Pressing on through the obstacles

Qian Fei replays all the persevering tips from YiFei and pulls an all nighter planning a gal for Shanlifang. Her strategy was a public apology while Ms Fang wanted it for charity to improve company image. He is more than happy to claim what a good master he is and she a good apprentice. 🤣😂 Yi Fei presents Qian Fei’s idea but her removes the apology and polishes some other things. Qian Fei is beyond annoyed that he removed what she considered the core theme of her project. He reminds her to consider the source and that it was changed to accommodate Liao Shi Yu who was doing the hiring. She remained unhappy but did see the wisdom of his words. JingJing is now in the competing ring for the gala, but she was also the bigmouth making a scene with Wang in Shalifang’s lobby. I want her to get the job, but I also want her to learn to stop making big scenes when she’s driven by temper and sense of justice denied. She is a complete train wreck then and she really needs to curb it. 😝Lu ze is having a hard time re entering workforce after having a company. They either see him as unwilling to work under a boss, or if last project a fail what would next project be like. He was the perfect bf encouraging her this time and he is being more pragmatic about his job. Plans are being made for the holiday but Qian Fei was distracted and can’t find a ticket to get home. Her dad wants her to bring bf home. 🤣😂Yi Fei takes her phone and uses his Love Me Love My Voice tone and lowers it to make a more impressive impression on the dad. He does back her up saying he had plans and to take care of himself better. She is very relieved he didn’t go overboard. She tried to get Dang Yu to include Jun in her plans and she declines the notion because of mom. Can’t blame her. Leave that hornet nest be. 😝Yi Fei’s partner is pouting about investors. I really wish YiFei had not interrupted him so he could explain how Liao uses small companies to plump assessments and then tosses them when no longer useful. That would have made him less rebellious about the veto. I think he is now considering LuZe for R&D. Waiting to see next episode. One thing funny was YiFei trying to cook for himself. Her his Love Me Love My Voice skills did not carry over.🤣😂 Jun is hanging out with him instead of parents and giving sensible advice but YiFei wants the scene staged better before his big reveal to Qian Fei. What is also a bit weird is Ms Liao so openly criticizing and shutting up Wang at the meetings publicly, she’s being as rude with him as Qian Fei. That he makes no efforts but a he’s dear attitude puts him on a par with Mr Jun. 😝🙄 Seems Yi Fei came through with a ticket next episode so waiting to see what Qian Fei has to do to get it. 🫣

Ridiculously Fun Episode

Such a contrast to episode 1 where there's a lot of tears and drama. This episode focuses more on how Neen and Runch tries to navigate their relationship and set boundaries due to their impending divorce. It's fun to see them failing and also you can clearly see in certain moments that they still have so much love for each other. I loveeeee bratty Neen and her sole mission to just irritate Kingkamol. It's good to see a daughter in law not trying so hard to get the MIL's approval to the point that they're becoming a martyr. Also, for someone who has a weak alcohol tolerance, Runch can't seem to stay away from alcohol lol. Giving Runch a backbone in the series is such a welcome change. Her standing up to her gossiping subordinates and pushing back to her mom really makes you want to root for her character.

Little acts of service and brewing drama

I did love how Ms Fang countered Liao Shiyu's attempts to get rid of Qian Fei. 👏 However, I wonder who the third party trying to sabotage Shanlifang's reputation is? 🤔 Is it someone Ms Fang has hired? Because she has said before that she wants to see the Qian Fei and Wang Ruohai drama unfold, and as far as I can remember from those investigation episodes, she had some agenda against Shanlifang. 🧐 Or maybe Wang Ruohai is pulling something from behind the scenes himself... time will tell. 👀Yifei was brilliant in this episode—not only did he manage to get tickets for his girl's idol, but he was also non-stop boring all his friends with his blabber about Fei and the things she likes, like that stand-up comedian for example. 🤗😂 I do hope they get together soon or do something that makes my heart leap with joy! 🥰💓And yet again, I have to vent about how terrible Jun's mother is... I am already feeling like an old record there... 🙄 But I did enjoy how Dang Yu said she should talk with her son instead of her about that compatibility... 👏💁‍♀️ However, I suspect the dance studio arc will bring those two closer and the mother will finally come around.

With this episode, I loved how Tanraks journey towards accepting his feeling along. While we saw Tanrak’s journey with lust in episode 2, in episode 3, his other sins also come to the forefront - His jealousy while seeing Barth and cherry together mixed with the feeling that he does not belong there. The scene in the church where he was looking at Barth and Cherry from afar whileslowly feeling like thats how it’s supposed to be and walking away- the rain, mind you, because be left his umbrella for Barth. AND! The most important scene of the whole series! The freaking makeout?!?!Tanak getting a hard on while playing with Both and escaping to hide and Barth asking for permission to invade Tanrak’s space and Tanrak willingly letting in and (I am not God’s most beloved son) This is going straight to the history books. The sexual tension and chemistry was just out of this world.
