Insane
This movie had me itching my chin out of confusion the whole time, there were so many freaking plot twists and things happening that it just made it so confusing. But it was sooo good, the suspense and feeling of dread that get for the main character is honestly insane, plus the acting of Jong seo (yeongsook) she plays the psycho part so well its insane. The fact that seoyeon is now most likely stuck in a never ending loop of switching between realities is honestly so scary, and I feel bad for her. She got terrorized and tortured for just trying to help out someone else, which to some extent I feel bad for yeongsook since she was emotionally abused but nonetheless that isn't an excuse for her psychotic behavior. To end this off I wanna say that this was such an amazing and entertaining movie, I wanna give it 100/100 but i was chin itching too muchWas this review helpful to you?
Hijack 1971: Not Just the Plane, My Sanity Got Hijacked Too
Missed it in theaters and honestly? Biggest regret 😭 The tension was SO REAL bro I was literally yelling at the hijacker like “CAN YOU NOT?!?” Yeo Jin Goo as the villain?? Slayed. I hated him… but also cried for him. Complex king behavior 😭Story’s tight, fast-paced, no boring bits. Sung Dong Il = pilot dad of the year. Chae Soobin… love u but STOP ASKING QUESTIONS IN EMERGENCIES 😭 You did help tho so forgiven 💅
Flight attendants? Slay. Passengers? Surprisingly not annoying (thank god). BUT THE COPILOT — Ha Jung Woo, sir, you EAT every role. Zero flop era. Acting? On another planet. I clapped. I cried. I saluted ✈️
Also based on a true story?! I was not ready for the feels. RIP real-life copilot 🕊️💔

Some movies are made with Heart.... and "The Way Home" belongs to that category
Some movies make you speechless, the beauty and soul of the movie can't be described in words. This particular movie belongs to that kind. You can't forget the one who played the role of grandmother.I truly regret that i could only had the privilege to watch just 3 movies of this film maker Lee Jeong Hyang. Don't know why she didn't making movies anymore after 2011, also there is no more new informations available about her in the internet. Anyway I truly hope, if she could see this review. I truly thankful to you for giving this kind of a movie as a viewer. Truly it's a big shame for us to not got much movies from you though u will always remembered and loved for your movies. intense ethnic barriers & commonalities is not for the faint hearted
D.O. is incredible & the whole movies is Brilliantly done; great dancing, well acted, But no happy ending. The fault is not in the movie, but in that it was not a movie for me. I am the wrong audience for this very serious story . The trauma that the characters faced will haunt me & perhaps it is meant to be that way, but I am unable to be pragmatic about such things. I would have passed on this important but searing raw portrayal of ethnic barriers & commonalities. I can only imagine how meaningful this is to Koreans, for whom this is recent past for . While I loved the dancing & grew fond of the characters, the intensity of the drama was too much for me....if I had known I would not have watched it because once seen, such things can not be forgotten.(will give me nightmares)Was this review helpful to you?

Not light hearted. Has a good bit of melodrama
(has same actress as my girlfriend is a 9 tailed fox, which is why I watched it)Though Shin Min-a steals every scene she is in. This is not a light hearted film, but a drama where Shin Min-a does a good bit of agonizing , waiting & crying. Having said
that, it's Still, very enjoyable. It's hard to grasp why Seun-beom Ryu is so insecure about his looks (scar is not disfiguring) & so the premise is kind of ridiculous. I was not impressed with his selfishness in his self sacrificing. Has a happy ending

story of deceit, manipulation & revenge
This would have been better if they had made it longer than 1 hour 28 minutes because they don't take enough time to show WHY the guy is such a "catch" (OK he's rich & supports stray dogs, but still; he's a womanizer fixated on a model, though neither one of them is faithful to each other). Nor do they really develop the romance .Listed as a :Comedy /Romance, it is really neither but rather a story of deceit, manipulation & revenge. The story begins & proceeds with a seemingly generic Cinderella story until it gets to a point where you see that Cinderella is not who you & the other characters think she is. Then it becomes heartbreaking. The story twist may be difficult for some viewers to accept because family & loyalty to family at the cost of one's own interests & happiness is what drives the main character.There IS a happy ending but the end kiss scene is a mess as the guy initially misses her mouth but then proceeds to devour her, ( not in a sizzling first kiss way but rather in an unromantic " will suck you into my vortex & inhale your soul way") . Still, the movie is not a bad waste of time, it just could have been better.

Brilliant plot with gory violence
This drama has a Brilliant plot & excellent lead acting, BUT it's also got alot of Graphic gory violence. This ended up being a turn off. The End twist is awesome is awesome. fun action scenes, but story is problematical
watched on Kocowa. Park Sung Woong is in his comfort zone here as it is not a stretch from his character personality in Man to Man or Unlock my Boss. Jung Jin Young's action sequences are fun to watch. Extremely bland & boring
purchased on amazon & it was a waste of money & time. Just really bland.Lee Seung Gi is usually fun to watch, but he really didn't shine here. It felt like they just were out to make money off his star power & had shrunk a series into a rice wafer that just melted on your tongue. Set looked great, costumes were decent. Over all acting was O.K. it just got boring fast. Badly written female lead was so boring. Some VERY cringy dialogue & scenes about lower body hair and Joseon era instructional books (with pictures) on intimacy . I wanted to like it,but would not recommend it , even if you're just showing up to see Lee Seung Gi i partially shirtless. His fight scenes were mostly so close up, it felt like he was doing nothing

Cobbled together story, Jung Il Woo simply decorative
OST was really bad. Alot of computer game electronic music. It was irritating & distracting. I watched this because of Jung Il Woo , but his part was simply decorative. Because of the OST , the production quality & humor, this movie felt more like it was made in early 2000. The story was badly cobbled together , the transitions were odd & the humor fell flat for me. No as bad as it seems
I dont think the movie is as bad as everyone is saying, from what i watched from Japanese movies, specially the older ones, they always have the same troop in their school genera (stupid/ shy fl & bad/ popular/ careless ml) but im surprised by the dynamics of the characters, the fl is very funny and straightforward, she might be delusional at times and day dreaming of love, but arent all girls at that age think of? The ml is clueless with some trauma but he really cares for the fl, some might say there wasn’t proper build up, but i think it was pretty clear at the end and it didn’t need to drag further. My favorite character of all was the best friend, just loved how she was brutally honest with fl, yet concerned about her choices when it came to dating.i would say it might have been better if she ended up with 2ml, but then i thought maybe this was karma for all the girls he treated badly, and he learned how it is to love properly. As for the ml i dont think he really deserves her because he kinda started all of the mess, but still for the sake of the fl i will ship them, he might not be the best but at her heart he is and that is enough for me.
All in all, this movie might need some polishing in some areas, but i like how imperfect it is, not all stories end the way we desire them to be even in real life and this story depicts the love of the youth and how innocent and pure it could be, it is a good watch and really deserves a chance.

A mess
humorous, but I never could understand why he broke up with his girl friend to begin with, the reason they gave seemed lame. Some of the humor was "off color". a gay car, woman getting larger chest, & in the beginning where a guy runs around in his cartoon briefs is not something I wanted to see.I was almost into the happy ending only to find that it really wasn't, it was just dumb.The guy finally gets the girl, but even though they could have just said :"oh well we're in a wedding venue, let's just switch grooms" they don't so basically even though the guy says he loves the girl & can't live without her (and they've been dating , how many years ?) it doesn't occur to him to propose & marry her ? If he was so desperate/lovesick as he said he was he should have married her on the spot.Was this review helpful to you?
forgettable but re watchable
There were a few things that I didn't like but over all, I really liked the concept & I enjoyed it. I would probably rewatch it again, (after a year). The guy seemed a bit old for the girl but once you get over that it's fun. Odd. a comedy for certain tastes, but not mine. Clever premise, but idiotic. Unconvincing
I like the cast but the evil prosecutor got too much screen time. some things were over the top : when you hit someone with a 2x4 board, full force, on the shins- repeatedly, legs will get broken, so walking away from that gets less interesting for me. When the whole reason for revenge is to avenge your father, who died because he did crooked things for crooked people, it's hard to feel all in sympathy/empathy.
