean I should ignore the glaring flaws. I think Win is the stronger actor between the two. He still needs major improvement but I definitely think he will go places once he polishes his skills. Bright looks good but for me, looks mean nothing if you can't utilize it properly. I don't want to see him in any more BL roles, I don't think he does either, but if he ever appears in one again, it better be after he's taken massive acting classes. I'll take Win in any role anyday. Will be waiting for his new projects.

I don't know if it's here or in the Youtube comments, but I remember when almost everyone was cheering on Sarawat for being romantic af (his cheesy ass lines, and him catering to Tine tryna flirt and all) and Tine was being so dense everyone was debating over his character development. Wow how time flies. When Wat was "romantic" can you imagine that??? wow

I agree. I think lack of execution =/= queerbaiting. It's a mistake that things turned out this bad but I don't think they intentionally wanted to queerbait. If they did, Wat and Tine wouldn't have been depicted this strongly as a couple (for the first half of the series, at least). Unless the gay folks see it differently? I could be wrong. But I just think the beginning was rather good for a BL, just that something happened along the way and things ended up with they are, unintentionally.

He actually sounded proud when he said there would only be 2 kisses imo. To me, in that context, he kind of revealed that he wanted there to only be 2 kiss scenes but was surprised when he had to kiss Win multiple times.

Plus Untamed is based off Mo Dao Zu Shi which is classified as a BL novel/animation so. Consider Untamed the censored/toned down version since it isn't officially genred as BL, and it still did better than 2gether in terms of romance. Says a lot about the quality of 2gether.

Bright has mentioned in one of the behind the scenes that this series only has 2 kiss scenes. But I don't think a kiss scene is going to save the horrid chemistry.

Opinions can change after witnessing disasters lol. In the beginning almost everyone can agree this version was better than the first trailer version, everyone was complimenting how much more lighter and easier to consume this version was. However seeing where this version ended up, it's safe to say I'm curious how the first trailer version would have turned out.

It's supposed to be a BL drama but I think the poor editing and poor acting made this feel more like bromance, thus many fans added the new tag. In the beginning when both Bright and Win still had some chemistry, I saw many people joke that they were the straightest gay couple ever. Not so much of a joke now though lol

I don't even ship them now, let alone in a couple years lol They act too much like brothers, even for fanservice sake, for me to find any joy in shipping them.

People have been unironically using the statement "The straightest gay couple ever" before they even saw the ending of this series lol. They're definitely the straightest, for sure, so straight you can't even spot the gay.

Both Bright and Win hyped ep 13 up too lol I was expecting something else. Turns out it's just a Naruto copy.

Yeah I was just thinking if something that is not intended to be BL, for example a normal heterosexual story, and someone thought there were gay vibes, so they added the LGBT+ tag, that would confuse quite a bit of BL fans who would want to watch that drama, but turnt out there's no gay relationships at all. I think this is the same way for the bromance tag. Strong chemistry can be said for both straight and gay couple, so it doesn't carry the same weight as adding tags like bromance.
