Egeon is pretty emotionally immature. He literally said he didn't go on the date w Lana bc it felt burdensome, finally they talked it out and it turns out he was avoiding Lana after that and didn't speak to her. Then he seemed shocked that she was upset that she felt had made him feel uncomfortable. No wonder her feelings were hurt. Lana better not pick anyone, she deserves better.
pleasantly surprised, so far! FL isn't an idiot who's failing every subject and needs ML's help to pass basic maths, she has brains and doesn't need ML to save her. ML has a nice deep voice (lol) and SML is just plain hot
wahhhh the ending was a copout, and resulted in too many plot holes and inconsistencies. Diverting from the novel, right at the end, just made way too many things illogical and really weakened the plotline for me. Would have preferred it to end at ep 15 tbh, if they were gonna do this. I still really enjoyed the first 15 eps!
What was the difference? I really want to know 😯
No worries, happy to help! I think we can enjoy the film and the book as separate pieces of art, but I kinda get why they changed the plot for dramatisation. :)

main difference in the plot is that in the book, FL met up w that bully girl and basically lost it, stabbing the bully girl...she ran away and was scared she'd killed bully girl. ML went to check it out and told FL no worries there was no body there you didn't kill anyone. However, there was a body and he got rid of the corpse, so he was trying to protect her. FL didn't realise the bully girl was dead until news came out that she was missing. Now, there had been serial r*pes and killings in the city so when ML went and faked not knowing FL, and confessed to killing bully girl he ended up being labelled not just her killer but the serial r*pist and murderer. That police guy wasn't convinced ML was serial killer and he thought ML was just covering for FL. In the end, it was uncovered that the serial killer actually killed the bully girl....so while FL did stab her, she didn't kill the bully...the serial killer came and killed her. Then ML came and found the body and thought FL was to blame so he tried to cover for her. The trial happened and ML was sentenced to 7 years for lying and hiding a corpse. At the court house, FL turned up with her hair in a buzz cut in support of ML, because prisoners get their hair buzzed short. FL went abroad to Hong Kong to study law, and manages to help get ML paroled in 4 years. ML goes to Hong Kong to live w FL.
I finally watched this and wow wow. Both main leads' acting was...luminous. I don't know how else to put it, they were both impeccable. I had all the feels I gave this 9.5/10 bc I preferred the book's plot and ending
Other than the slow burn wholesome romance, the best thing about the webtoon was YR gaining confidence & learning to stand up for herself. In the drama they not only made her a fool (e.g. getting drunk and losing her money) but they took away her character development. It's like they tried to force more dramatics into the plot but it's just making for frustrating watching.
The key charming point of the storyline is no longer there, which is disappointing but I have to say I'll keep watching until the end bc I still have a lot of affection for Bom, Jae Hoon & Dae Bum.
Can someone explain to me what is the secret identity So Rang is hiding? The one of ye hyunsun. I've lost the…
So Rang's real name is Hyun Sun... her father was a minister and she has an evil step-mother and a younger half-sister. Hyun Sun was engaged to Shin Won, and he visited her house secretly to scope her out and fell in love w her. However, the evil step-mother wanted to get rid of Hyun Sun so she got an assassin to get rid of her... assassin thought she was dead after falling off a hella high cliff but she survived and call herself So Rang. Meanwhile, at the wedding to Shin Won, he noticed the bride was replaced by Hyun Sun's younger half-sister and was like WTF....and he's been looking for his real fiancee ever since. This all happened just before the marriage ban 7 years ago so nobody got married. Hope that makes sense?
while I hate the curing with nature the same way I hate curing mental issues with power of love, it's not like…
Very valid point, but the way I see it, firstly the heavy drinking is to be expected..I mean that's baked into the title, secondly there is actually an intense drinking culture in S Korea which this drama is spoofing & finally the drunken antics provide comedy.
So this nonsense & imo completely unnecessary curing via nature took me off guard. I agree that curing w the power of love (ugh ughhh) is trash as well!

it's a pretty basic cliched plot, but done well

Also wtf poor Seo Ah, DH = creep
Finally, we have the truly delusional Chae hee with her manipulative crying.
This season is a rollercoaster.
