Wow do ppl really think ZXW was gonna let her escape him? In his plan she would confess to her father's sins, father would pay the price and he would praise her for her honesty and that would help elevate her reputation so that he could later marry him. In what logical world would confessing the sins of the Hua family in front of all the other butlers lead to Hua family all getting off scot-free and retiring happily in the South? C'mon now. FL isn't that dumb to believe any of that. Also lmao I saw someone write that ZXW would would just need to write an edict to make her his wife and he really planned to let her family go...What write an edict and she would be married to him? She is a divorcee, big nono and his mother is dead set against it. He can't make her his lil wife that easily, which he admitted to before. Which is why he was trying to manipulate the situation to his advantage. If he really wanted to let Hua family leave safely he would have burned the evidence letters and let it go completely, hiding everything. As always ZXW just does what he thinks is best.
omg yesss they have insanely good chemistry in Hello, I'm At Your Service, can't believe we're getting spoiled with another drama with them as main leads. yes, yes yesss
Love it, so fluffy, great chemistry, green flag relationship, FL & ML acting is on point. Is it groundbreaking? no, but istg I see dramas mess up the most basic plotlines all the time.
I have never seen an adaptation that feels so completely faithful yet doesn’t actually follow the scenes from…
couldn't agree more! Even though the plotline has veered away from the novel many times already, the spirit of the characters is not diluted at all and the overall narrative is very much in line with the novel. I'm so curious to see how they tackle the ending now.
ok so I just read the novel recently (masterpiece imo, so well written) and come to find the drama adaptation is being released?? guys the adaptation so far is great, all changes that were made to storyline make sense to me and it definitely keeps the spirit of the characters from the novel. I am so glad they are spending time on childhood scenes because those are what make you root for FL and explain why she is the way she is.
my expectations for this drama have truly soared now.
Maybe u can drop the plotholes here and we can discuss
some illogical things that bugged me - they are alerted to taxi being found in a scrapyard, logically police would have told them leave the vehicle as is, but no we get a scene of police racing to scrapyard just to see the vehicle being crushed in front of them - when the school is being evacuated, FL and her sister are calling each other frantically over and over and getting stressed because the line is busy. It's 2023, they would have just kakaotalked messaged each other in that case, no need for dramatic scene.
larger problems I have - FL literally RUNNING towards an exploding vehicle, also her sister returning to the school - FL divulging details of a live, ongoing case to her sister (come on, now) and bringing her teenage sister and a classmate into a situation like that (wtf, seriously) -also FL's incessant unnecessary screaming/shrieking in more recent eps (she is in cyber crime, they literally see some of the worst things on the internet, they are not delicate flowers)
basically I hate it when plotlines are sloppy like this, and we see things happening illogically just to move plot forward. Seeing FL written in this unprofessional and idiotic manner is just infuriating to me. I haven't written the original source webtoon btw.
