A Fairytale That Deserved Better
I actually raised my rating because of the amount of criticism this drama received over a historical inaccuracy. For me, Perfect Crown is a fictional story, almost a modern fairytale and I don't think IU, Byeon Woo-seok or the rest of the cast deserved the harsh treatment they received because of it. I enjoyed the drama for what it was: a beautiful fantasy romance with a wonderful cast, and I'm sticking with my 10/10.Was this review helpful to you?
A Drama That's Almost Impossible Not to Love
One of those dramas where everything came together for me - romance, humor, emotion, supporting characters and fantastic chemistry between the leads. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin made the relationship completely believable, and I became just as attached to many of the people around them. A K-Drama That Will Always Have My Heart
This is exactly the kind of drama I love - romance, action, danger, humor, and characters you become attached to. Song Joong-ki was incredibly charismatic as Yoo Si-jin, and the chemistry between the leads made the romance work for me. It was also one of the first K-dramas I watched, so it will always have a special place in my heart. It has that big, emotional kdrama feeling that makes me happily forgive some of the more unrealistic parts of the story.Was this review helpful to you?
The Cast That Made It a 10/10
The story wasn't always equally strong for me, but the cast absolutely made this drama. So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho and Joo Sang-wook were such a pleasure to watch together, and I was also impressed by Seo Su-min, especially considering this was her debut. One of those dramas where I enjoyed the characters enough to forgive some weaknesses in the writing and I would definitely watch a second season.Was this review helpful to you?

In reality, what the male lead is doing is toxic, manipulative, suffocating, and infuriating. Doing this to an adult woman—never leaving her alone, following her wherever she goes, and tagging along everywhere—isn't love, it's control. It's illegal and constitutes harassment, especially when she tries to escape and he tracks her through her phone's GPS. On top of that, it feels smothering; they treat her like an object they can just move around and control as they please. I didn't like the male lead's character at all. They disguised toxic behavior as something romantic. I'm not saying the actor didn't perform well, but his character was absolute garbage.Was this review helpful to you?
Trying to be many things but failing to be anything
Well, I was quite curious about it because I usually like Jung Hae-In's works, but wow... This one is pretty meh.This drama tries to be a cheesy rom-com and an action thriller series at the same time, but fails to be anything relevant. It's neither a good rom-com nor a good action drama. It's full of clichés, but that's not a problem, as long as they are well-used and/or fully assumed as a kind of joke (look at "Business Proposal"). But do not get your hopes up : it is not the case here.
I saw people pointing at the FL, but I personally do not believe it is her fault because I saw her in "Doona!" and I liked her acting. To me, the responsibility falls onto the directors and the writers who failed to create anything interesting. This drama is just a bland rom-com filled with some action and thriller elements. And the way the plot is resolved at the end felt super upsetting. I was like, "Everything happened so far for... that?".
I would not recommend it, at least if you are looking for something decent. But if you are looking for something to binge-watch while turning your brain off, you might enjoy it.

An Office Romance Worth Watching
What I loved most about this drama was how refreshingly normal the relationship felt. No endless manufactured misunderstandings — just two adults trying to make a relationship work while dealing with real-life problems. Seo In Guk was wonderfully calm and mature, Park Ji Hyun felt very natural, and their understated chemistry worked perfectly for me. Even the difficult parts of their relationship felt believable rather than forced.Was this review helpful to you?

ohhh I am hooked.as someone who usually doesn't watch high school bl I am so in love with this series like I need it to be completed immediately and their chemistry is insane and cute I don't know the charm gmmtv used on me cause match point and unlucky bae got me hooked

The Beginning of My K-Drama Addiction
My first K-drama, so it will probably always have a special place for me. Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung are ridiculously beautiful together, but thankfully the drama gave me more than just visuals. I loved the fantasy, romance, humor and chemistry between them. It was basically the drama that opened the door to my K-drama obsession.Was this review helpful to you?
I Cried, I Loved It, I'd Watch It Again
Probably one of the K-dramas that affected me emotionally the most. Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young were wonderful together, and their chemistry made the romance feel genuinely painful and beautiful at the same time. An amazing adaption of Dakaichi
This series has been in my mind for ages. Dakaichi was actually one of my first BL anime and I watched it back in 2018-2019. It left a big impression on me and when I heard Top Form was gonna be adapted I couldn't be happier. While watching it on air I enjoyed it extremely much. Because I have been busy all year trying to complete my watchlist I barely gave myself the opportunity to rewatch it. So.. it has been over a year and decided to rewatch it without actually remembering anything. I'm honestly still not over the anime even though it has been ages, same goes for this adaption.Before I write about this show I have to talk about Akina or Nour given that it's gonna be aired 25th of August this year. I have to admit that I am extremely confused. I thought Akina was renamed to Nour but it doesn't seem to be the case? People mentioned Boom leaving the project of Akina but I thought it were issues with his company? Anyways, am excited for Nour and can't wait for the series!! Tong Tong also really deserves to finally get a main. I noticed Tong Tong and other actors of Nour getting tons of hate and I'm honestly just confused. But I can't wait to watch Nour!!
SmartBoom was a really iconic pair and I'm sad it ended this way. Normally, I don't care that much about a pair breaking up because after all, it's their decision. But for SmartBoom I feel slightly different. I doubt it was even the choice of the actors. I tried to search up what happened but honestly my English is wayyy too bad to understand. It has something to do with the companies, that's for sure. I will miss SmartBoom forever but I don't harass the actors or Nour either. I just wished the companies were more careful.
The roles seem rlly hard to have and SmartBoom nailed it. I personally think crying on set is extremely hard and I really love how they did so. Actually, I feel like Boom has an extremely innocent face and him being the most handsome male of the year really is true. What I do hate is how Akin was sexually assaulted and Jin just left him. I'm gonna be honest even if they didn't actually do something I do still consider this as SA and I just lowkey hated that part. Like why not just support your bf? That ending really surprised me... Boom left the agency or whateve, like he stopped acting?? I totally forgot the ending so I was honestly really surprised. I do feel like SmartBoom were the best couple ever for this adaption.
One of the only ost I don't like but I do love the intro animation. Overall I feel like this is an amazing adaption of Dakaichi and it couldn't be better. The scene's hold a lot of emotion and I absolutely love the acting work. I really hope to see more of Boss Wasakorn's work in the future. If you love green flags this is for you, although Jin became a bit of a red flag in certain scene's. A huge recommendation and worth my time.

A Rom-Com with a Killer Twist
One of those dramas that gives me exactly the combination I enjoy — romance, comedy, crime and enough suspense to keep things interesting. Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun have wonderful chemistry, and I loved how naturally the relationship develops alongside the darker storyline. Speed and Love: A High-Octane Romance with Heart
Speed and Love is a drama that combines romance, emotions, and street racing in a really engaging way.What I liked most about this series was the emotional story of separation and reunion, which gave the drama a strong heart. The relationship between the characters felt meaningful, and the way their past and present were connected made the story more touching.
The racing and action scenes were also very well done. They added excitement to the drama without diminishing the emotional side of the story. I also think the character development was good, especially for the male lead, whose journey from childhood to the underground world was shown nicely.
What makes this drama special is the mix of love and danger. It has both emotional moments and thrilling street-racing scenes, making it enjoyable for fans of both romance and action.
Of course, some parts may feel a little predictable, but the chemistry between the main characters and the different atmosphere of the story help make up for it.
Overall, Speed and Love is an entertaining and emotional drama that is definitely worth watching if you enjoy romance, family feelings, and street racing action.

Intense, Addictive and Impossible to Put Down
Ji Chang Wook is absolutely in his element here. The action is excellent, and knowing how much of it he performed himself makes it even more impressive. But what really stood out to me was his fascinating chemistry with Song Yoon Ah, sometimes even more than the actual romance. A Must-Watch for Every K-Drama Lover
Still my number one K-drama. It has almost everything I want in a drama action, romance, mystery, great chemistry and characters I genuinely cared about. Ji Chang Wook was fantastic as Healer, and his chemistry with Park Min Young is still one of my favorites.
