Started watching this and immediately rolled my eyes as right at the start there's a completely gratuitous scene of the FL in her bra. I was prepared to end up dropping this in annoyance bc ugh seriously?? Well, there are many more gratuitous scenes of FL like that, but somehow it didn't annoy me so much...

That's because the drama itself is just delightful.
Absurd yet heartwarming, kinky yet wholesome & features a healthy relationship with so many green flags. (Honesty, acceptance, talking to each other, not rushing to make judgements, compromise from both sides).
The bed scenes are absurdist comedy theatre! Also, ML & FL acting is on point and believable.

I ended bingeing all 9 eps and by the end my cheeks were actually hurting because I'd been smiling throughout most. I would love to see more dramas that feature healthy relationships like this!

This just goes to show that casting is everything.

This has a crazy plot w massive plot holes & is low budget but because they cast the FL and ML so well, instead of a train wreck it's somehow a fun yet ridiculous ride.
FL's acting made this a joy to watch, plus there was actual chemistry w the ML.

I'm hopeful that S2 keeps up the crazy energy and doesn't disappoint.

Nope I dropped after 18 eps, and watching clips from the last half of drama. I gave it the benefit of the doubt to watch that far. I understand that others seemed to enjoy it, but I want to offer my view for those who like me can't stand this kind of FL

I think if I had watched this drama when I was younger I would have thought it was amazing but I've outgrown silly one-dimensional FL. ML's character was well thought out, and the actor did a great job, but in other areas the plotline was very weak imo.
I'm more disappointed than anything because it had great potential, and I zipped through the first 10 eps. Had to drop it after I I watched through clips of the last 18 eps and found out that FL doesn't get any character development.

18 episodes in, I give up!
FL is an actual moron. I tried to look past it, because the beginning was interesting but from ep 11 onwards the plotline becomes ridiculous. Waste of time, illogical, frustrating.
Actor who plays ML impressed me though, hope he gets more projects after this. Also CGI budget must have been massive.

I skipped through like 90% and I only watched the scenes with our main couple and I regret nothing. Extremely enjoyable. Their relationship is so sweet. ML is all kinds of adorable squeeeee

I do feel this is pretty underrated but you need to be in the right mood and have patience to watch. The plot does go off the logic rails.
The main thing that was jarring for me is that the FL looks super young for her age so her match with ML seems a bit off, as they're supposed to be similar ages.
ML was pretty great in his role, he did crack me up as the mean scary boss with zero empathy.

Don't watch this!!

Unless you want to see a drama that has:
* legit acting skills across the board
* ML & FL chemistry = on fire
* side couples are not annoying af
* FL's not a baby-voiced drama queen idiot but clever and calm
* female friendship & empowerment
* fluff scenes with high re-watch value

The plot went wobbly towards the end and the finale was rushed but it's the best Cdrama of 2022 so far by miles. Binge it ASAP

I'm so happy to finally see some representation. This & Merry Queer are making me hopeful because in S Korea there are still many right-wing homophobes unfortunately. Even at recent Seoul Pride there were literally thousands of right-wing protestors spewing hate. Hoping this can change some people's minds. Love is love is love.

The cast seems lovely but Jeseok is a massive player. Keeps coming out with slick, insincere lines. Ughhh

Agree 100%. Btw I really like the actress who plays her, have seen her in other stuff and she's amazing but the character was just awful and super selfish.

It's difficult for any drama to pull off a mishmash of genres, but this one did just that masterfully.

It switches from slapstick comedy, to heartwarming, then to detective thriller, then back to sugary romance. When the plot goes super cheesy, it's always with a sense of cheeky self awareness. So many characters to root for and damn they even managed to fit a sageuk in there for a couple of eps that outdoes most of the full-length ones!

Highly recommend if you're in a rut or want to watch something that lifts your mood.

I skipped FL's older sister's plotline from ep 5 bc it was just irritating me.
Once I fast-forwarded all her scenes, it was basically pure enjoyment.
It's wild to me that so many ppl apparently thought it was boring. Best Kdrama of the 2022 so far, for me.

He's definitely had a nose job at least but tbh I don't think ppl should mind if actors/actresses have had plastic surgery or not. It's their face and life. :)
