Please give us a third season, we beg
I loved this season as well! Once again, the relationships Sieun builds in this season are just so fun to watch! I love all the new friends he makes! I even really liked some of the new bad guys this season! I love that every character is more than a 'bad guy' or 'good guy'. No one is perfect and every character is so fleshed out. I love all the action scenes this season as well, especially the one on the roof. This show never fails to amaze me in how it can make you feel every emotion. The actors all did incredible of course!I did enjoy season one more than this one, but I'd still give this one a 10/10

Easily became a favorite of mine
Giving this series a perfect 10/10 for the first time in a long time for kdramas. This show is absolutely incredible! It makes you feel every emotion and get so attached to the trio! I don't have a single complaint about this series at all. The acting from everyone in the cast is outstanding, especially Park Jihoon's. The way he can express so many and so much emotion with just his eyes is incredible.I love how this show makes you feel part of their trio and betrayed by Beom-Seok when he switches sides. Even if you don't like Beom-Seok, you still feel so bad for him for everything he's been through. You fall in love with Suho and want to be his friend too. You just want Sieun to be happy and finally make friends.
I could go on and on about this show because it is just that good. I've shown it to all my friends and all of us have said that easily became one of our favorites. I've watched it many times now and it's just as enjoyable as the first time!

Boring characters with a mid plot
It was okay, just not my favorite story or couple I've seen. None of the characters really stood out to me, and they were all just kind of one dimensional and boring. Even the chemistry between the leads was just okay to me, not bad not great. It did have some decent spice. Just overall pretty mid.Was this review helpful to you?

Super boring and repetitive
I started watching this for Junho and to be honest he's the only reason I finished it. It's not that the story was bad, it was just super repetitive. That made the show very predictable and kind of boring. Every time something went their way, it would crash and burn. The whole show was just that over and over, which just got annoying very quickly. The actors all did a great job. The chemistry between the two leads was okay. I've definitely seen better from Junho with other people. This just felt hard to get through honestly. Was this review helpful to you?
Another Luo Yunxi Triumph
The Truth Within is another Luo Yunxi triumph. His prodigious talent easily crosses genres, and in this modern crime drama he delivers a nuanced, deeply human portrayal of a medical examiner coping with profound personal trauma. The plot is engaging and keeps the audience invested throughout, with echoes of the classic Quincy, M.E. series in the way it blends forensic investigation with emotional depth and moral issues. The supporting cast is strong, well-balanced, and delivers believable performances that elevate the story even further.
In summary, The Truth Within is a compelling and well-crafted series that I highly recommend. It offers strong performances, emotional resonance, and a storyline that will engage both longtime Luo Yunxi fans and new viewers alike.

My favorite of theirs so far
The concept was interesting, and I think it was executed pretty well. The trailer makes it seem a lot more confusing than it is. It's a fairly easy story to follow. The leads obviously have great chemistry. It's definitely the best thing I've seen them in so far. I think Max and Nat did a great job in these roles and the characters were pretty likeable.

Characters need therapy
Another series that takes 50 episodes to portray a simple mis-communication between two equally confused and immature characters. The drama is stirred up by the advice, threats, and manipulations of the people surrounding the main couple. Lots of problems with this series-mostly, a lot of tired old tropes. They get together, they're driven apart, they get together, they're driven apart. Ho hum.1. I'm SO TIRED of being told in K-dramas and C-dramas who's pretty, who's handsome, and who's ugly. And there's a whole lot of that going on in this series. Let the viewer make up her own mind. No one person gets to decide what's beautiful for the rest of us.
2. Shan Cai. This actress who plays her looks and acts like a 12-year-old and pouts like a 7-year-old. She's as charismatic and assertive as a wet noodle. Si keeps calling her "stupid." Is she? Anyone who knocks on the front door can push their way into her home. Anyone who says they want to be her friend, is treated like her best buddy. Si grabs her, takes her things, puts his hand over her mouth, pulls her this way and that, slaps her--and she just lets him do...whatever. Is she madly in love? Who knows? Her standard expression is blank, and the kisses between her and Si seem really contrived.
Her idea of a fun date is to feed her face with, not one, but four obscene desserts slathered in whipped cream and syrup while Si watches in disgust-and this girl is a nutrition major. No matter how many of the other characters call her "fierce" or "incredible," she isn't. I read that Dylan Wang wrote a letter to Si when the series ended. Among other things, he said, "I don't understand one thing. Why don't you just get another girlfriend if she's so indifferent to you?" He has a point.
3. Si. This dude (the character, not the actor) is seriously disturbed. He's rigid, violent, abusive, and a bully. But he's sometimes the only person speaking truth. He's right when he accuses Shan Cai of dodging questions, being evasive, and changing the subject whenever he asks her a straightforward question. He's frustrated, and I don't blame him.
4. The couple together. Their toxic relationship is ruining the lives of everybody around them. Wake up Lei, Meizuo, and Xi Men Yan! Don't let these crazies mess up your entire college experience.
Here's what needs to happen. Shan Cai should say: "I appreciate your good qualities, Si. You're loyal, generous and brave. But if we keep going like this, ten years from now, we'll either be divorced or one of us will be dead.
She should add two things:
A. Please deal with your crazy mother. She has to stop trying to intimidate-or destroy--me and my friends. Just get it done. If that's not possible move out of your family's house. Otherwise: good-bye.
B. From now on--no violence, no bullying, and no physical abuse. When I say, "Stop!" you need to stop. And you'll treat the people in our lives with kindness and respect. Got it? In return, I promise to answer your questions in a straightforward and honest way.
5. I'm a little disappointed with Dylan Wang. A socially retarded and emotionally damaged dude finds his one true love, manhandles and bullies her. There must be other scripts out there that can show-off this guy's amazing acting skills.

Poly or nothing
I really enjoyed this! It was a fun watch and pretty different from your usual romance! You don't really ever see poly relationships in media, so I liked that this showed different sides of what that is like. The trio were all really likeable and fun to watch together! They had great chemistry with each other too.Was this review helpful to you?
Perfection
This story was incredible! I try to stay away from time travel stories because I usually don't care for them too much, but I loved what they did with this one so much! Everything is so thought out in this series and I love it! The characters all have great chemistry with each other as well, whether that platonic or romantic. Can't recommend it enough! I've watched it a few times now and still love it so much!It also has two actors I absolutely love in it, Hyun-Wook & Ryeoun!

Why is this popular?
This is a very loved series and to be honest, I don't understand why. So many moments in this show annoyed me and the ending was VERY unsatisfying. This is always one of the shows I say is my least favorite I've ever seen. When people ask me if they should watch this, I always recommend not to. I just didn't enjoy it all. Nothing against the actors because they did great, but the story was just not enjoyable. Was this review helpful to you?
I wanted the boys to get together more than with the girl
This is a fun & very popular drama. The comedy in this is pretty good. I honestly felt like the two boys had more chemistry with each other more than either of them had with her, that could be just me though. Their chemistry with her was okay but not the best. It's a classic that I think every rom-com watcher should check out.Love all three of the actors in this!

Very strong opening
I really liked this!! I loved the concept a lot! This had a very strong open as well that drew you in instantly. It's quite intense and deals with a subject that can be triggering (no pun intended lol) so just be aware of that. I loved the characters a lot too, especially Lee Do and Moon Baek! Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
Korean Drama at it's best
What I liked:1. I almost missed this marvelous series because–who wants to watch a drama about the daily grind of a bunch of ordinary office workers in a large corporation in Korea? I gave it a try because of the high ratings, and I’m so glad I did. This story is absorbing.
2. It’s hard to single out any one actor because everyone’s work was outstanding. How Ling Sun-min is able to convey a whole world of emotion with his poker face is almost beyond comprehension. Im Si-wan’s acting was also remarkable. His character and confidence level subtly change as the story progresses.
3. The plot was unpredictable, but believable–at least until the ending, which I’ll get to below.
4. Another great feature is that the cast consists (mostly) of characters who look like ordinary people, not glamorous movie stars.
What I didn’t like:
1. Hey guys! Movie makers have an unwritten contract with the audience. If the film starts out as a horror film, it shouldn’t suddenly change into SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS. If it begins as a musical comedy it shouldn’t suddenly turn into a crime drama.
Sure, surprises within certain boundaries are fine, but you don’t undermine the fictional world you’ve set up by pulling the rug out from under the viewers. This series does that.
For some reason, the directors decided to change things up at the last moment. And suddenly we were all watching RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARC.
Next time wait until the credits roll before you move on to the next project. I deducted one star because of episode 20.

Closure, moving on and still longing
Looking at Go Soo's pretty face with beautiful hair while enjoying a drama with so much depth that it drowns you in it. I loved the first season but it's unusual that I enjoyed the 2nd season even more! What worked is that this really is a continuation to the first part in the lives of the living characters, but also a whole new story when it came to the other side. Like the first season, the concept of the drama itself is extremely sad but the focus of the drama is about closure. Despite all they face, the characters are very light hearted and won't waste a moment where they can be goofy and happy. The first season built the relationship and trust between characters, and it was shown this season through their bonds and dependence of one another. The cast built even better chemistry and seeing them interact is a lot of fun.
That is why it never felt melodramatic despite its many crying worthy scenes.
Another theme this drama presents is how family bonds aren't determined by blood but by action. And even in the most terrible event you don't have a family anymore, you can still join another one and find reasons to continue living.
The ending was a bit underwhelming but also opened many possibilities.
I highly recommend this drama to everyone, but of course after watching the first season

Boring
I dropped this series. The plot was dragging and i found the storyline intresting yet not gripping.
The acting was lifeless and plain.
Starting to watch the series i thought this would be a thriller worth giving a try but this has nothing making want to go further.
The love story and its portrayal is horrifying.
Overall a waste of time, money and energy
