Yu Mei I don't even know what to say, becauses it's always getting better and better. I always watch the episode without subtitles first e then I watch again when they are available and I might say the it doesn't get boring watching them without understanding what they are saying, because the acting is so good that just by their reactions you get the idea of what's happening.

The wainting was worth it! It's definitely one of the best GLs of the year (maybe of all times hihi). Lingorm is amazing and I always get mesmerised by them. The first EP is already so captivating, I'm really looking forward for what comes next!

It was a solid first episode; it did a great job introducing the three central characters and the dynamic that will unfold between them, starting with a highly metaphorical opening scene.I really enjoyed the actresses' performances; it is a relief to see them bringing well-layered characters to life after their previous project. The story offers plenty of room to explore various dilemmas, and I believe its execution will forge a strong connection with the intended audience. I also appreciated the pacing and the director's care in preserving the atmosphere of the characters' current situation by placing the scene where they first meet in a post-credits sequence(whereas a more obvious directorial choice might have been to present it as a flashback)

Dikay The episode was so beautiful, merging sadness, comedy, romance, family pressure, work harassment. It was bittersweet between the wives, especially after the drunk part.Yet, the way I laughed in this episode was so sincere and I couldn’t control it. “Laugh till you cry” it’s literally what happened to me.The dynamic among all the characters and the way the story is narrated make it impossible to get bored, once you’re start, you are in so deep, and when the end comes, you’re even shocked and feel like it was too short. As for their debut romance before wedding, putting it at the end of every episode is such a genius move. It doesn’t disrupt the flow and even add those “I miss what we were” feelings. Overall , I love it so much. This series keeps getting Better 🫶

IrenaK I kind of felt embarrassed about Jun Cheng's parents. 🤦♀️ Yes, I get they wanted to understand what Dang Yu's qualities and other whatnots were, but could they not let their son make those decisions about whether she's good or not by himself? But like Yifei said—at least she saw a different side of Jun, which has led to their relationship moving a little bit further. 🤗Yifei and Fei were kind of cute in this episode, except... I didn't get the ending. Why didn't he come to eat? Did I zone out a little while watching and miss a scene? 🤔

JOJOyay Very funny, I was laughing a lot even though it was very unrealistic how long it took for Win to realize that she didn't live alone. The leads are so hot and cute and I am very excited for the upcoming episodes!

I kind of expected there might be an argument between Jingjing and Lu Ze about his work situation and him hiding it from her, but, oh boy, I didn't expect that it would end with them splitting up... or whatever that can be called. 🥺💔 She gave the ring back because he chose his "baby" (his work) over her—a person who could have helped him through this, both morally and maybe even financially. 🙅♀️ Now he's sitting at Yifei's father's house waiting for the meeting with his last-chance investor... If Yifei is on his way to the same meeting, that could turn into something interesting! 👀Ruohai finally made a somewhat okay choice by letting Shiyu give him the money as a loan. It's much better than just having that money gifted to him. That way, at least he can avoid the feeling that he's just using her. But we all know that he actually is just her trophy boyfriend—like a doll she's bought to show everyone and keep at her side. Their relationship feels quite stiff. 😬I loved seeing Yifei finally doing some chores, even if he only did them after throwing tantrums and whining... baby steps in his progress! 🤗 A few more episodes and I hope it will become something natural for him. But I do love how he secretly continues to pull all the strings he can to help Fei. He's not telling her and he's not asking for credit—yet... 😏 The bedroom scene was so funny and cute! 🥰😂

Nong neen vs mother in law but in comedic way is such fresh way to deliver. Drunk p'runch is more talkative I just love when how convincingly lingling played a drunk role. At the end of every episode they are showing runchneen flashbacks is such a great touch this series. 10/10.

I have to say, Ling absolutely killed that drunk scene. 😭 It was so ridiculously funny. She reminded me of those drunk uncles who come home, ramble nonstop to their wives and demand to be pampered. The camera work during the scene where Runch collapsed onto the ground was so immersive that I honestly felt drunk with her. Orm was incredible as well. Her acting felt so effortless like it never looked like she was acting at all. And the part where Neen pulled out those frogs just to tease Kingkamol had me laughing so hard. 😂And I have to give the production a 10000000 point for one particular detail. The scene where Neen topped Runch. Most love scenes usually keep all the lights on so everything is clearly visible, but this one felt genuinely realistic. They turned the lights off and everything happened in the dark, just like how it would in real life. I loved that choice cause it made the scene feel so much more intimate and authentic.This episode still gave me so many laughs and butterflies, but it also feels like the real drama is about to kick in starting next week. I’m just going to enjoy the ride one episode at a time.

KJ2025 We watch as Ye Li buries all residents of Lishan Academy including herself. 💔😭 She does not want to live with all of them gone. We don’t know how long she laid in her own grave before her will to live overrode her grief. Her Gpa appears before her admonishing her to get up and warm herself. He reminds her of the monkeys and to never visit this side of the mountain again. As she leaves, her memories of those buried go with her to survive on the other side. It takes us back to the attack on the Prince where even the youngest of scholars was not spared. The official sent was visibly shaken as he took in what happened. The empty grave with Ye Li’s memorial by it and all the rest with overgrowth showing significant time passage where Ye Li survived alone. He gives his account to the Empress Dowager and she appears shaken. But as the past accounts for itself, it showed a systematic effort to undermine and then oust the Emperor. The way was paved with the blood of innocents that did not agree with Guo Jin’s rebellion. She confided in Ye Li’s mother and Consort Qin, persuading Ye Li’s mother to find the edict that would have saved Prince Wen. We see her argue with the Queen Dowager at being betrayed and costing the lives that were supposed to be saved. After ‘losing’ the edict Guo Jin imprisoned the scholars in their own school and then magnanimously saved Prince Din and allowed JingLi to stay if he presented himself unfit to rule. Her poet that assisted in betraying the scholars and people found himself betrayed and killed. Much later the Marquis met the same end. She unapologetically tried to put herself on the throne and when that could not happen she put her son there, being sure to undermine him so it looked like he needed her guidance to rule. As the truth unfolds the public outrage is being softened by having Queen Dowager leave the palace to go to a place of healing. He is being pressed to take the throne from his mother and whether she really has brainwashed him into thinking she was needed for all decision making or he chose to have others think that, is unclear. He finds the deaths in Lishan a pathetic waste but does he think his mother accountable for the illness that spread through the school and locking them in in the first place? Ye Li has shared her dolls with Xiu Yao and the only one that remains to be dealt with is Guo Jin. She has promised to not act rashly and they are aware she has been removed from palace under the pretense of rehabilitating her health. Jingli has taken over the defense mansion thanks to a painter’s in depth map. It is unclear what plans he has. He knows Ye Li is in the mountain, but I am curious why his man did not report Prince Ding’s location. I didn’t think that was a secret. There is a brief scene with the Han brothers. MingXi definitely does not want to work with Jingli. His allegiance to YeLi is made quite clear. When his brother says he will handle things, I wonder if he can survive the fallout his rescue of the Su witch will cost him. The last players are bing positioned to finish the chess game between them. The will of the people vs personal grudges. Will the voice of reason manage to weave through all these masterminds to achieve a balance between palace rule and protecting the people? It’s a stunning impact of the levels of betrayal for the edict alone. Best friend, family, husband, mother in law, school colleague. Ye Li witnessed it all and the horror that ensued when those in Lishan were isolated to be killed off by another scheme. One that even the master physician could not treat in time. I do wonder what she gained with her demand of Ye Li and Prince Ding betrothal. Just a way to be sure they were kept weak and dependent? The Ye family silent about their assist with the edict by having the girls married off to the Princes? Was she looking for a fill in for the Marquis because he got too corrupt and greedy? Her role in things isn’t that much of a surprise but it will be interesting to see how things fall into place with her son being forefront instead of behind her. Waiting to see what happens the second time Ye Li comes down the mountain.

estar after telling her everything Ren left the decision up to Makoto & she was butt-hurt that he didn't tell her what to do. fits her pushover personality too the tea & this whole ep was a snooze fest & sadly Makoto was the boring predictable doormat from start to finish. there were moments where she stood-up for herself & made me hope she was changing & coming into her own - but i expected too much, she is who she is & she loves herself & her life that way - not my cup of tea. well happy ending for the main couple & everything worked out perfectly for them. personally this was ok - it started off interesting but pretty fast any interest i had fizzed out into nothing - the end - the main plus this short!

Well, they shouldn't have kept Lu Ze's work problems a secret. Then maybe our fiery Jingjing wouldn't have acted so impulsively. 🤨 Ruohai will definitely be in trouble with his girlfriend because now she will know he lied. 🤭Jun Cheng and Dang Yu finally had a somewhat normal conversation, and at least he knows now what to improve in his personality if he wants to pursue her. However, his parents—though I think his mom more than his dad—are still such snoops. I just can't. 🫣🙄And I do hope that with Yifei's smart advice, Lu Ze can do better with his business. But I wasn't entirely sure if he could catch up with what Yifei was telling him. 🤔

Fantastic cinematography and right off the bat the casting up & down the ensemble looks exemplary. Zoey Meng is so great at projecting a regal, commanding presence so the early scenes of her commanding her household are so cool and then, even as her world crumbles, her ability to hold her composure feels authentic to the character. And then kudos to the young actress, Liu Jia Xi, playing the young Shou Gu. She has the mind and memories of her adult self and quickly starts to project the same calm decisiveness. The mood set by the cinematography, costumes, lighting and effects is intense and dramatic, but not overwhelming. Just enough to establish the doom that awaits if fate is not changed.
