sometimes Su Li is smart but other times she's…

sometimes Su Li is smart but other times she's plain stupid - why the f*ck did she need to meet with Ying Ying?!???? after their meet in the previous ep where they threated to exposé Gang Gang as the one that leaked the contract info of the other actor, forcing Su Li to cave to their demands & give her husband half of everything. there she told them they had no reason to contact each other afterward. so why oh why does she open the door & let her husband in? why she go meet Ying Ying. especially after seeing her at the hospital - she knows that even more then her husband Ying Ying wants that abortion. but still she goes to meet her? & then turns her back to her - really???? like how stupid can one be?!? oh well now the choice of "to keep the baby" or not has been taken out of her hands. but the sec she went all out & started buying baby stuff i knew that, that was a ominous sign. ***********************************************************************************************************************i don't get why we keep getting the plot of the young girl that treated badly by her family. i get that's to show up what Ying Ying might have lived through & why she is like she is. but i feel sad for the young girl for Ying Ying - not at all. personally i wish Su Li would just go to the press with the whole sordid tale & have done with this sh*t. but 7 more ep's to go ugh....

so many surprises in this ep, for sure didn't…

so many surprises in this ep, for sure didn't foresee that by the end that Gang Gang wouldn't just make-up her mind to leave her husband, but have the divorce papers ready to be signed. given her personality that's some fast work - good on her. am happy something woke her up. *******************************************************************************************************& with Su Li, i so hope she got more tricks up her sleeve as i don't want her husband & his disgusting mistress to get any of her money. but after Gang Gang's f*ck-up (spilling the beans about the pregnancy) was kinda shocked how much this info effected Shu Heng, especially given his previous attitude when Ying Ying told him she was pregnant, he was far from happy, if anything - when he said "neither" i was sure he doesn't like kids. but Su Li being pregnant suddenly had such a deep effect on him - weird.

this ep was touch & go with both FL's…

this ep was touch & go with both FL's - i was worried (well annoyed) that Su Li suddenly softened towards Shu Heng, like i get her suddenly having a change of heart as he saved her life, but given his behavior i would wonder why there no cops involved as they were almost run over & it looked intentional. but even if it wasn't still cops need to be involved cause crazy driving like that can endanger people. but nothing came of it & she suddenly started walking around with that guilt look - was annoying to watch, so happy she swapped out her OG jewelry & Shu Heng finally confronted her. & everything is out in the open - the sleeping with the enemy was getting old & stressful to watch. but then we get the news at the end - kinda made me laugh. the irony of it all - *************************************************************************************************************************Gang Gang is worse off, idk what it's gonna take her to wake the f*ck up about what a gross man she has married & when they finally fought at the end i was sure he would hit her. kinda surprised it didn't boil down to that given how he treats her. personally i hope she leaves him, but i have a feeling that isn't how things r gonna turn out with her. bummer

Qu Manting

70s look. I swear how can a fragile woman can carry a double man? Thank God they didn't discover the real identity of Liang Chen. But the funny scene was the bar🤣🤣 When the ML said "Don't mess with her,I'm her man."Now she might be confusee because she said she wanted to find someone compatible with her.

Fan Yu is such an ungrateful idiot

We obviously saw signs of it way back when he got himself into deep gambling debt (that Gu Jiu Si saved him from). And then again later when he stupidly punished Jiu Si's fellow Yamen Runners, creating discord between them and Jiu Si. Now we see him stupidly falling prey to envy of Jiu Si and into the manipulative clutches of Lou Zi Shang.

Poisons, flowers and alliances

Not sure if the celebration scene was before or after the poisoning, but Huayong and his father looked already kind of close. 🤨 So, considering they had such a relationship all along, I don't want to believe the father was behind the poisoning. 🙅‍♀️ However, if the target really was meant to be the Crown Prince, then I expect the poisoner was someone who wanted this favoured son gone and another prince to take his place... Also, I forgot if they mentioned how Huayong's mother died, so I wonder if maybe she was the favoured wife and someone got rid of her too? 🤷‍♀️Her giving him the Immortal Vine, not knowing who she was giving it to, was a very kind act. And because of that, he just fell even harder, if that's even possible anymore... 😏But Huayong is on a mission to eliminate all the rivals, it seems. The 4th prince is already out of the competition, so that leaves 3 more to go. 😂 Could the next one be the 2nd Prince? At least he was theorising about his possible flaws. 🤔And I liked that his poem was unusual in some ways — not covered with the symbolism of specific flowers to praise certain traits of Xihe, but instead, with his poem, he let her know she has the reins to choose what flower she prefers and he will just be that. Was it a hidden promise of submission? 😏🤷‍♀️And the way Xihe finds her allies... 🤭

Going good

Episode 3 is pretty good. You can see how both parties are starting to adapt and respond to the other in a way that kinda shows they are trying to understand the other. You see more of what they are going through like nahkun and his dealing with his family and father, the expectations and such. You have phatsa who wanted freedom, to work, and do as he please. Now they are both "trapped" more so phatsa who is an OMEGA. He is trying to learn more but we also learn there is Alot more to phatsa than then we thought we knew. A few things about omegaverse i know others wont understand without explanation but i also feel like the contex explains enough especially with what they did explain in ep. 1 & 2. I feel like i would get bored if there is too much explaining. But i feel like soon there will be more explinations since phatsa asked the one omega to help him learn.

"I have experience with this!"

Ha ha! The scene where Jiu Si teases Zhou Ye about the three stages of going from reluctant marriage to sworn siblings to husband and wife!! He notes that Zhou and Ms Qin are already at stage 2!!! Later, we see that many characters in the Eastern Capital of course are starting to turn eyes towards Jiu Si's rising star, not all with good intentions.

Intriguing

First episode and I am all in. Love the ml. Leng is a hidden treasure. The way the storyline begins in one time period and shifts is enough to keep me wanting more. Love the music and the editing and transition from one scene to another.

This is on fire. Best intro to a new show. The director really knows to kick it out. Neo Hou knows how to show off his skills. Start off hot, hopefully and believe it will end in greatness.
