. The romance and kiss scenes feels raw and intense

This drama hit me emotionally in a way few others have. The romance and kiss scenes feels raw and intense, shaped by hardship, survival, and emotional strength.

The leads have incredible chemistry — the kind that builds through shared danger and trust. Their love feels earned, not handed to them. Every moment between them carries weight, and the emotional tension never disappears.

What I loved most is how strong both characters are, yet how vulnerable they become with each other. Their love feels deep, protective, and unforgettable.

slow-burn romance

This drama completely understands my love for slow-burn romance. Nothing is rushed. Every look, every pause, every moment of tension means something. The relationship builds slowly through mistrust, restraint, and emotional distance — and that’s exactly what makes it so powerful.

What I loved most is how the romance isn’t loud or forced. It simmers. You feel the longing before it’s ever spoken. The male lead is intense but controlled, and the female lead is strong without losing her softness. Their connection grows naturally, and when emotions finally break through, it feels incredibly satisfying.

This is the kind of love story that stays with you — not because of grand gestures, but because of the quiet emotional weight behind every scene.

funny and romantic

Les Belles is a light, fun, and charming romantic drama that stands out mainly because of Allen Fang’s hilarious and lovable performance. His natural comedic timing, expressive reactions, and playful charm make the show genuinely enjoyable and easy to watch.

The romance is sweet and relaxed, built on banter and gradual affection rather than heavy drama. The chemistry feels natural, and the overall tone stays lighthearted and feel-good throughout. While it’s not an intense or emotional romance, it succeeds by being entertaining, warm, and comforting.

The Experiment That Revealed Yeon's True Feelings

I randomly discovered this on YouTube and instantly clicked the moment I saw Lee Sang Min on the thumbnail who also starred in Why R U: South Korean version. I must commend him that he really did well as Jeong Yeon in this series. Upon watching the first episode, I wondered why Yu Geon was so cold towards Jeong Yeon when they met for the first time after high school, even though he was his private tutor. Yeon joins him as an intern in the research lab.

Yes, Yeon might have been detached or uncaring to Yu Geon before, but it seems history is repeating itself now. Moving on to the second episode, it was a genius idea of Geon to use the Delphi Questionnaire to measure emotional responses. He discovered Jeong Yeon's true feelings that he still likes him through the responses made, without this he would have kept guessing.

Jeong Yeon sounds like someone who regrets his past-self because he rejected Yu Geon, now he's matured and so sure about his future. He even initiated in kissing him first, and Yu Geon went with the flow.

This is good in terms of acting and directing, 8 /10! You should definitely watch it.

Deeply emotional, beautifully told romance

Fireworks of My Heart is a deeply emotional, beautifully told romance that stays with you long after the final episode. It’s one of those dramas that doesn’t rely on exaggerated drama or flashy twists, but instead builds its power through quiet intensity, emotional restraint, and heartfelt connection.

What makes this drama special is the maturity of the romance. The relationship between the leads feels realistic and grounded, shaped by time, separation, misunderstandings, and personal growth. Their love isn’t loud or rushed — it’s the kind that simmers beneath the surface, growing stronger through shared pain, unspoken feelings, and enduring care. When the emotions finally surface, they feel earned and deeply moving.

got me hooked

This was my first CDrama and it got me hooked :) ive watched around 50 C drama since, but this is still my first love-Love Song Wei Long . Everlasting Longing is one of those rare dramas that truly understands what a slow-burn romance should feel like. From the very beginning, the story pulls you in with its emotional depth, quiet tension, and the constant sense that something meaningful is building beneath every interaction.

What makes this drama so special is how the romance is central to the story, not just an afterthought. The relationship develops naturally through mistrust, restraint, and longing — the kind of slow burn that makes every glance, every moment of hesitation, and every emotional breakthrough feel incredibly rewarding. The chemistry between the leads is strong and believable, creating a connection that feels deep rather than rushed.

The female lead stands out as intelligent, resilient, and emotionally grounded. She isn’t weak or overly dependent, yet she carries vulnerability in a very human way. The male lead complements her perfectly — restrained, intense, and quietly devoted, with his feelings revealed through actions rather than words. Their dynamic is filled with tension, longing, and emotional weight, which makes their moments together deeply satisfying.

Wow.

First of all, I literally binged this season in one day, and the cause is Jin Yeong, also known as Dex. He literally kept popping up everywhere online for the past two to three years. I did follow him, but never watched this season until now. For some random reason, I kept seeing his videos more online, especially with Sana and Nadine, so I was like, "You know what? Let me try." ChatGPT told me he was on season one, but girl, no.
Anyway.
Lmao. Off topic. BABHAHAHA.
This is probably the second Korean dating show I've finished and watched. The first one was 'Pink Lie' (I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THAT SHOW!).
At first, the setup was confusing for me as there were too many contestants. I kept forgetting their names and sometimes got a headache because everything was happening all at once.
However, the main purpose was good! I love all the cast!
How their chemistry grew... the third wheeling moments... so many times where I feel bad for some of the contestants... sometimes I thought 'this person' went to 'that person' because her think her choice wouldn't pick her...
The ending was good.
Def. Felt bad for the leftover contestant.. but ykow. It is what it is.

I def enjoyed watching this season.
I skipped 1. Lol.
Im prob going to move to season 5 as social medias r flocking a lot of scenes from season 5.

Also! OMG. I love DEX.
JIN YEONG. LITERALLY SLAYED THIS SEASON. THE WAY HE ENTERED. HIS... VIBE. OMG.
HE'S GIVING SUCH A COLD-BLOODED ATTITUDE... which is probably the reason why a lot of the female contestants liked him.
The way he responds... dead.
I don't know, man.
I like how he showed himself. Like. Naturally.
He's cautious. He's careful.
And very GENTLEMANLY.
OMG.
TOTALLY MY NAMJA STYLE.
Oppa Gangnam Style.

Pero grabe c Seulki. Giel. Ang lucky mo. 3 in 1 coffee mate k ba?
Penge nman.

The drama is so beautiful the story and everything

The drama is about youth love innocent pure very nostalgic....
I love the main leads the story is so good i don't have words... It's depicts reality no sugarcoating... Just how what happens in real life the love the struggle in family.. college school love life ..
I really want a season 2...
The high school scenes where lu shuyi teased xia xiaoxio... And picked upon her being harsh on the outside and gentle from inside
It's not a love triangle it's a love pentagon I'll say the main leads and side characters story also depicted so well...
I really want a season too so bad I want to see the cute moments between lu shuyi and xia xiaoxio
The drama contain love sadness friendship rejection like they put every single emotion in there story line
I just feel bad about 2nd lead they could set him up with a girl he deserves... Uhm not lin you like she was in relationship just because she can't be single and to cure her breakup she got in relationship with cheng leng the second lead.... She was selfish from my perspective
But the drama really depicted the reality of life ...there is no fake fantasy and all...
I've never seen such drama ... It's my 4th time watching it

highly rewatchable

Highly rewatchable what more can I say. I delayed watching this movie cause I didn't want to get drawn into the hype though I could have done with more Business Proposal before anything else. Was hoping because this was so popular we would get more Business Proposal but to no avail. Would watch Kpop Demon Hunters 1000 times more and 1000 times over that but it still doesn't excuse Netflix for not giving us any more Business Proposal. Still sad about that and will continue to run my mouth 😕

Huge potential but brought down by execution

My issue with this drama is that the execution is really bad. The script and acting felt like it’s portrayed to be excessively preachy to the point that it’s kinda campy and undermine the severity of the issues they portrayed. And so many mental health sufferers in the class felt like an overkill or repetitive.

First few episodes was decently interesting to watch when they depicted the struggles of the different students but I think the plot lost it when the focus shift to the main FL student and her eventual demise. There’s one ep where the teacher went into a long coke rant about bullies was so awkward and bad. I don’t usually fast forward dramas but I did here.

The subject has huge potential to be poignant and heartfelt but it’s really brought down by the script and the way they choose to perform in this drama. I don’t think it’s the actors’ fault but rather the aesthetic decisions made by the director. There’s no way the performers perform like this in other drama.

Don't expect much . but worthy of at least one watch

Storyline is a bit boring . Acting of the fl is bit annoying. There are many cute moments that can make you giggle but you have to suffer through the storyline to get there . FL had more chemistry with sml then ml ( personal opinion)
If you liked ' back to seventeen ' then you might like to watch this one because it has the main cast in it and their character is also same .
for me every couple were interesting instead of the main couple
you can give it a try but don't expect much from it

A mess of a script.

Once again I asked myself "how should I rate this drama?" I tend to feel like that when there are elements in a drama that have really annoyed me.

The answer became clear when I finally gave up on episode 9, not interested anymore on reaching the end.

Honestly the script was so unintelligent that I wondered who was the target audience. Plotholes all over the place, the villain characters cartoonishly evil that was almost laughable, and the romance for me was not romancing enough to save the series.

Among all this, Choi Sooyoung's acting was the only thing I enjoyed. Her character had such an interesting background, a devastating past which had my eyes welling up when they occasionally mentioned it.

Her dad's case was the reason I kept watching, but when I reached ep9 and they were still dealing with the "evil" CEO and the "evil" prosecution I was finally fed up.

Overall, this drama is not for people that enjoy intelligent or even semi-intelligent scripts. I really wanted to like this, but when I kept spending my time wanting to skip scenes and frowning with the badly written story, no amount of Choi Sooyoung's intriguing acting could make me stick around for more.

I had so many thoughts (not good ones) while watching the episodes but now that I'm writing this I don't know what to say anymore.

Anyway, this series was not for me and that's about it.

I gave it 4.5 for the acting and ok directing but story based it's not even a 2.

This drama supposed to highlight FL more

I watched this last year since i want to watch He Jianqi in ancient drama.

It's a quick transmigration story. FL dies as an empress at the beginning, and then transmigrates into various forms, including a princess, a eunuch, and an empress dowager. She starts by wanting to escape but gradually becomes aware of the ML feelings for her and ultimately thwarts the villain's plot. The story itself is terrible, and the character development is also quite poor. The chemistry is barely non-exist between He Jianqi and Ma Xinyu.

The highlight in this drama is He Jianqi feel like his acting is very natural, especially his rebellious and unruly character, which is just right. Actually this drama should highlight F character since she change in many forms but i feel Ma Xinyu still failed to grap the difference of character charm.

Only recommended to solo fans.

Only for Binzhu

The main leads’ performances were solid. HMH, as usual, never disappoints, his acting has always been reliable, and nailed his character perfectly. TSY is a great actress too, I loved her in FOY. However, in this series, their chemistry just wasn’t chemistry-ing for me, especially when compared to HMH and GLNZ in Glory.

Both actors did well, but the storyline was honestly one of the worst I've seen. I know many people may disagree, but I couldn’t get past ep 2 without heavy skipping, rolling my eyes and brain damage. There was no way I could sit through the entire series properly. XY’s character was incredibly immature, not the most likeable FL to begin with, but beyond that, she was just plain childish. I genuinely don’t understand where the strong female lead narrative came from.

And why did HY have to sacrifice himself after going through so much? That decision made zero sense. Killing off the supporting characters didn’t help either as they haven't get the chance to rewrite their story. The ending was utter nonsense. If the storyline had been well written and HY sacrificed himself for the greater good, maybe could have accepted it. But when the entire series was already weak, that sacrifice felt completely undeserved and frustrating.

The only thing that kept me coming back at all was BZ and PP. Without them, I would rate this drama 1/10...

One of the best dramas i've watched!

just finished this drama, and it absolutely deserves the hype!!

I usually stick to historical dramas because modern ones often feel repetitive to me. But this drama honestly changed my perspective a bit; it felt refreshing and gave me things I’ve been wanting to see in a modern story. One of my favorite aspects was how the conflicts were handled. Problems didn’t drag on forever, Yusen & Xi Guang actually communicated, which made everything feel more realistic and mature between them. We get to see how both characters, Xi Guang and Yusen; learn from each other about love and understanding, honesty between them even.

The romance between Xi Guang and Yusen is a slow burn, but in the best way. Their relationship develops gradually, and you really see the emotional journey behind falling for someone new. It shows how hard it can be to move forward, especially when past feelings still exist. Yusen’s patience and sincerity really stand out, and watching Xi Guang learn that she deserves to be loved and cherished was one of the most touching parts of the drama. He is one of the greenest flags possible, I loved how patient and sweet he was to her. He is definitely better than Zhuang Xu, it's great that Xi Guang gave him a chance to test the waters between them; imo it was the best decision she had ever made in there !!

As for the emotional side involving Zhuang Xu, I have mixed feelings. His character had depth, but a lot of situations could have been handled better on his end. Misunderstandings and unspoken feelings played a big role, and while that added emotional tension, it was also a bit frustrating to watch at times. I just wish he spoke on his feelings more WITHOUT lashing out at her for once. Although he claims he didn't have many opportunities tell her about his feelings; IMO he definitely did have many chances to; he just chose not to do it until later on when she chose to move on properly. I also feel like he should've made it clear that Rong wasn't a thing to him romantically. Also one thing Zhuang Xu should've done is moved on after the wedding incident, when she made it clear she doesn't have feelings for him anymore. He had 2 suitors, yet he chose to follow what already left him furthering to make him have a bad ending for himself. --> Also Zhuang Xu's colleagues imo shouldn't have told him about what they overheard. Sometimes it's not your business to tell + it made Zhuang Xu think it's okay to act up and pretend he didn't have chances before --> making him want to pursue Xi Guang.

Xi Guang as a character is very relatable ; She is not perfect, sometimes avoidant to her issues, and driven by her emotions. Her character shows us the complex emotions that many face with first loves. That made her realistic, but there were moments where better communication might have changed a lot for Zhuang Xu and her. Still, her internal struggles and growth were an important part of the story. I kinda wish she wasn't super avoidant to her problems and faced Zhuang Xu properly. She should've told him not to have further ideas of chasing her. Plus she should've been a bit more honest to him that she wouldn't be around + although she didn't completely move on, she is still testing the waters between her and Yusen. Though, she doesn't owe Zhuang Xu a explanation; I feel like it would've been better if she spoke to him honestly because it only made Zhuang Xu even more obsessed with the idea of thinking it's okay to chase her now because she lied previously.

My favorite character has to be Xi Guang’s cousin, Jiang Rui! He brought so much warmth and humor to the drama. Even though he didn’t have a huge amount of screen time, he was always supportive and protective in the sweetest way. I really wish we got more scenes with him he added such a fun and comforting energy whenever he appeared. (One scene I loved was the snowboarding race :D )

Overall, this drama balances romance, emotional growth, and character relationships really well. It’s heartfelt, mature, and doesn’t rely on unnecessary drama just to keep things going. Definitely one of the more refreshing modern dramas I’ve watched.
