This one was nice, that hug scene AND HUG at the end..Lovely, Lovely, nice..Enough of the whole needing 100 words bit..Very annoying flaw to MDL reviewing of chapters..It NEEDS to GO!!!

It's so sad to see how sad she has become without her husband. She looks and sounds so defeated. She hands over all her responsibilities to YuRu. YuRu and JiuSi both are becoming more and more in sync with the way they think. Back in Yangzhou some interesting developments happen as Li Zi Shang plots to separate himself from Wang and avoid blame for the atrocities they committed ... but Ye Shi'An over-hears their conversation. He may turn out to be a real wildcard.

IrenaK They got me all confused with how they dealt with the demons. At first, I was quite relieved to see Xiuyuan was able to snap out of Yacha-mode, but then Lifei killed him... She cried a lot, and I even saw him disintegrate... Didn't he? But then some scenes later, he wasn't dead after all. 🫣😖But funny enough, the saddest part for me in this episode was Zhaomin's death, because I kind of rooted for her and Deng, but well... now it is what it is. 😢💔 And I must admit, Master Chongyi cries well. 😭👏But Tongzhou, Tongzhou... I have been balancing all the time between whether to trust him or not, and the drama comes to an end very soon and I still can't figure out what his role in all this actually is. 🤔 I hoped he wouldn't try to leech Lifei's powers anymore, but greed is greed, I guess... I don't really trust his words that it is to protect her. Maybe he thinks so, but I definitely do not. 😒🙅♀️

nero truong i was only really in the mood to get to two episodes but i had to see these next two too . . . this is such a perfectly formed show ？？？we’ve gottent o such a great part thanks to great set+up & actually having a high calibur of writing. there’s literally so many things i can talk about i literally do not know where to start ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ i think tachibana worked out perfectrlt. i actually did not realize he would be emoto NOR DID I REALIZE EMOTO WOULD BE VIRGO . . . all three of which were handled absolutely precisely. the final shot of him slowly dying with all these pure feathers descending MWAH 。 ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ i really like how tomoko is used in this show. i like how after being welcomed into the club she now specifically becomes the person who reaches out to all these new people. i think you can say shun lags behinda lot to the others & that’s true ，i can’t deny that. but i don’t hate it. his genuine care for miu is sweet & i think it does what it needs to do for him & for the crew. & my princess JUN returned hehe. i like how she gets to love food & isn’t shamed for it ，especially as an athletic cheer+leading girl. & she’s also treated as diligent & competent as a candidate & actual captain & also as a friend who wants the greater good for her friend LITERALLY AT THE COST OF HER LIFE POSSIBLY ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ somedthing i specifically really like is kengo first reacting with doubt over gentaro trusting tachibana but he is able to trust gentaro because at the end of the day gentaro has showed so many times before he should trust him. i like it sooo much ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ ｡･:*:･ﾟ★,｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ i do think that’s all i can right now. this was all spun so perfectly & now i really feel the pressure of a show closing with plenty of episodes to wrap with. i think we’ve cehcked each box accordingly & i am ready for send+off. i fully appreciate everything i have critiqued before now. not exactly but they did do a good job with the time they had & the duration. everything we care about was handled with care.

Ana I'm happy that sujin and heejin got to have a date together because sujin has been pursuing her for a long time but that momentt never came until now. At the start I felt bad for Eun Chae because no one voted her as an interest but now that might change because Eun Chae and Hye Yeon have a great chemistry. Im also happy that Chae Bae is on a date with Yong Kyu to get to know him better.

jeoneungd It’s a great first episode with several characters introduced but can be confusing, editing is challenging though the storyline kept me interested. I was confused at first as to who is whom until it started making senses. But the series is definitely worth continuing.

Oh, what an episode! It was the best one so far, I think! 🤩The way she helped him navigate the arena with the drums, the moves he did while blindfolded, and then that genuine hug of joy after his victory! 🥰🫂 And they actually prepared for such a situation... they trained for this. Oh, what a team they make! 🤗 And now he has a keepsake — her red ribbon... 🤭But I saw Li Mao's face there, and the Grand Tutor's too. Mao is getting jealous, and he notices she's warming up to Wuyi and slipping away from him. I noticed how much she just talks about how "Wuyi did this" and "Wuyi did that," and how she fought or trained there and learned that — all of it making Mao very noticeably frustrated. I will just repeat myself and say I hope he won't turn against Wuyi, but I think it eventually might happen. 😟And the Grand Tutor just smirked at Mao's reaction to Wuyi and Jiayu's hug. He noticed that, and that's exactly what he wants — to turn both friends against each other and get rid of Wuyi... 😒 Also, just a random question — could the Grand Tutor know that Wuyi is actually Crown Prince Wenxi, the true heir of the realm? 🤔

This one at least starts out with some much-needed-cuteness and romance as Jiu Si and YuRu are rescued and finally have some peaceful rest together. But after finally reuniting with Jiu Si's mother, we get some intense sadness as first the latter copes with the loss of her husband and then YuRu finally, finally has to deal with the grief of losing her real mother. This series needs an episode or two that isn't stabbing us in the heart in order to give us an emotional breather.

KJ2025 Loved this episode.👏🏻 Yao gets his honor back even tho injured. He did well and has earned back the respect he thought was forever lost to him. It took a great deal of time to round up the spies but WuYi came back in style with his caged prizes. I thought he was going to suggest to northern general for them to try out north’s version using the spies as targets.😝 He was too honorable for that but I bet the thought crossed his mind, He did not appreciate their rendition of him in the storybook.🤣😂How attuned these two are. JiaYu figured a way to hide his injury and protect him via drumbeats. It was kinda awesome how they pulled that off and how production made it feel so real. It was very satisfying to see that arrow hit dead center. And for WuYi to hear his drummer’s directions to out maneuver cheating tricks after victory declared. The Empress dowager disappeared and I was expecting her to try something while he was out on the field. There is no telling what she will cook up now in machinations. I completely despise the low key smug face Tutor Xie’s been wearing ever since his son has become regent. He knows his place and has to keep his arrogant ambition hidden, but he feels more and more free to sow seeds of darkness in his children. The ends justifying the means and all for the greater good. 😝🙄 Tho childish, it was so satisfying to give Empress dowager a neener neener! every time she gave a sour look that her plan was crumbling before her eyes. I do worry about the sister now tho because she has caught the general’s eye with her brave defiance and Empress dowager will see marrying her off to the general as payback for the arrows. Loved the victorious hug between leads after such a long overdue comeuppance to that ass of a general. WuYi finally confronted his mom about removing his brother’s freedom of choice about military service. He called her out for her cowardice and apologized for not being able to guarantee his safety but the honorable thing was to let him determine his own fate without being held back due to a mother’s fear. And now it is clear what the box of scrolls were. Unread letters from WuYi. What I am curious about is if he is Xiao Sheng, why does his mother think he is dead? There is still plenty of mystery about the leads parentage. JiaYu is having positive impact on people. The mom was made to realize that a child not crying out for pain was not necessarily not in pain. She is recognizing how selfish and one sided her love has been between sons. I liked that JiaYu had rebuttal for every point Mao brought up. It was not rudely or without thought but exceptional counters to the points he thought most important. Mao sees that she is growing as an adult and that her intelligence is not coinciding with the direction the Tutor is providing. He wants to fight because he is jealous of the growing friendship between JiaYu and WuYi. They are most likely gonna make him a carbon copy of dear old dad and that will be a damn shame. 😝

Episode starts with WuYi landing hard and head hitting brick from target. Fortunately the blindness was temporary. JiaYu’s stories of the handsome Mao just thrilled him to tears.🤣😂😝she is concerned for his well being but has no concern of his feelings nor considers them a couple. He bears this in mind with the promise he has made to her mother. His mother visits with medicine but still won’t talk to him. JiaYu tries to convince her to visit and when that fails asks to be taught how to make chicken soup. They argue about her prying into his family affairs and she later explains what happened in context. I like that Mao got to be on the receiving end with how excellent his friend choices are and that she will make every effort to protect WuYi who is a pillar for the people. Interesting how similar the friends’ pouty faces are. 🤣😂 The northern general is doing his best to be as insufferable as possible. He brings a lame hound as a gift for WuYi’s brother. Tho angry he let the general know that one never knows when they can assist in the battlefield. I would have that dog trained to that general’sscent to bite him in the arse before the competition. All’s fair and all that. After his visit there, the general grabs Mao to visit WuYi. Somehow he already knows of WuYi’s injury and testing to see to what degree. His sadistic tale of using slaves for target practice or in the front lines if survived that. 🤬 There was great satisfaction for me when WuYi took his arrow and splintered that bastard’s tossed one at the dancer. His brother learns that WuYi wanted him back in the saddle and his mom was the obstacle. The idiot went out and got drunk instead of trying out the stirrups and practicing. It is interesting that JiaYu trusted WuYi enough to reveal her orphaned status. She even describes in great detail the one who killed her parents. She also has this dreadful habit of ruining the few nice things she says to him with a zinger at the end that completely unravels the pleasant sentiment. She still has every intention of taking off with Mao once the contest is over. I enjoyed his quip about the north sending a princess to them. The northern general wasn’t expecting the onus to be from his side. It also clarified to JiaYu and Mao that he had no intention of selling out the sister for some political alliance strategy. At the end of the episode we see the man that agreed to make JiaYu his apprentice. He does not appreciate being the backup plan but will work for liquor. 😝WuYi is truly a masochist with all the Mao stuff thrown in his face and the resentment from his brother when he wasn’t the cause. I respect that he looks out for her best interest and is even providing a mentor to help her skills improve. Both curious and fearful to see the contest and whatever stunts that depraved general brings to the table.

This episode worked perfectly as a bridge for Jiayu to learn more about her husband and see him more like a friend now, rather than an enemy. 🤗The way they get mad at each other already shows how much they actually care for each other, yet they don't want to admit it — or maybe in her case, she doesn't even realise it yet. 😌 But her helping him hide his blindness was all I needed — deceptive together against everyone else... Beautiful! ❤️And why did she tell Mao about Wuyi's blindness? I am not sure if that was smart — best friend or not. Wuyi said no one should know, so I'm not sure if he would want Mao to know... 🤨 I hope this won't bite them back when Mao sees Jiayu falling for Wuyi. I hope Mao stays a true friend to Wuyi till the end, but we all know how everything can turn out when someone can't get what they want. 😟 Also, I think Mao was actually already a little bit jealous when he heard Wuyi had stayed the night with his second consort. And maybe that's the reason why he asked Jiayu if she doesn't hate Wuyi anymore? 🤔In this episode, the pace disappointed me a little bit, because I would have loved to see a more detailed shift between some events. Some characters were realising or learning things offscreen, without even showing us all the information that made them connect the dots. But I guess that's because the focus was mostly on our main characters and how they grew closer. 😔And, hey, she told Wuyi she was an orphan and she remembers Northern Qin men killing her parents... I really want to know who her parents were and if they were anyone of high status? 😩

Rainime I was prescribed both methylphenidate (concerta) and atomoxetine (strattera) in South Korea (but not simultaneously) so I know a bit about this... The episode said they are only for high-risk patients. Not sure what that means. All you really need is an official ADHD diagnosis.ADHD meds do not have a 'focus' effect on those without ADHD... they will actually often make your cognitive skills worse and make you anxious and jittery. Just like excessive caffeine, since methylphenidate is also a stimulant. The only ADHD meds that are fully illegal in Korea are the amphetamine-based ones, such as lisdexamfetamine. The kid was taking straight up meth, though lol - completely illegal everywhere.

The kids should have been careful, and they should work to repay their parents. But they are ALSO victims of a predatory scheme targeting minors. Two things can be true. Admitting that isn't the same as making an excuse. There's a reason gambling is for adults only.
