The ending is so happy but also to me it's sad
I love the music the cast and the overall story people change because of things that happen people feel grief regret madness and many more emotions that's why I think this is such a beautiful series sieun is such a understandable character and has so much regret that he bottles up and I feel like Baku and Juntae and gotak made it al better and at the end he got to see suho after he was in a coma and by all of that his friends said it wasn't his fault even tho he felt that it was his fault that why he had so much regret and pain and I hope there is gonna be a season 3 and we get more storyline of sieun and suhoanyway I love it so much ✨💙🩵

Weak Hero Class 2 — A Storm of Violence Without the Heartbeat of Part One
Weak Hero Class 2 arrives with heightened expectations, following the exceptional emotional resonance of its first season. Yet despite its impressive intensity and visual prowess, the second installment left me feeling disconnected, longing for the soulful storytelling that once defined the series. One of the greatest strengths of Weak Hero Class 1 was its intricate balance between brutal realities and tender human connection. It was not just a story of violence — it was a poignant exploration of friendship, loyalty, and survival. Each fight in the first season was steeped in context; it carried emotional weight, often revealing the characters' vulnerabilities and desperate need for belonging. Violence was never gratuitous — it was a last resort, an act of desperation or protection, making every blow feel necessary, almost inevitable.
In contrast, Weak Hero Class 2 seems to have shifted its focus almost entirely toward the spectacle of violence. While the production values are commendable — the action sequences are visceral, raw, and technically brilliant — the narrative often feels hollow. The relentless fights lack the strong emotional undercurrent that once made the pain onscreen deeply personal. Here, violence seems to occur for violence's sake, with the reasons behind the endless power struggles remaining flimsy, almost superficial.
I do appreciate that adolescence can be a chaotic, tumultuous time, where pride, anger, and insecurity fuel rash decisions. Teenagers can indeed be irrational in their quest for dominance and respect. However, the sheer extent of the brutality in Weak Hero Class 2, without sufficient emotional grounding, made it difficult for me to fully engage with the characters' journeys. I found myself questioning — why are they fighting so hard? What are they truly trying to defend or prove?
That said, the drama is not without merit. The deep bonds of friendship, a hallmark of the series, continue to shine in certain moments. Su Ho's arc, in particular, was beautifully tragic, evoking genuine sympathy and heartbreak. I also felt a profound sadness for Baek Jin, whose suffering was portrayed with a quiet intensity that lingered even after the final scene. These flashes of emotional truth reminded me of what the Weak Hero series is capable of when it taps into the human spirit beneath the fists.
Yet overall, the sequel struggles to match the emotional layering and character depth that made the original so memorable. Weak Hero Class 1 was a story about survival against odds, about fragile young men forging bonds to shield themselves from an unforgiving world. Weak Hero Class 2, by comparison, feels like a story of endless confrontation, with too few moments of introspection or growth to make the violence truly meaningful.
In the end, Weak Hero Class 2 roars with anger but often forgets to whisper the quieter truths about pain, friendship, and resilience that once set this series apart. It is a visually powerful sequel — but one that left me missing the soul of its predecessor.

just perfect except im kinda sick of seeing junyoung on my screen omg
season 2 was so beautiful and all you homophobes can go to hell because today we finally won sieun and suho confirmed ROMANTIC feelings. fork found in kitchen. the new characters are all gr4eat i will admit i had my doubts about the actor for juntae because of shitty ass xo kitty but he did a great job. i think Jun young looks too old to be in this show they could have found someone else. actually a lot of ide characters looked 40 that's my only complaint. Was this review helpful to you?

i still prefer season 1, but THIS SEASON IS STILL AS SOLID
i freaking love it!!! i binge watched season 1 and 2 in a sitting, and both season has its own beauty to it. though i still prefer season 1 with the emotional buildup, whereas season 2 has lotsa fight and tackling of the bullying issue.its so nice to see si eun determination and loyalty, and how he stands up for the weak even though he honestly isn't that great of a fighter. but hey, they say the winner is the last one standing and that is si eun for you.
i love love love how it connects back to season 1, without throwing away the entire season 1 plot and showing conversation with Beom Seok and i was really hoping si ho wakes up in the middle of the season, but that's okay so long as he wakes up in the drama still. SO CUTE. i can't wait if there is going to be a season 3; will we see the bromance combination of si eun with si ho and hu min?

The dark truth behind standing up for yourself
I just finished the drama and tried to grasp how I feel about it. Besides the amazing fighting choreography, I got outstanding young actors that believably portray how violence can turn you absolutely numb and how even the weakest kids can do unimaginable things if tortured too long. But what I actually liked the most about the show was the overall message I personally perceived from it: Standing up for yourself is nothing romantic. It's nothing pretty. It's nothing glorious. Most of the time it's just ugly and painful. If you want a show that portrays real life you won't like this. Given all the damage they took since episode 1 they all would be in a coma or dead already. But who is watching dramas for them to be realistic? Watch it for the entertainment. For the grim realisation that sometimes if you defend yourself you won't be any better than your oppressors. But that's how life goes. And that's the realistic part about this drama. Action - Reaction. Just that sometimes your reactions are as bad as the actions of the people who hurt you in the first place. It's an endless cycle. It's not romantic. It doesn't have an happy ending. There are some happy moments but in the end it's just a drama about some traumatized highly violent children that aren't heroes but just kids who are tired of getting disrespected and beaten up. Kids who become absolute lunatics themselves and instead of recognizing that they could try to end things peacefully they just take the same measures as the villains - who in fact also are just crazy traumatized kids. They only ever realize it when the damage is already done. There's nothing nice about that drama. And that's what makes it so damn good.

THE HYPE. THE WAIT. THE THRILL. THE VERY ALL OF WEAK HERO CLASS 2 ARE WORTH IT!!!
....THAT IS "if" you're a non-reader of the original webtoon like me, and solely just watching without any expectations from the webtoon itself.I'm too lazy to write any reviews/comment here actually considering how overwhelmed i am with whc2 but SINCE, it seems some/a lot where MAKING FUSS everywhere here and around the socmed about 1 : *that whc2 SEEMED RUSHED or what* ; 2 : *that how the MEETING OF SI-EUN & SU-HO WENT PASS JUST LIKE THAT?!*
IF THAT'S THE CASE, LET ME JUST ASK YOU FOR 1-THING. ~Would you like it if it goes how you wanted it to happen???? knowing it's just an 8-episode drama & probably, it could have been filmed quite in a fast-paced more than this! WELL, I BET YOU DON'T want it that way!
**reviews
I would say, THIS TOTALLY EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS. Man! Those flashbacks from the start!? IT IS JUST ONE THING THAT I REALLY PRAISE for this season. & What I REALLY LOVE about is how they didn't exclude Su-Ho ; from Si-Eun visiting suho every each day, & 'till OUR LONG WAIT WISH HAS FINALLY CAME TO AN END, suho's recovery, plus their meeting after all the long years and su-ho waiting for sieun, how SiEun and his new found friends run to meet suho *i'm still crying from si-eun's smile fr* (i was afraid suho would suffer from some memory loss tho, nothing just some kind of trauma* which I'm glad didn't happen). Tho, their reunion appeared quiet late to finale, I'm glad for the assurance they gave and didn't make it a reason for another season.
STILL, THERE ARE YET THINGS WAITING TO UNFOLD OF THE POTENTIAL NEW SEASON. THERE ARE MORE TO IT WHICH I HIGHLY ANTICIPATED!!!
~ so yeah! SEE YOU ALL NEXT SEASON!!!!! WITH THE WHOLE Weak Hero OG, hopefully!🙏👊

WILL HEAL YOUR SOUL FROM S1
S1 better than S2? The answer is NO, No Season is better than the other, S1 and S2 are one Series y'all for those S2 haters. S1 has been really painful for me, I felt wooseok's betrayal to the bones, It feels heart wrenching especially when suho was hospitalized because of wooseok's betrayal just because he felt jealous of someone, Until now I still need closure, I still want to see him felt the remorse he never did instead he blamed the Girl for the misfortune, S2 healed those painful emotions from S1 after seeing suho finally woken up and see Si-eun Again plus with his new friends, I finally be at peace. S1 and S2 are really full packaged if I focused on Si-eun's circle of friends. For Baek Jin a and Humin's friendship it's a pity how their friendship ended like that, tho no specific reason why they severed their friendship but it's a pity how Jin ah ended doing bad things they shouldn't have shown how he's been donating to the orphanage so I don't feel sympathetic to him anymore. But I just ignored them so it's fine. So the conclusion is that S1 wouldn't be Complete without S2 and S2 wouldn't be complete without S1. Just think of this as a whole Drama series with 16 episodes don't separate them it's really good. Was this review helpful to you?

Ignore the reviews and see for yourself!
So many hate for such an amazing project. Some moments are true, I agree, but to me season two is a MUST watch, definitely. It's different from season one, but that does not make it bad. People forgot that characters can change, story can change. So before listening to all the critique, watch both seasons for yourself, see what you like, what you don't.Was this review helpful to you?

Very rushed
I really loved season 1 and was waithing for this season to come out! But I am kinda disappointed. First of all I feel like this season is a little bit boring. It has either a fitting scene either a talking/ walking, plot scenes. But it felt like something was missing. Also they didn’t show us new characters background stories and made it confusing to understand WHY they are doing whatever they do. It felt very fast and rushed. I wish they made 10 episodes so there were no questions left.
I haven’t not read the webtoon, so i don’t know what is really true and what is added but i still feel like they missed a lot from the original plot.
To me it was very rushed, a bit dull and strange. Si Eun felt different and it is not bcs he has changed, its bcs they didn’t focused on him that much. Well i would say they didn’t focus on any character very much, probably because they had no time for that.
Also I don’t know what it is but the whay it was filmed and edited felt different, maybe they changes a production team. It made me feel like I am watching something new with a known backstory.
Overall I still give it a 9 bcs It is not bad and I still love this series but I hope they worked a little bit better on this season. I prefer season 1, if you ask me. ( I needed more SuHo scenes 🥲) I guess there’s gonna be a season 3 or else why would they put that scene at the end, right? 😅 At least I hope they won’t make us wait for 2 years;)

When Enough Is Enough
I'm not one to watch nor like the bullying/fighting genre, but damn!!!....Weak Hero Class just sucked me in. I saw advertisements for season 2, so I binged season 1. I had just finished watching the first season when the second started on Netflix. There are similarities, but they are not the same. This was nice as I do not like watching second anything and seeing a repeat of the first. The writer really made this as a continuation....a "what happens next" story. The ML, again, powerfully acted by Park Ji Hoon, is not only quiet and. stoic (as in the 1st), but he's also numb with a building undercurrent of anger, and overwhelmed with guilt. He is transferred to a new school, Eunjang, where he is precisely at for about 10 minutes when he again becomes the target of bullies. Beautifully acted. Understated, but powerful.
There is a gang of bullies, trying to get into the Union. The Union is another criminal organization led by a shadow crime boss who hides his organization behind gangs of school-age kids. The head high school gang member is trying to get his childhood best friend, Hu Min, to join the Union. Hu min is another character similar to Beom Seok in that he has an abusive, unsupportive father. However, unlike Beom Seok, Hu Min never turns against his friends. Si Eun, Hu Min, Jun Tae, and Hyeon Tak team up to rid their school of the bullies, help Hu Min fight against the pressures of joining the Union, and finally to stop the Union from existing. All of this plays out in highly choreographed fight scenes over and over again.
The ending is both happy, sad, and gives us a teaser of maybe another season. We get to see an awake but still recovering Su ho which is nice. However, there is a scene where Si Eun is unconscious dreaming that he is sitting in a boxing ring and Beom Seok is with him. So what did happen to Beom Seok? Did his father have him killed and we are seeing his spirit interacting with Si Eun? Or, is this just a teaser to seeing this character reappear in a future episode? Regardless, when Si Eun says he has to go, Beom Seok grabs his arm and cries. It is so sad. Even though Beom Seok's character in the first series was responsible for Su ho's coma, he is such a traumatized individual it is hard to hate him. Brilliantly played by Hong Kyung. We also see the death of Hu Min's childhood best friend, the leader of the Union gang. We also see the possibility of a new leader taking his place and with this the possibility of another season.
Yet another excellent story, powerful and emotional. The only thing I could criticize about this one is some of the students looked way to old to be in high school. But a superb addition to the Weak Hero Class franchise.
