Season 2 is a worth to watch!
Disclaimer: This review was created from my own point of view only. It doesn't affect the directors and the whole team of thia series. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW.The main character of Yeon Si-Eun was perfectly performed by the great young actor, Park Ji-hoon. The storyline was perfectly cooked to continue the season 1. I was expecting a bit back stories of Gotak and Jun-Tae or maybe this will be told in Season 3? Baku seems like an aura of Su-ho with an attitude to protect his dearest friends but of course in season 1 Su-ho'friendship was only Si-Eun...Hahaha...looking forward for season 3. Wait, Park Ji-hoon doesn't look aging...he looks the same from season 1. 😀😀😀. For me, this season 2 was perfectly created as a continuing part of season 1. This series can stand alone but if you really want to know why Si-Eun stops making friends, better to watch the prequel for a better understanding. Kudos to the whole team!!! Let's shout it out loud --- #WeakSeason3!!!!! with Su-ho of course. But let me add this please. One of the reasons why season 1 was loved because of the friendship that built up between Su-ho and Si-Eun and how they wanted to protect each other...that crossed by to the season 2. Perfect!!!! 👏👏👏👏

Weak Hero 2 = Weaker plot
April 28, 2025As a webtoon reader, it is a underwhelming season. 8 episodes felt very rushed. No build up or whatsoever, so many cuts and skimming among the plot. I understand that this is an adaptation but it just felt so bland. I think the reason why I will still give it an 8.5 is that if you did not read the webtoon then this season will be great for you.
But I feel so eugh, I have a bone to pick with the writers and producers of this season, they cut out so many important elements. My worries were already high when I found that it is only going to be an 8 ep season. And FUCK No. There better be no season 3 as this should just ended with this bs.

Newton's third law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
It was such a great drama. I would suggest every single thriller lover to watch this. It taught me sooo many things. I love the actors, they did a really good job. It's almost worth your whole time. I probably spent all day watching this. I love weak hero class 1 and 2 both. They deserve much more love. Was this review helpful to you?

First, for an anti-bullying drama that pretends to deplore physical violence, the apparent resolution to all of the physical violence is physical violence on an epic scale. That message is abhorrent, besides being completely unrealistic. After beating the crap out of each other, the guys just go home, take showers, wash their clothes, maybe blow dry their hair, and the violence stops? Plus I want to see the middle-aged sequel, where all of them developt CTE. (By the way, did anyone else think it was cute when everybody showed up with color coordinated umbrellas? Because nobody wants to get their hair or clothes wet before an epic fight in the mud.)There were other things. For example, women are depicted as useless accessories (the psychiatrist, the giggling arm candy, and the mother, whose specialty was delivering one liners then walking out of the room). That’s unsurprising in a drama that lives out a young boy’s revenge fantasy but it’s still irritating.
Oh wait. Answering violence with violence, viewing women as useless accessories. That view actually reflects much of the leadership in the world right now.

No Skips, No Boredom
⭐ Loved every second of it — and that’s incredibly rare for me.I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt this way about a drama. Even with shows I’ve really enjoyed recently, there are always points of criticism, or at least aspects that didn’t leave a strong impression.
But this? This was perfect — down to even the intro.
I’ve seen some negative reviews, but personally, I’m just grateful to have found something I genuinely loved from start to finish.
If I had to criticize something, I’d say Hu Min doesn’t quite have the aura of someone who supposedly maintained order in Eunjang and built this “epic fighter legend” image. However, I still enjoyed his character a lot — he just didn’t radiate that legendary vibe to me.
Overall:
OST: Amazing.
Acting/Performance: Phenomenal.
Visuals/Cinematography: Loved it.
Intro: No skip!
Story: Had me glued to the screen.
Pacing: Perfect.
Look, maybe I’m hyped because I just finished it... but after being a pretty critical watcher (after 200+ dramas), I’m just thrilled to finally enjoy something this much.
Weak Hero Class 2 definitely earned a spot on my favorites list. 💥

The healing chapter
A thrilling second season we waited for, but somehow was lacking something.. It was still a great watch but it's a shame Si-Eun's wits and fighting skills were not emphasized that much compared to the first season. The way he calculates the probabilities of winning and making use of his surroundings is what makes him unique. Maybe it's because I just couldn't get enough of his fight scenes X'3Season 2 was great on its own too. In my opinion, this season was made to focus a little bit more on how Si-Eun and his new friends heal from their past wounds. On the other hand, season 1 was more about his growth and friendship.

Newton’s Third Law: to every action, there’s always opposed an equal reaction.
“suho-ya, even with sleeping pills, i can’t fall asleep. there’s no way i can fall asleep. when are you going to wake up?”“i just want everyone to leave me alone. as if i don’t exist”
“it’s not a rumor… that’s why i never wanted to fight with the other kids. ever again.” ☹️☹️☹️
the way they flipped it on si eun and blamed him for suho being in a coma is actually insane??? all that after taking away his best friend from him too WTF
SIEUN ALMOST SMILING IN EPISODE THREE AFTER MAKING FRIENDS ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK AND KILLED ME I LOVE HIM SM
“if you step foot near su ho’s hospital again… you are all dead. i will certainly kill all of you”
“suho-ya, i got into another fight. i’m sorry”
“baku, gotak and i know that you visit your friend at the hospital, and why he’s in the hospital. i think what happened wasn’t because of you. so i wanted to tell you that it wasn’t your fault”
“i don’t want to leave. my friends said that it wasn’t my fault” SIEUN DESERVES THE WORLD I ADORE HIM
SUHO WAKING UP AND MAKING AN APPEARANCE AT THE END ALMOST SENT ME INTO A COMA I LITERALLY SLAPPED MY LAPTOP SO HARD. although lowkey when i first watched the show i knew they weren’t just gonna kill him and that he was gonna make a comeback but after not seeing him the entire time while watching s2, i lost hope. his 2 minutes screen time made my entire year tho i missed him sm ☹️☹️☹️

Season 2 Seriously Delivered
I just finished Weak Hero Class Season 2, and wow it did not disappoint. i already loved season one so much.So I was really excited about this. The story picks up in a new setting with new faces, but it keeps that intense, datk vibe that made Season 1 so amazing and catching. I really appreciated how it dove even deeper into the characters this time, especially Si-eun. He’s still sharp and calculating, but now you really feel the emotional weight he’s carrying. One thing that really stuck with me was the emotional depth this season isn’t just about fights (though those are still brutal and very well done). It’s about the scars left behind. si-euns guilt hit especially hard. Watching him try to navigate that pain and make sense of what happened added a lot of heart to the story.
Overall, it's deep, smart, and emotionally heavy in the best way. Definitely one of the strongest dramas I’ve ever watched. i'm really excited for season three and have high hopes

A Violent Delinquent Repeating a Grade
--Review--Like the main character, season 1 was like a promising student that had abruptly suspended his studies. There was obvious potential‒high production value, slick action choreography, and excellent acting‒but the student had to drop out before completing the year (or story). So I gave it a high score. But in reality, it was an incomplete grade with the hope that there was a good reason S1 ended without a proper resolution and that S2 would complete the story.
But noooo, it turns out that the student simply abandoned his studies and is now at a new school. And he's now doing the exact same shit as the previous year and reusing the same essays and slick-looking incomplete assignments. Except this year, he's not even putting as much effort into the 'promising student schtick'‒with worse plot logic and character development. As it turns out, there wasn't even a legit reason for him to drop out last year‒he bullied and beat up some kid.
Because boys and girls, that's where we are. Your taciturn hero who confronts bullies is actually a violent bully asshole himself, and one who is scamming you for sympathy. I gave it 3 episodes before this became painfully evident. First we fuckall'ed the characters and unfinished story from S1. Then we get the same nasty bullies, the braindead miscommunication leading to the fight between ML and the basketball guy, and then another superfighter-protector-cooldude creating another wholesome friend group, and my gosh a new Big Bad from outside the school. Even the Taekwando guy from S1 can tell you he's seen this movie before, and he's in a coma.
Beneath the slick production and acting, the story is just a psychotic mess to provide repeated excuse for brutal fight scenes, which the show does very well. And in between those head crackers are flimsy ploys and backstories to scam you for sympathy‒you know, the same pity-me story used last year with a few names changed here and there. But in the end, it's just a shallow disguise on top of the same story, same fights, same character dynamics, and I suspect, yet another excuse to repeat the scam another year.
So really, this show is just the personification of a violent delinquent thug repeating a grade. Oh, he's also running around with sob stories scamming people for money. Because he's just another derivative henchman working for the newest TV crime syndicate called Netflix that's plundered its way into hundred billion dollar valuation while sucking dry what little creativity remains in TV and film. I look forward to this being renewed for 5 more seasons.

Weak Hero
I think season 2 was left upended in the hopes that they would probably make a season 3 if the chance arises, that's also why it was kind of unsatisfying. I still enjoyed, quite literally binged it in one sitting. While the emotions were really intense, they struggled with the story line a little bit.The fight scenes were really intense in this one. Like I was really worried about them just walking off after every battle. They needed to check themselves into a clinic since they were worried about going to a hospital or something, there had to have been internal bleeding at some. Gettiny hit on the head with a metal pipe is no joke and he just walked it off. Insane!!
Also, they cut a huge chunk of the webtoon out. There was a particular character who was like really strong but unproblematic and we didn't even get to see him.
Hopefully, they do the next season more justice and it doesn't just turn to another netflix cash cow.

Honestly? (Spoilers Waarning!)
EP4 fight!!!! Pure madness, Desperation, Sadness, crushing Guilt and raw GRIEF. I felt it all!! best scene of the series!!!Till EP5 it was really good, but somehow it lost its spark. I was bored most of the time, which I did not expect, given how excited I was for Class 2.
The last fight was BRUTAL, like whaat?!
When SuHo woke up and said, "How's it going?" to Si-Eun, I felt like crying because "lately I've tried other things, but nothing can capture the sting" they're the CANON!!
I also felt really bad for Na Baek-Jin. He deserved a better life, and I have a feeling Baku is going to carry a lot of guilt over what happened. My heart already hurts for him.
Hopefully, there will be a Class 3 with the same cast (and with SuHo!!) but fingers crossed for a stronger storyline next time.
The storyline definitely stumbled, but the actors? They absolutely carried the show with their performances.

Great Genre Great Acting
I'll start off by saying I'm biased. I'm a lover of this genre. Wind Breaker, Crows Zero, High x Low. There's something about the "We're barely doing actual school and focusing on gang rivalries." That I find extremely entertaining. Anything in the genre is automatically holding my entire attention by the throat. The elements of found family and the tropes that the characters often take on from the goofy happy leader who can kick everyone's ass to the nerd who can barely fight but is the most loyal and passionate. I love it.Everyone did such a good job continuing the story. I lived that the character development was careful and considerate to show parallel experiences to deepen the bonds of friendship in the plot. I'm so excited to see what comes next.
Also, Park Jihoon is such a dynamic and charismatic actor. Everyone did a really great job, but there's just something about his hard work and execution that really carries this show to a new level of entertainment.
