I loved this older series and can't understand why I didn't find it before. The two leads are just gorgeous.

Because this one provides the most important backstory piece yet (Hint: The story of how ML's mother died.). Very emotionally intense episode.

The final episode, the final time for to hold and be brave to let go the past, PobmekSolar did it together! Watch this and tears just flows down!

It's nearing the end, and I am missing my PobmekSolar so much. Sending little Sun (putting what's behind and moving forward) back and coming back slowly realising the growth with more people who loves Solar, he takes the courage to heal from his past. Just keep watching, this is such a beautiful unforgettable healing process.

This episode delivers what is said to be a reminder to the situations that happened in eps 22 and 23. In eps 24,Chenyi uncle reminded him that the only way to set boundaries is to claim miaojing as his woman. It revealed that chenyi views miaojing as still the naive young girl she was in high school while Miaojing thinks Chenyi is lost in his shadow for being in touch with zhangbin. This is also the eps where Miaojing mother returns to Tengcheng for the upteenth time after disappearing for so long.

Kinda wish she'd put one of those arrows in Murong'Yao's one good foot, though. Nevertheless she was a total boss, making sure her man safely got out of that deathtrap. Sadly, the episode then shifted to the depraved mess that is the Jingxiu royals and of course, the doomed marriage between Xi Yang and Xia Jingshi. Lots of skippable stuff there. It's too painful to watch that mess and so far nothing really plot-interesting is happening there other than to re-inforce just how messed up they are and the disaster that ML's sister has married into. Then there is a mostly-skippable montage of the ML's memories of his friendship with Murong Yao but thankfully that's followed by a nice scene as Fu Yi Xiao comforts her man. Finally, I absolutely loved the reveal about the Emperor after PM Zhuang went on his crazy rant. I was already suspicious after the Empress' stupid rant so wasn't surprised. Ugh, more disgusting Xia emperor behavior - just how far are they going to take this? We already are disgusted by him. No need to really take it any further, please. Finally, episode closes with Fu Yi Xiao is dressed in red & black, ready for war!

This episode was honestly a solid start to the drama! I already know this drama is going to hit me so hard as more and more episodes get released and the storyline progresses. I also love how we spend time in the present and then the past, as we get context as to how Miao Jing and Chen Yi met, as well as how they grew up together. Song Weilong's acting is superb, and so is Zhang Jingyi's. Can't wait to see where this goes!

If I had to choose the most intense episode, it would definitely be Episode 5. I felt like I was holding my breath almost the entire time. The emotional tension was overwhelming from beginning to end. Even the sweet, intimate moments were so natural and beautifully portrayed that I found myself replaying them over and over. They made me smile, blush, and at the same time fear what was coming next. It was an incredible episode.

The Xia family, royals of Jingxiu? Or the Zhuang family in Susha? Because man, both families are pretty messed up. I gotta call out a bit of acting that was special, though, by Ding Jia Wen, as 2nd Prince Feng Chengyang. The way his character reacted when told by his grandfather to become Emperor, standing there, nervous and barely able to comprehend what was happening, with tears running down his cheeks - that was impressive. We finally get the lead couple back together briefly, for an emotional, bittersweet reunion as FL finally gets a chance to warn ML about Murong Yao. Then we get a long sob-story exposition behind Yao's insanity. Unfortunately, instead of truly resolving things, in typical c-drama fashion the ML lets Yao live on. You know he'll cause further trouble down the road.

Episode 3 was an emotional roller coaster. It took me through so many emotions before exploding into one of the most powerful finales I’ve seen. Fourth and Gemini completely exceeded my expectations with their performances, and the final kiss was beautifully shot—tender, emotional, and unforgettable.

If the first episode is this fascinating full of intrigue and mystery, I can only imagine the rest of the series and I hope the writer can sustain the suspense, it’s killing me in a good way.

Episode 2 was emotionally devastating. It pulled me deep into Tanrak’s fear, guilt, and anxiety about sin. Fourth’s performance in the final scene was simply beyond words—his eyes alone conveyed everything. I also love that the series doesn’t spoon-feed every answer, leaving room for different interpretations and meaningful discussions.

wow. The writing is amazing. Mysterious persona with the show reminiscent of “Faust”!or maybe Brad Pitt’s “Meet Joe Black”. Enigmatic and psychological thriller with an amazing soundtrack too boost. The intimate scene was very sensual leaving a lot to the imagination. I just hope no one spoils the rest of the story or at least place a spoiler in their post because I want to wait til the end and hope that my theories are wrong.
