4/5 for continuous buildup

Finally, da shixiong was not a lie! The story still expands, Lifei has a glimpse of the mysteries of the Wuyue court, and arising conflicts surround Xiuyuan who's battling his evil side. Both leads are getting stronger by the day, but their relationship is still in shambles. Although Lifei can't help but worry about Xiuyuan, it would take a real trial for her to be honest with her feelings. Until then, Xiuyuan is eating vinegar...

What an Finale!

I have never seen a better wrap to a show like this. The callbacks were really well-written, and the development of their chemistry was so natural throughout the show that it never felt rushed or forced. It showed genuine character arcs, keeping their initial traits intact but just more reformed and polished. Especially the post-credit scene of Niranpete's journey was what genuinely made me tear up—nothing less than fabulous, a must-watch.

Capitivating Pilot Episode

I never intended to be into a show of this genre, but the first episode was so good that I couldn't help but get hooked on the show since Day 1. The story was well set up, and the acting was fantastic. The chemistry between the main leads, Sky and Nani, is undeniably very good.

well produced

The series appears to be quite well-produced overall. In Episode 1, the focus is mainly on sharing information and building the plot, which can be really helpful for establishing the foundation of the story. The main character has been introduced, but since I don't have much experience with Thai dramas, there's a bit of a struggle for me to differentiate between the characters at this early stage; many of them have a similar style and demeanor, making it challenging to tell who is who at times. Nevertheless, despite this initial confusion, the show is coming across as engaging and intriguing so far. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds and how the characters develop as the series progresses.

Me and my micro crush watched this at 3 am…

Me and my micro crush watched this at 3 am lmao. He said: It was aight, just hella stuff going on and I was just lost. Fake ahh punches, but I guess the plot is there. Okay, and then my review, I liked this episode. It was really cute. I love the whole message with him not wanting to have sex with him because he is treating him like Lyon treated him, and then we turn around and have sex with him. That was a lot. They were really aggressive, and I do not think I have ever seen them like that. Also him grabbing you by the titties? Shit, rewatching that with one hand. I gagged! I am fucking gagged. Oh my lizzle. But yeah. Set to this track, and yeah. It is 3 in the morning and I am tired as hell, so yeah, cool. Micro gave it a 6 or 7 out of 10, and I give it like an 8.5 out of 10. Okay bye!

Unbreakable bond and dangerous trial

As expected, there's yet another obstacle why the Fragrance Bond couldn't be broken — the feelings between the bonded are too strong and mutual. And we know who those two are — Lifei and Xiuyuan. However, Prince Tangzhou looked rather jealous of that reason why the bond can't be broken. And to ensure the growing suspicion, he confirmed to Lenya that he likes Lifei. 👆😔But, oh boy, those masters of the Academy! To make the trial so dangerous? Of course it would reveal everyone's true character at such a moment of crisis... But what if any of them had died? 😯At least we saw how worried Lifei was when Xiuyuan sacrificed himself so she and Prince Tangzhou could finish that spell... The feelings are all there, but she still needs time, which was perfectly shown by how her attitude towards Xiuyuan changed once he was ok again. 🙂

Hopefully things improve

First episode was weird, was it just totally rewritten and different from the pilot? Where was the scene where they passed one another on the street? That was so much better in my opinion. I'm not mad about the coffee shop setting but smelling him on a coffee cup just seems a bit weak, plus where are all the other customers? How did he manage to find him at the end? Was he just driving around with his head out the window sniffing him out?? 🤣 Would've been good to have gotten an initial meeting before going straight into biting. I really hope this picks up because I want to love it! 🤞🙏

Three Stars

subtitles are trash. first ep is a bit exposition. sound production is trash. going for the neck to a forever bound on the first meeting is a bit insane but ok, im down. the teasers in the end are actually so good, im excited. but its giving low budget and rushed production

Guilt

When guilt exposes our true feelings, and exposes our actions. This episode is about managing situations as they spiral and goes beyond one’s control. When action speaks louder than words, then truth is exposed. Barth openly states he is gay but never did Tanrak. As Barth from the beginning lusted for Tanrak, while Tanrak in his need to find his parent’s love would react to any one of gives him his basic need. Is this truly love? Do we really know the meaning of love at a tender young age. Can we differentiate love from lust? Fourth’s acting truly shined as Tanrak creating the depth of emotions. No matter how this story ends, it will be happy depending on how you define your happiness. The Priest plays a significant albeit short role which reminds me of the book Les Miserable where the Priest too plays a pivotal role in the Jean Valjean’s transformation.

Conflict

This is my favorite episode of all. As their love grows so does the conflict of their emotions. My favorite scene is when Joe played by Sea was talking about the seminary. It’s not loving one but loving many. My cousin taught me about his own experience as a Priest, it’s sacrificing your own self which allows you to love your flock. He was in conflict until he chose to give his love to others. As he said, many are called but few are chosen. The episode delve deeper in building their relationship, finally telling the story behind Barry’s anger towards God. The episode is reach the peak of the storyline and here comes the downturn. I noticed Tanrak was wearing a Rosary around his neck, For correctness a Rosary is not a necklace. Like prayer beads from Buddhist monks, a rosary is held during prayers.

Great wrap-up episode.

A very well-paced final two episodes. Still had quite of bit of conflict resolution, 'action and drama' for the first half of the episode to provide a great series crescendo, and then enough time to provide a very satisfying denouement that lays out the post-drama fate of most of the characters.

this is the 2nd BL revolving around the entertainment…

this is the 2nd BL revolving around the entertainment industry & actors, sadly it doesn't paint a pretty picture. here Qing Lang is successful & yet that doesn't mean smooth sailing, if anything he is monitored around the clock - everyone needs to know what he is doing at every given second & others want to dictate what he should be doing at every given 2nd. all this under the guise of caring & supporting him / his career - of course there r also leaches that wanna leach off his success, like Shi Yuhao who don't care if they r dragging him down to their own level or hurting him. ******************************************************bottom line i get why Qing Lang looked so unhappy from the start of this BL in-spite of being surrounded but people that seem so caring & helpful... even that "Sister Lan" might be good for his career but for Qing Lang the human she is bad, she showed that chick that was feeding Shi Yuhao info about Qing Lang's whereabouts with kid gloves - knowing how Qing Lang suffered as a consequence. idk i feel really sad for Qing Lang as there really isn't anyone he can lean on.... well now he has found Chang Yang, but he's lack the power to keep Qing Lang at his side forever. so their get-away was an escape & that will never last forever & this makes this whole ep kinda heart breaking.****************************************************************************the 2nd couple; as much as i wanna root for them idk why Qi Hao Yu is rubbing me the wrong way - there is something about him that i just don't trust, idk why he gives me the shady vibe... but i don't like him & am worried about Han Lu - hope i am wrong.

Lust

Happiness is a touch away and how they both confess their feelings through gestures and body language, subtle eye contact, jealousy. This episode goes deeper into their emotions , as Barth pushes himself physically and Tanrak gives in. This episode also shows how much Tanrak longs for attention since being orphaned at a young age enjoying every time Barth gets in contact with him. His longing grows stronger. The ending was a very powerful scene, giving in to their desires. These two actors presented their characters in a very convincing way. The words “I am not God’s favorite son” were very powerful words. It never said that God doesn’t him them, just not His favorite. Somehow I’ve always felt the same way as well.
