ngl this show reminds me of those beautifully crafted expensive desserts that look so pretty but when you bite into them they don't actually taste that great. I'm not here for the plot, I'm ignoring everything illogical... I'm only here for my eyes to be pleased..ok thank you bye bye
Underrated imo. This is the kind of show that you'll either find fascinating or be bored to tears by. I, personally, enjoyed the slow building of the relationship between them, plus as an ex-people pleaser the workplace scenes cut deep T__T
Some of the conversations flow so naturally you forget they're acting.
I had issues with the typical BS redemption arc that you find in so many dramas, where an awful person gets magically forgiven but I do understand the point in trying to explain why she acted that way...however, to me that's just an explanation not an excuse for her behaviour. Really left me thinking ... and hoping to hear that bell IRL one day haha
fr I ship them they have great chemistry and banter so I feel like they would work but we need to see if Sung Ho can see him in that romantic way. Plus the two of them are my fave personalities in the house (so far). One is so bubbly and cute and can make conversation easily and the other is kinda quirky but also considerate.
I'm only on episode 2, but does she really understand the consequences of trying to prevent her parents from forming…
yeah tbh calling her "mum" and hugging her at first sight is kinda dumb, but I guess she just broke down as her mother had just passed away. She does realise that saving her mother will result in her ceasing to exist, she's not that dumb, but she feels like it's worth it to save her mother.
aww that warm hug, I love watching those two bond and get closer. lmao a Teacher GK, he really did that he made evil haelmoni cry it was hilarious to watch
They kept repeating same games, probably due to Jin Ho's injury (PD's fault for lack of safety measures). Jin Hyeong is so vile and sneaky. Dislike him immensely. Basketball player was a violent fool. Ho Jing Ho was just himself...v clever and has his own code of honour. Lots of other interesting characters on the show. Overall, I'm disappointed by lack of variety in games and I was expecting a plot twist towards the end.
ok I finally caught up with the last couple weeks' of eps.. I'm enjoying this so much!
Love that TK has come to terms with his feelings and is expressing them openly but I completely understand where YD is coming from. Ofc we as the audience wanna see them together ASAP but her actions are more realistic. She has to put her baby first and she was literally just cheated on by her long-term bf, lost her job due to sexism and discrimination and going through it. I think it makes perfect sense for her to be wary and not want to jump into anything so quickly. I'm sure her eyes will be opened to how sincere TK is in due time. love this couple so, so much ^___^
okayyy I started watching this randomly a few days ago and I already binged up to current episode. So far, it's great! I got totally sucked into the plot, and I'm suspecting everyone and everything rn.
If anyone has been considering watching, start it!
That's always such a mess. Why can't they just write that he went on a business trip or something
omg yes that would have been a super interesting plotline. Imagine TK has to now join the fight as i'm sure his step-father's will would be heavily contested by nasty family, if he left even a penny to TK's mother. Oooooh, I really wish they had taken that route, instead.

Here, the pacing is just great. There's character development and I'm hopeful that the truly evil ones won't be let off in the end.
The hugging/crying scene got me right in the feels. awww T___T
