Drags On/Pointless Filler Scenes
I thought because it had a solid casting that would be worth the watch, but I was wrong. It was dragging so badly I kept falling asleep trying to watch it. There are so many unnecessary sexual scenes that add NOTHING to the plot, it’s just awkward to sit there and watch it. There was absolutely no reason to devote that much time to the FL dancing outside with her tits out, as it also adds NOTHING to the story.I don’t even care if the ending is a “masterpiece”, the first half was so bad it’s not worth pushing through.

What I loved the most is how he conveys the tension between Jae-young and Chu Sang-woo—the mix of irritation, attraction, and curiosity. The chemistry between the two leads is incredible, making every glance and subtle gesture feel meaningful.
Visually, the movie is stylish and polished, with a modern aesthetic that fits perfectly with the university setting and the characters’ lifestyles. Beyond the romance, Semantic Error explores the clash between two completely different personalities who end up connecting in a way neither of them expected.
If you enjoy BL stories with great acting, solid storytelling, and characters that genuinely make you feel something, Semantic Error is definitely a must-watch. And Park Seo-ham completely steals the show.

“Friendship or First Love? A Bittersweet Coming-of-Age Tale”
I am heartbroken and slightly traumatized by the ending of the movie. However, I wouldn’t place all the blame on the ending itself, because I had already sensed what was coming through the ongoing struggles in Ann’s life and Jane’s journey of trying to understand her feelings and herself throughout the film. This movie portrays the coming-of-age theme through the characters of Ann and Jane, who come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Through Ann's character, I deeply felt the suffering of an individual growing up in poverty. There was a restlessness and uncertainty in teenage Ann’s eyes that made my heart ache — even in moments when she was simply living in the present. I could feel the weight of her life in every scene, especially the constant anxiety about money and survival. The fear of what might happen if there were no roof over one’s head was ever-present. To make things worse, her mother’s gambling habits added to her misery and made life even more difficult for Ann and her siblings.
Though Jane did not face economic hardship like Ann, she experienced a quiet kind of suffering as she struggled to understand her feelings and identity. She represented a typical, confused teenager—unsure about her sexual identity and the difference between romantic and platonic love. The film doesn’t clearly show, or perhaps I couldn’t fully grasp, whether Jane’s feelings for Ann were romantic or platonic. However, it was clear that Ann loved Jane romantically, especially in the intimate scene where tears streamed down her face after hearing Jane’s confused response. But from some scenes where Jane was deeply admiring Ann's beauty and talent, her face seemed like "she was falling in love like an autumn leaf ". Not only those scenes, but also the ring scene, Jane’s concern for Ann’s future, and her painful longing for Ann revealed that Jane’s caring feelings went beyond friendship.
Overall, I experienced the playful spirit of teenage life — the mischievous moments, the warmth of having like-minded friends, and the escape into fantasy (when Ann and Jane lose themselves watching the luxurious floating restaurant from afar). The film’s gentle slice-of-life storytelling, combined with a bittersweet touch of reality, made my viewing experience truly memorable. THANKS -.-

A dull remake, but at least Toni and Pepe add some color to it.
When it comes to film remakes, there's always a level of expectation that comes with revisiting a classic. However, not all remakes live up to the hype. In the case of this remake, the film falls a bit short of expectations.Toni Gonzaga and Pepe Herrera are undoubtedly talented actors, known for their versatility in both dramatic and comedic roles. However, even the best acting can only take a film so far. The direction and storyline of the remake are somewhat lackluster, leaving much to be desired in terms of creativity. While the film may not be a carbon copy of its predecessor, it also fails to bring anything significantly new to the table.
While there are elements of local humor sprinkled throughout the film, it doesn't quite hit the mark in terms of fully embracing the culture and nuances of the Philippines. Viewers may find moments to enjoy in the film, but overall, it may leave them wanting more in terms of a truly localized experience.
Overall, the remake turns out to be rather dull. While the charismatic duo brings some much-needed color to the film, it's not enough to save it from its shortcomings. For fans of Toni and Pepe, the remake may be worth a watch simply for their performances. However, for those looking for a memorable and impactful cinematic experience, this remake may not be the answer. It's a movie to enjoy in the moment, but one that won't leave a lasting impression.

An unexpectedly brilliant adaptation
As a fan of the anime i was very pleasently surprised by this movieWhat started out looking like it would be just a fun and cheesy rom-com flick ended up masterfully bringing this micro-world to life
Really like that they included scenarios from both Cells At Work and Cells At Work: CODE BLACK, it felt like a kind of "best of" of the anime
Getting to see the humans these cells are inhabiting was also a nice touch and brought both some hilarious and heartfelt moments to the screen
Though the movie does take some twist from the anime, it also does a great job staying faithful to the source material with it's world building and charcter developement

Flashy but hollow
It's a mixed bag to a very serious degree, they're going for extreme cult comedy that even the main arc itself is about fighting a religious cult leader, paired together with characters that acquired superhuman abilities due to some organ transplantation mythology. Most of the time the storyline was quite witty but also consistently dumb, one of the better aspects is the chemistry between the actors and their charismatic acting as they liven up the characters. The cgi part though is literally the weakest thing in this movie, they just don't look realistic on screen, whether intentionally or not, the unrefined graphics are sadly quite distracting to look at.Was this review helpful to you?

Low Budget, Big Impact!
I’ve seen a lot of monster movies over the years—including several versions of Godzilla—but this one really stood out to me. What amazes me the most is how Japan keeps making powerful and memorable Godzilla films, even with smaller budgets compared to Hollywood. And yet, they always manage to deliver more heart, better storytelling, and real creativity. The visual effects were honestly so good—especially for a movie that didn’t have a huge budget. Right from the start, the tone was intense and gripping. Usually, in monster movies, the creature shows up halfway through, but here, Godzilla appears early on, which kept me excited and locked in the whole time.
What made this even more interesting was the setting. Instead of the usual modern-day timeline, they chose to set it in post-war Japan. That choice added something special to the film—it made it feel fresh and gave it a deeper emotional layer. You really feel the pain, loss, and trauma the characters are carrying, and it turned the movie into something more than just a typical monster story. It became a story about survival, healing, and facing your past.
I think one of the best parts of the film was the character development. Shikishima, a former kamikaze pilot, was such a strong character. Watching him go from dealing with guilt and fear to stepping up and doing the right thing was really moving. His connection with Noriko and Akiko—who basically became like his family—was so heartwarming. I loved seeing how they supported each other. It gave the movie a softer, more human side that really balanced the darker moments.
The acting was great, too. The leads especially did such a good job—you could really feel the emotions in their performances. Now I totally get why the movie got such good reviews. It deserves it.
And that ending? Total surprise. I didn’t expect Noriko to survive Godzilla’s atomic breath, but she did—and now I can’t stop thinking about that weird mark on her neck. It definitely feels like there’s more to her story, maybe even something supernatural. I really hope they explore that in a sequel. It’s a small detail, but it adds so much mystery and potential.
Overall, this movie was such an amazing experience for me. It had everything—action, emotion, great characters, and a story that stays with you. Whether you’re a longtime Godzilla fan or just getting into it, I totally recommend watching this one.

You are not my type
10-12 minutes of this short movie passed in a blink of an eye. We have a guy and a girl on a Sogeting - arranged date. They are nothing like each other, but somehow, something happens between them. Me too, if I was a guy I wouldn't stay with this girl and if I was a girl I wouldn't choose this guy. Yet, the movie shows how we can all bring blessings to each others and how first impression is not a real representation of a person. At the end, this is not a love story, just a glimpse into all of us humans, of where we are, in grey, hoping for a little bit of blue.

Dark and well acted, but storytelling did not manage to keep my interest
I think I was expecting too much from this movie...The cast and the poster with its dark vibe picked my interest: on those aspects I was not disappointed. The whole misfits family aspect is my fave part of the film but the storytelling felt flatter than I would have expected given the context in which the characters are evolving. The beginning was ultra gripping but then strangely enough as the action was ramping up, the pacing felt more and more sluggish to me.The whole cast does a very good job. Especially the two main actresses with Kim Hye Soo and Kim Go Eun nailing the dark and twisted dynamic between them. The production value was good, the atmosphere is really gritty and dirty. The viewer can truly feel how rough it is for the characters.
I would recommend this movie for people that like dark and twisted movie. If you enjoy story like "Hwayi: A Monster Boy", I think you could enjoy it. I personnaly liked "Hwayi: A Monster Boy" much much more but I can definitely see some interesting parallel between those two movies with the common thematic of found family evolving in the darkness (with dire consequences as they are part of criminal activities). It is definitely the most gripping aspect of the "Coin Locker Girl" with also the great cast. Too bad the pace and the storytelling did not hold up to its dark premise.

A heartbreaking and inspiring movie
I was not expecting this movie to be such a punch in the gut. The writing was tight, the pacing was excellent and if I would have liked a longer epilogue and to spend a bit more time outside of the plane, I must say that I was properly captivated (and in distraught) for the full duration of the film. It managed to say so much in a relative short amount of time. It featured an heroic character as well as a pitiful and hateful villain. And the fact that it was inspired by real events is giving it a bitter note with a long lasting impact. The acting was excellent. I love Yeo Jin Goo and here again, he is brilliant, portraying a role that could have really been just one note and instead giving it nuance and perspective. Ha Jung Woo is definitely up to par and does not disappoint as well. Both brought me to tears, when I was just expecting thrills and action, I got very emotional. The production was really solid : all the historical aspects of air flight from that era in time was really interesting and well made. Action sequences were intense and very believable. The soundtrack was not overly present but very fitting for the epicness and dramatic of the plot.
I would strongly recommend this movie if you are looking for very well acted and emotional action story. It has a lot of nuances in addition to a lot of intense moments, and it will definitely keep you on your toes.

No justice for weak people
Just watched Silenced (2011), and now I believe even more that there's no justice in this world for the weak. This movie hit me hard—it's heartbreaking to see how people in power can abuse, silence, and destroy lives, while the victims are left with nothing but pain and fear. It hurts even more knowing this isn’t just fiction—this really happened. And in the end, none of the victims got the justice they deserved. No happy ending. Just quiet suffering.I also read from some news that after the film was released, it caused public outrage and led to the case being reopened. But still, it doesn’t erase the fact that the victims have to live with that trauma for the rest of their lives. Some of them never even made it through. It’s painful, it’s unfair, and it leaves you questioning the kind of world we live in.
This movie doesn’t just tell a story—it opens your eyes, and breaks your heart. 🥺

Short, Sweet, and Seriously Adorable!
💖 17 Minutes of Pure Cuteness — I Need More!! ⏰💘I just finished Why Do We Have to Hide It?! and even though it’s only 17 minutes long, I LOVED every second! 🥹✨ Both actors are stunning and had great chemistry — the looks, the little gestures, the tension... all packed perfectly into a short runtime 💞.
The plot is super simple — two boyfriends keeping their love a secret — but it’s told with so much heart. Honestly, this short film gave me more feels than some full 8-episode series I’ve watched 😅.
I really hope this gets expanded into a full series one day — I’d be so ready to invest in it! 💸💖 Until then, this is a sweet, cozy watch that I highly recommend. Just wish it was a bit longer!
⭐️ 8/10
⏳ Short but absolutely worth your time! Don’t miss it!

Entertaining
I don't know if I'm the only one who from the beginning felt like the movie itself was trying to force me to feel sad, it's like I predicted that and anticipated it, I think that disconnected me a bit with the characters, and that's why I didn't get to cry.And the hairstyle so ji sub had in this movie was too juvenile for his age, it didn't suit his in my opinion.
In itself, it was entertaining, if you liked this movie you will probably like "better days" which is much better.

A romance film you should watch at least once in your life.
I watched this film because my close friend likes Zhang Jingyi, so I decided to give it a try — and I ended up really liking it! I love everything about this movie: the story, especially the pacing, the acting, and the technical parts like the cinematography — all felt just right. To me, this movie feels more like a romantic horror film, haha, because the realistic approach really stands out.Was this review helpful to you?

Oh my goodness the two MLs were unbelievably gorgeous. Throughout the entire movie I would be like "damn he's freaking hot, omg that smile, ahhhh his eyes, etc..." (and that went for both of them)
And can I just say how effing hot they both looked with hats on!!
