In the first episode, we suspected Kaye of being the culprit because he always carried a hammer. However, this episode took us on an emotional rollercoaster. It turned out he carried the hammer solely to protect himself from debt collectors. We witnessed the immense hardship and suffering he has endured while trying to make a living. Dew Jirawat delivered an outstanding performance as Kaye; his tears and despair were portrayed to perfection. The same goes for the character Phat; Tee played the role brilliantly, complemented by intense facial expressions and spot-on vocal intonation.

IrenaK I am so glad Xixiao found out what's going on with Wan, and I am even more glad that he actually respected her wish to keep certain things to herself and not talk about them. 😌 He didn't confront her, but I bet he will confront her mother... She is the main reason for her struggles, and he knows that now! 😤Oh, and Grandma... I wanted to hug her for the favour she asked of Xixiao. 🫂 Please, I hope everything will be alright with Grandma and she survives this illness. 😟

Italophilia Waahh. It's tremendous pressure to carry your parents' expectations on your shoulders. Personally, it was a huge relief for me when I was able to let all that go, but I recognize not everyone can easily do it. In the end, we have to live with our own life choices and I hope we don't have regrets, like Krit.

The first defense was pretty realistic in how it played out. Brutal, but effective defensive strategies by Jiu Si prove out and hold off Liang's forces, costing the latter a 5th of his men. The second battle did beg the question of why do a sorte' out through the gates to engage the enemy? Better by far in this.situation to stay behind the walls and defend the gate and walls. But it was still exciting action nevertheless. One last quibble is how on earth did Ye Shi'An morph into Legolas? LOL!!! Finally got a true, passionate kiss between the leads during the lull between the battles. And Zhou Ye returns just in time. Hopefully Qin Wan also shows up? Great if those two could finally meet on the battlefield.

Rossellinique They definitely need to clarify their relationship because one is taking it ligthly and the one feel way too much right now and herre we had the effect. The girls now both know about each other so let's see if their story will start soon. Jun was probably rarely scolded to be honest and he even cried at work. But good because Sorn realised that it was too much and maybe he will reflect he behaviour towards Jun.

LIang is an ambitious fool who has started a rebellion he can't finish and has thrown the nation into chaos Old Mo is a stupid old fool who lets an evil creep out of prison. And General Zhou Gau Lang is a stupid fool for not respecting and trusting his son. This episode is aggravating to watch because these fools are the cause of so much trouble, undermining the brilliant efforts & competency shown by Jiu Si & others. And I'm so proud of Zhou Ye at the end of the episode, calling out and shaming his father!.

It also teases the distinct missions and intentions of our three aspiring imperial servants.What stood out most, however, was the female lead's deliberate actions to catch the male lead's attention—it is no wonder she was punished so quickly, as the Directress most likely saw right through her.

miffyluvr The suspense and the very obvious tension between Kay and Phat are CRAZY!! This episode was more Kay focused as in we got a glimpse of Kay's life and personality through his own eyes as well as through Phat's pov as a detective. It helped to understand his character and his layers more and creates a great foundation for the rest of the series. And referring to Kay and Phat's dynamics, you can see that Phat already trusts Kay to a certain extent i.e. during the interrogation he didn't dismiss Kay's explanation but he actually listened to the theory. And not only here, but also when Kay was in that sort of trance he let himself fall (literally) into Phat's arms, as if his mind and body were telling him that this person is a safe space. Really loved the details that showed how their relationship is changing since their first meeting.

The third episode clearly slows down after the action-packed opening of the series — and it's all the better for it. Instead of chases, we get the most emotionally heavy episode so far, one where the people matter more than the crime itself.The heart of the episode is the shift in Phat and Kay's relationship. The move from interrogator–suspect to an informal partnership feels surprisingly natural, and the small, intimate scenes work best here: the quiet conversations in the car, the shared meal, Phat's reaction to Kay's panic attack. The Dew–Tee duo builds tension mostly through looks, gestures and silence, which fits the suffocating thriller atmosphere perfectly.Kay's backstory adds a lot too — his father's debts, caring for a sick parent, the constant pressure of money. Dew plays it without exaggeration, through sheer helplessness and quiet fear, and you really feel it. Tee, in turn, shows a more human, protective side of Phat without losing his police composure. The Nekros manga thread as a blueprint for the murders still keeps the tension high and forces the characters into a race against time.It's not flawless. The investigation occasionally stalls in favor of long scenes at the station and a bit too much spelling-out of how the killer operates. The side characters — the corrupt politician, the loud media — stick to fairly familiar genre molds.Even so, EP3 holds up brilliantly. It's a mature episode that proves this series can hook you not just with a brutal plot, but with a beautifully written relationship between its two leads. The minor lulls are more than made up for by the emotional weight and the acting of the main duo.

cccmmm I sill think the show is doing great with this genre, but I'm frustrated that there are no more explanations anymore. if I wasn't really versed in the omegaverse things that are happening, I wouldn't have understood a thing. This is what I believe is missing the most in the 3rd episode… as there are no explanations, we are left with just the weirdness of it. smelling a shirt just seems weird and laughable, until you get a real understanding. Yep I think therefore that to fully enjoy this show, one must read a little about the omegaverse before, meaning only a closed audience which I think is too bad as it has great potential as a series.Also I wish there could be more genuine feeling involved… for now it kinda all seems fake and weirdly written. I'm here hoping for a serious series, not for some side quest in between hard-core-weirdly brought NC scenes.
