"If God teaches us to love, but we aren't allowed to love one another, then what is the point of God existing in this world?"As someone who grew up in the Church and is still Catholic to this day, I had to learn on my own that religion was built by humans and, because of that, it is bound to make mistakes.I also had to learn that a beautiful, sincere, and genuine love could never be considered a sin by God.For me, learning these things simply meant becoming a better person, someone who truly lives by what God actually teaches us: to love one another. But for Tan, it's so much more than that. He genuinely believes he's living in sin. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of believing that God would stop loving him just because he fell in love with another boy. That's why this story hurts so much. No one should ever have to grow up believing they have to choose between their faith and the ability to love. If God is love, then love should never be the reason someone feels unworthy of His love.

ML might be a bit overprotective but otheriwse they're very cute together. FL's cousin is fr so freaking attractive (looks) and I didn't know that I've already seen her before in Tastefully Yours! Excited for the next episode!

Even more character introductions! I am getting lost with all those people. šAt least we know that one of the travellersāYe Ye was his name?āis someone from the same place our ML is. āļøI didn't realise in the previous episode that the fox spirit had hidden inside the FL. At least it's clear now why the ML is so persistent about catching herāhe wants to get that fox spirit out of her to save his brother. But I don't think for one bit that the angry old guy will treat the brotherāhe just wants the fox for himself and is using our ML. šThe ML has some very strong powers, and, to be fair, I think those blocked meridians actually hide a very strong power inside the FL as well. 𤨠But I might be wrong, of course, and she's just a witty young lady... But thenāwhat was the deal with those divine beads on her wrists? š¤ I believe they are something unique because they piqued the ML's interest in the previous episode.P.S. Damn, I should start memorising some of those character names.... š¤¦āāļø

Spoilers ahead:This episode hurt. Tanrak's pain was hard to watch but we all knew this moment would come. Seeing Tan burn the notes, the flowers, and in the very place where their love story began - I don't mind admitting that I shed some tears. The Catholic guilt runs deep, but that's how they keep you in servitude. Guilt. Fear. Eternal damnation. The painting that shows the rocky road to heaven and the sinners burning on either side has been constantly shown throughout the series. At the start, Tan saw it as a sign of the righteous path that he was on. Then he fell in love with Barth and the painting became meaningless. Today, he stood in front of it in fear. Let's also take a moment to process the scene when Barth calls his home phone just to hear his mother's voice on an answer machine. The flashback to happy times; the empty house; the dying flowers. Heartbreaking. As for Kongdech and his comments to Tan about betraying him, and asking if he didn't want to want to be with his parents in heaven anymore - he made my blood boil. And while Father seemed understanding, he spouted the same nonsense: Where is this love leading you? You can always repent. Their rhetoric of blaming and shaming is so typical of religion and it's why it really has no place in a modern society where people can love whoever they choose to love. I'm so scared that the first scene in episode 1 with Barth going to the church in going to be him seeing Tan in his priestly robes. I want then to run away together and leave the ignorance behind them. I want them to have the joy of loving each other in a place that doesn't judge them. I want a happy ending.

The Air finally delivers the story we've been waiting for, with Becky Armstrong shining, meaningful character development and a mystery that finally begins to click into place. Unfortunately, frustrating action choreography and questionable production choices keep Episode 7 from reaching its full potential. We break down what worked, what missed and why we're heading into the finale with equal parts hope and hesitation - https://bit.ly/3T6LNp2

I am starting this without any expectations, except from the poster, I realised it would be a costume drama. And it turned out to be a fantasy one! š«¢ It's been a few months without a fantasy drama on my ongoing watchlist. Good thing I chose to check this one out, then! š¤So much happened in this episode, confusing me to the bone. 𤯠We got an injured nine-tailed fox, some very aggressive old man who wants that fox at all costs, a missing master, a dying brother, an Academy that is hard to get into, some assassins, a princess, a bunch of travellers, and a very chaotic duoāour leadsāsomehow tangling it all together. š¤©š Need to check more episodes to see where this goes, but this being the fantasy genre alone could make me keep watching! āØ

Based episode one I like how interesting the plot seems to be going and the actors are very good at conveying the emotions of the characters and you can visually see how well the show of what the person is feeling and thinking

I read the novel, and although I found it sad that there weren't many kisses or romantic moments, I liked the character development. You can really feel Blew's anguishāboth over the situation and regarding her feelings for Lomābut in the series, you don't feel anything at all. Lom is no different; watching them is agonizing rather than romantic.

Isnt this supposed to be a gl? Where“s the romance? The direction of this series was very poor, even though the last episode was good. Lom lost all his characteristic happiness and became a melancholic person. And Blew was always bland. Disappointing.

I'm low-key irritated as fuck. This show, I have a lot of feelings about it, and I don't, I like, hate it, but at the same time, I don't, but I do, but I don't. This final episode, low-key bullshit. The side couple, the guy goes to Korea for about three minutes, comes back, decides his entire plot line. And everything that has led up to this, he really doesn't wanna do that, and instead he wants to teach dance at a ball. What? That's called Magic Moon, which is the name of the show. Also, they were trying to do a sequel kind of special episode with that ending thing. I don't wanna see that. I really don't. I don't wanna see a sequel, I wanna see a special episode. We need to end this fuck-ass show. Like, I don't know what we're doing. Um, you don't know. Our main couple... low-key bullshit, the dad died, or the grandmother died. And then I'm like, okay, what are we doing now? And now they're both gonna go to the master's school together, even though one's in architecture and one's in business. Um, we don't know where they're going to master's school. They didn't mention it. Um, also, yeah, so... I don't know why we couldn't just, like, make up and then, like, do whatever special we wanted in episode 10, but no, we hate ourselves, and this show's ass, and the actors are very aware of that. I think the actors did a fine job, it's just the plot was really bad, so it's not their fault, but they did a good job, but other than that, but no. Like, I would love to see them in, like, other shows together, because they both have good chemistry, but... Just not in a season two of this terrible goddamn show. So yeah, I'm gonna go write the review and probably hate on this dumbass fucking show. Okay bye!

Episode 5 gave us not just one but two kissing scenes, and it was not imagination. One was the lollipop scene and the other was the couch scene. That couch kissing scene was incredibly intense. The way Jay kissed Sun, undressed him, eat his ear, gently teased his nipple, and leaned in close on the couch created so much chemistry between them. You could see the emotions building through their expressions and body language, and for a brief moment, it felt like Sun was into it and he let his guard down before pulling himself back together. That hesitation only made the moment feel even more emotionally charged, highlighting the strong attraction and unresolved tension between them. Then, just as the scene reached its emotional peak, the girl walked in and interrupted them. It was such frustrating timing because it completely broke the atmosphere and left the moment feeling unfinished. The biggest reveal came at the end of the episode when Sun finally learned that Jay is Director Arthur. The preview for the next episode also suggests that Jay has realized Sun is the Pink Teddy from years ago after recognizing his voice. Looking back, Jay's earlier flirtatious behavior and personal questions make much more sense. Now we have to wait 700+ years for next episdoe.

The Emperor now takes his place and does his best to right the wrongs done to Lishan scholars. This includes recognition to Ye Li that was a bit disputed in the court but upheld after he explained his position. This meant that the trustworthy steward of Shende shop now holds an official position so there is a quest to find a store manager to take his place. Mr Tang is the best candidate and Xiu Yao is not enthused with the handsome choice, 𤣠He thinks there is something off seeking a position far away from his own familyās holdings. He expects trouble from him if hired. The prince is ever present for med checks and household stewardship. Ye Li gently hints that he might want to go back to work.𤣠I was expecting something different than business as usual from the Ding household after time in Lishan. The general of Suixue pass has died under mysterious circumstances. It is agreed that a capable general would not be easily killed by a stable hand. There is a request from the court to send Prince Ding there and he is still deciding. His nephew overhears and tells his mother. She decides to do some meddling with the Ding family and it remains to be seen if her efforts will be appreciated. She has given the gift of Nanny Zhu to their household to help take care of things. While Xiu Yao gets soup, Ye Liās way of living is being turned upside down. This is probably how Xiu Yao felt when Ye Li arrived at the palace and invaded his personal space. 𤣠Ye Liās snacks, meals and living quarters are all under siege by the eagle eye of Nanny Zhu who is removing all things detrimental to Ye Liās health. When her flowers are moved and sheās kicked out of the area for sneezing, Iām sure Ye Li wanted to say something. For now she is staying quiet and obedient. So after all these arrangements, I donāt think that was calming soup the Prince received. I think Ms Wen is urging the couple along to give her a niece or nephew. She may feel a baby on the way will help Ye Li deal with Xiu Yaoās absence if he chooses the military post. Mr Tang is being followed to see where he goes after work hours. Apparently he is hiding from family to have trysts with his girl. š¤£š«£Here Prince and Princess Ding create a similar situation to disguise Ye Liās spying, š¤£šSister Ning and Uncle show up for some family time. Here the uncle is happy to see his nieces getting along and even offers Ning a job. Ye Li encourages Ning to look after the families rather than just collecting rent. She wanted Ning to understand the people are more important than the money long term. Ning even offers for Ye Li to stay with her in future hard ships come. Ye Li might visit if no flute or guqin playing involved. š¤£š guess the business as usual episode was to show Ye Li is getting past her past, but I would have liked seeing snuggle time and/or a direct chat with Emperor rather than Guo Jin heading to Ye Liās momās grave site and the invasion of Nanny Zhu. Jing Liās plot is about to unfold and I would have liked intel from spy Feng and update from Gu. Maybe next episode when it looks like JingLi makes an appearance.
