Something to redeem oneself

I thought it would be Lifei's power that would emerge and save the day, but it turned out to be Xiuyuan's... To be fair, I actually prefer it this way, because that gives him something that balances his betrayal a little AND, most importantly, Riyan survived in the end. đŸ„č All of that combined is a good starting point when it comes to him climbing his way back into Lifei's trust. I hope it will take some time, but I already noticed that she can't completely ignore the guy. She gives him an overall hard time, but not hard enough, in my opinion. 😅Zhenyunzi losing his spirit roots as the reward for his greed and underestimating Xiuyuan's "little power" was perfect payback! 👏 But it was very sad to see Shanhua dying after everything Xiuyuan was ready to sacrifice to save him. 😱Also, I don't think they are going to get rid of their Fragrance Bond any time soon. There will always be something that comes in the way, leading me to think that maybe she doesn't want that bond gone all that much. đŸ€š

such a wholesome bunch. what i really love…

such a wholesome bunch. what i really love is that no one pressured, manipulated or gaslit anyone. there was communication & every pair figured what was right for them & moved forward over the obstacle that was the confession - or they didn't let the confession to turn into an obstacle. & love how realistic & pure this whole ep was, it was soothing & heartwarming seeing them be this bighearted & understanding trying to work over their own hang-ups but not disregarding the others feelings. really wholesome - really enjoy this BL (ignore the rating - that's just cause i have to rate this so i can comment - i rate at the end).

Young emotions.

I loved how they portrayed the same emotions through different characters who are all at the same stage of life. Ko Nueang and Ko Song had their little misunderstandings and relationship conflicts, while Augur and Achi shared a sweet understanding built on trust and communication. Then there's August and Tle, whose story beautifully captured the journey from secretly admiring someone to finally finding the courage to confess those feelings. Each character is going through a similar phase in life, but their choices, perspectives, and personalities make their stories feel completely unique. That's what made the series so special, it showed that even when people experience the same emotions, everyone navigates them in their own way.

Overall Good Episode

I am excited for No A story line. That beach scene might be emotional for some, but she shouldn't have begged like that. Nonetheless, that beach boy sparkles her life. Excited for that. Mean while, half the time I felt the episode pace slowed down compared to last two episodes. Hopefully the show might regains its solidity from next episode. Love Park Ji Hyun. I have liked her since "Do you like Brahms?"

the kids tried to save the episode they really did.

the father chose the right time to enter the story because the mother is just aggravating as hell to watch it’s no longer funny she is actively ruining every inch of his life. objectively i liked that as daichi gets more involved in his mother’s conflict that takes him out of center of the class+mates’ drama & have kobayashi finally habe a moment. i really enjoy this friend group also they’re really fun. a bit drained so that’s all i have to say. No actually i have one more thing to say kobayashi’s mother is also terrible but i love her inversing umi a lot. she doesn’t coddle her son she forces him to stand on his owm two feet & is she extreme yes but look at that freak on the poster. only one of them has good intentions.

even though the plot is ridiculous have to…

even though the plot is ridiculous have to admit the chemistry between the mains is perfect & i aint talking about the sexual tension. i like how they r around each other. the give & take the banter is spot on. really easy to forget all the things that aren't done right & just focus on them. so expected the kiss, as the tension ha been building from ep 1 but didn't think they would already jump into bed (guess this my girl brain at work - boys think differently).

Love Should Never Be a Crime

I love this line from Episode 5.“Love is not wrong. God created humans with hearts and feelings.”Being gay can be so hard. You’re judged simply for loving someone, even though you’re not hurting anyone and your love takes nothing away from anyone else. With just one episode left until the finale, I hope we get a Season 2 where they can finally leave everything behind and live the life they truly deserve. A life where love is no longer something they have to hide, but something they can simply live.

Still in denial, yet cautiously moving

I'm still kind of in denial that Princess Lingyun is dead. 😔 But judging by the way Zuidie received her end and what Zhiyao did after, it looks a lot like the closure to that arc... At least he was the one who delivered the killing blow to her and avenged his beloved's death. 👍 But for me, it's so much more bitter than it ever will be sweet. I rooted for them so hard and I honestly feel robbed. 😭I was so worried for Mingxi's life during the fight scene, and I kind of hoped—and maybe subconsciously expected—that Mingyue would sacrifice himself to save his brother. And that's exactly what happened. đŸ„ș That ending I am quite okay with... I just hope Mingxi will now be able to reunite with Ye Li and live the life he dreamed of. đŸ„čHowever, I am still feeling uneasy because he stayed behind at Suixue Pass. Maybe his arc ends with him ensuring Xiuyao survives until the end, even if he has to sacrifice his own life for it? That would be the repayment of two lives to Ye Li, because Xiuyao's life is pretty much equal to, if not even more valuable than hers, in Ye Li's eyes. 😟

A Quiet Yet Captivating Beginning

The first episode doesn't try to impress with big twists or dramatic moments—it simply introduces its world with sincerity, and that's exactly what makes it work. Every scene feels intentional, allowing the characters to breathe instead of rushing the story.Gemini and Fourth immediately draw you in with their effortless chemistry. Even with minimal dialogue, their expressions say so much, making the emotional undertones impossible to ignore. The cinematography is beautiful, the pacing is calm, and the atmosphere feels comforting while quietly hinting that there's much more beneath the surface. It's the kind of premiere that doesn't scream for your attention—it earns it.

as i keep saying Seo I Do isn't the sharpest…

as i keep saying Seo I Do isn't the sharpest tool in the toolbox... or this just bad writing. cause he knows Tae Jeong is a cop, one he is attracted too & one that considers Dong Hwa a close friend. the same Dong Hwa that's held in a dog cage in the basement & Seo I Do didn't make sure to go over the house with a fine tooth comb the sec he knew of who Tae Jeong was?!? even if Tae Jeong didn't come back shouldn't he have made extra sure he didn't leave any evidence behind??? (pretty sure those finger prints r his & not Dong Hwa who was knocked out cold before he was carried into the basement). oh well it is what it is - *******but given everything they both know & need to do & r avoiding doing just cause they r very attracted to each other. how can this have a happy ending?!? idk...

plot

This summer was perfect—a memorable romance that, despite numerous obstacles, ultimately led to lifelong companionship. The ending, with its surprising revelation, highlighted the theme, as if recounting the heroine's experience of unrequited love, from silently admiring someone to gradually seizing implausible opportunities to take the initiative. It truly resonates with one's own youthful romantic feelings. Finally, you have welcomed the never ending summer together.
