Our litle "Yo" has DEFINITELY grown up. But perhaps not in a good way.

I've only watched one episode so far, and the main thing I can say at this point is that our little "Yo" has DEFINITELY grown up, lol. I guess I can add that I was genuinely surprised to see a simulated oral sex scene streaming on iQiyi, not that I mind or anything. This kind of a more mature role may actually be good for Poom's career. I also found the use of Zorro's, 'Back at Zero,' in the soundtrack to be particularly inspired.

All in all, I'm optimistic, and plan to keep watching. Fingers crossed...

2nd Episode Addition:

Well, so far two episodes and two simulated oral sex scenes, lol. This obviously does not bode well. I'm all for using erotic elements to enhance a show, but this clearly seems like overkill and more of an attempt to merely shock or titillate, unfortunately.

This episode was also over-directed, over-acted and somewhat unfocused. And poor Poom just seems to come across as some lascivious, over-sexed nymphomaniac. You can almost hear the director on the set yelling to him, "More horny! Even MORE! HORNIER!!!" I suspect that he's already regretting appearing in this series.

There was also more of that dreadful AI dreck everywhere. At first I was quite puzzled as to why it all depicted male characters with only Western appearances and no characters with Thai appearances, and then it dawned on me that the databases for these AI images are probably overwhelmingly biased in that direction. So it really begs the question as to why they went ahead and used them anyway. Rather strange.

I suppose I'll give it one more try, but I'm not hopeful.

3rd Episode (And Final) Addition:

I'm afraid I'm out on this one. I don't think I've ever cared less about the characters in a BL. Neither of the leads are the least bit interesting to me, and I couldn't care less about what happens to them, frankly. And the addition of the evil, overbearing parents trope just makes things even more boring. Honestly, I just found myself wanting to wipe that insipid smile off of Po's face more than anything else. Has there been even a moment so far where he didn't have that lurid, vacuous grin on his face? It doesn't feel like it.

I'd actually been hoping someone might do a more grown-up series that depicts the sexuality of young men in a more honest way than the bashful, blushing virgins you normally find in a BL, but this one isn't it. The simulated anal sex scene ( a step-up--or down perhaps?-- from the 2 gratuitous simulated oral sex scenes of the previous episodes) just felt cheap and awkward.

Anyway, I won't be watching any more episodes. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Great vertical drama

I love the actors in this vertical drama. They were simply adorable together. I also loved the story; it was fun and clever. A low-budget production to be sure, but still so highly watchable. I will be re-watching it again.

P.S. Right now, you can find it free on the vertical drama app FreeBits.

Please stop making this kids kiss!!

This is the 3rd series I've watched with this pair and allthough their series are fun, with each new series the kissing scenes have gotten worse it seems more forced and uncomfortable. one would think tht with time they'd learn to be more comfortable with each other but that doesn't seem to be the case here. I'd rather have the kisses completely removed and just have them hug, hold hands and maybe a simple peck here and there. They have great chemistry with each other truly fantastic, but it falls apart every time they kiss.

The series is actually quite fun, and has an interesting premise however the romantic scenes completely ruin what could've been at least for me and 8+ series. The second couple is far better but sadly Van is a selfish jackass and doesn't even deserve to have Farm as a friend.

JJ as always is freaking hilarious as the goofy single friend.

Although I mostly enjoyed it I doubt that I'd ever want to watch it again and doubt even more that I'd recommend it.

this was so ahh ?

dont waste your time fr. i skipped though most of it and it was also boring. the plot may have been interesting but they could've done way better. and it dont sit right with me, how you gonna say your teacher is like your mother and proceed to make out with her at school 😭🙏🙏 if there was better production, i'd probably give this higher rating but unfortunately it didn't. and the vertical style made the rating even lower. this was recommended by a friend who was glazing this movie saying it was "SOO GOODD" anyways thats it

The usual cute BL

Short review for this one.

The plot is something we already saw, nothing new, a standard school bl. Hioki is extremely cute, but his personality is kind of standard (bottom standard, shy and clumsy). Same thing for Watarai (cold with everyone, silent). The friendships are so nice: both groups are genuine and safe, my favourite thing of the show. The acting is pleasant: everyone does a good job, nothing feels unnatural. The kiss scene is well performed; the chemistry is there during the show not only between the main couple, but the whole cast. The direction is good, just few shoots could have been better, for example I’m not a huge fan of fish kisses, because they feel so unrealistic (only their first is like this, so I believe it’s a director’s choice). The ending song is my favourite, but the others are enjoyable. I loved the filming: the lighting and colours are fantastic; the settings are classic but nice. The one thing I particularly appreciate is the opening: the frames change three times, following the timeline and the plot. I’m not going to watch the series again, I can still recommend it though. This is a standard drama, cute, good to see if you need some love.

Thank you for reading,
kisses <3

FL is a baddass

"The Double" was one the first historical Chinese dramas that I could finish in 2 days, and wanting to rewatch. I LOVE this drama.
What i hated the most is how the production started to kill everyone. How dare they kill the most closest people of the FL and ML. I couldn't stop crying in the finale episode. It was so tragic, there was no reason to kill everyone.
FL is so intelligent, and ML so down bad for her. He even let the FL do all the scheming, that I love.
I feel like the father of the FL was just a victim of his wife scheming and lies, he didn't know what was happening in his own house. Overall 10/10⭐

Personagens complexos ✚

Solid Drama

If you're looking for a light-comedy with a sense of justice, this should do the job.

Jung Kyung Ho is a consistent and reliable actor as always. The rest of the main cast is also great. They managed to be comedic in a natural way that made sense for their characters.

The plot is solid. I thought they might've leaned into the fantasy aspect in the end, but I liked that they didn't complicate it too much in that aspect. The fantasy is just the premise, and the core of the drama is still about labor issues which I appreciated.

Why didn’t I watch this earlier PARK HEE SOON MARRY ME???

MY NAME is a dark& brutal crime drama that completely pulled me in. The action is intense, the fight scenes are insanely good, and the retro music makes everything feel even more powerful. 💯
Even though I’ve seen a lot of action and thriller dramas, I honestly didn’t see all the plot twists coming. Han So-hee is amazing in this role, and Park Hee-soon was a huge standout for me—his acting and screen presence were incredible.
Raw, gripping, and definitely worth watching from start to end. 10/10

Give it your full, undivided attention.

This series is very nuanced and seemingly simple. If you really want to understand why this BL is so beloved, you must read between the lines. This is unlike most series I've watched. The characters don't tell you how they feel and to keep us their perfect appearances, their expressions won't dramatically show it. This series is about many things; it tackles serious topics like society's beauty standards, abandonment, isolation, neglect, and more. It doesn't belittle or invalidate. Rather, it shows how discreet it can be. When you judge things superficially, you'll never know the truth.

Despite the serious theme, we were given moments of pure delight

I noticed that many people did not connect with the ending. Some because of the time jump cliché, others because Day regained his sight after the second transplant, others due to the seemingly unjustified separation before the time jump, or for similar reasons.

I must admit that none of this bothered me. I consider the series above average among Thai BLs. With a solid script, a very strong cast, and intelligent, well-crafted dialogue, Last Twilight secured its place among the best.

I especially liked the actor Jimmy, so much so that I already intend to watch the next drama starring the same pairing, My Magic Prophecy. Their chemistry is excellent.

In short, a great drama and very enjoyable to watch. Despite the serious theme, we were given moments of pure delight.

I highly recommend it.

I love Ahn Eunjin

The Dynamite Kiss scene was one of those moments that instantly stays with you. It wasn’t just about the kiss itself, but about everything that led up to it — the tension, the emotions, and the unspoken feelings finally bursting out. You could really feel how overwhelmed both characters were, like they had been holding back for so long and finally couldn’t anymore.

What made the scene special was how genuine it felt. It wasn’t rushed or forced; it happened naturally, driven by emotion rather than impulse. The buildup made the kiss feel meaningful, almost like a release after all the confusion and longing. It captured that feeling of young love — messy, intense, and honest.

The scene also showed growth in the characters. In that moment, they weren’t hiding behind pride or fear anymore. The Dynamite Kiss symbolized courage — choosing to feel, to risk getting hurt, and to finally admit what the heart has been saying all along. It was soft yet powerful, simple but unforgettable.

Overall, the Dynamite Kiss wasn’t just romantic — it was emotional, sincere, and deeply satisfying for readers who waited for that connection to finally explode in the most beautiful way đŸ’„đŸ’—

Delusion & Death: A Masterclass in Script-Writing Sabotage

The Hook - If you enjoy watching a talented cast be sacrificed on the altar of a nonsensical script, then Love & Crown is for you. For everyone else: Run. This isn't a drama; it’s a 35-episode "What THEE WHAT?" (WTW) marathon that should have been titled Delusion & Death.

Narrative Malpractice & The "Adopted" Amnesia
Let’s talk about the sheer lack of continuity. The writers clearly lost their own notes AFTER Episode 6. We start with Princess Ying as an adopted daughter whose mother died, confirmed by a servant at the 19-minute mark. Fast forward, and suddenly she’s a biological daughter? The script spends an exhausting amount of time telling the Emperor she isn't his blood sister, while conveniently forgetting that the 2nd Prince isn't her blood brother either. Or is she? Depends on which version of her identity you believe. It wasn’t a plot 🕳 hole; it was a plot abyss.

The "Security" & The Roaming Emperor I have seen better security at a Chuck E. Cheese than in this Imperial Palace. People wandered in and out like it was a public park. Our "Smart and Strategic" Emperor spent his time roaming public lands like a tourist while his people were being murdered and maimed. His repeated "grand strategy" was to watch society burn and then show up to put out the embers. That’s not a ruler - that’s a bystander with a title. Usually Emperors are Grandstanders - this fool was a complete BYSTANDER until it all hit the fan.

Character Assassination - this was very disappointing for me. Because I actually like the Preceptor at first.

The Preceptor: The ultimate WTW. She went from a brilliant, loyal FRIEND & OFFICIAL to a humanity-deficient nemesis no reason at all. She was "the help" who turned into a horror movie villain, holding the entire palace hostage while everyone shook in their boots. And her reward for this nonsensical villainy? A peaceful, natural death. The audacity. - My girl went from Preceptor to Preseptal - in my eyes lol 😂 (pun intended - you'll have to google it)

The Empress: A perpetual nuisance. She wasn't a hero, she wasn't a villain; she was just in the way. The emperor did not have enough lives to give her.

The Imperial Father-in-Law: The king of "False Sorrow." This man tried to kill his own adopted son, then had the nerve to let his eyes rain when someone else actually did it. The lack of genuine guilt in this series was sociopathic. No one was safe from this beast. He was willing to TEST sacrifice his own daughter.

Pacing: The "Spazz-Out" Effect This show didn't have pacing issues; it just had a freaking nervous breakdown. It wasn't slow, and it wasn't fast—it was just spazzing the freak out. One minute we’re dealing with Ghost Kings, the next we’re throwing in Pharmakeia like we’re in a different genre entirely, and then the Emperor became the Ghost King - 😂. My face was stuck in a permanent "HUH?" for thirty-five episodes.

Final Verdict I watched 35 episodes waiting for a climax that would appease my Main Character Energy. It never came. Instead, they just killed everyone. When a writer doesn’t know how to end a story, they just reach for the scythe. The structure was terrible so many things that were revealed in the last 10 episodes would have probably been better seeping through earlier eps. This ended like it had 12 more episodes to go but they threw it all in the last 10.

I didn't just lose my time; I lost my patience. This drama is a beautiful plate with absolutely no food on it. 0/10 recommendation.

It was The Best Thing

It was definitely the best thing I have EVER watched. Never seen a plot like this. The drama was so emotional mature it felt like a slap in the face after watching so many modern dramas.
Wish my doctor was that hot jajajaj
And the parents of FL, they were so healthy. Love that they were so supportive and protective of their own daughter. I was so done with abusive or dead parents.
I love how there was a poem for every episode and how every tea had its meaning.
It was very beautiful how using herbs can be used to heal and soothe the person.
