Some parts good, many parts unsatisfying, but I never thought of dropping so ig worth watching
The beginning was quite good because of the characters and the premise...then it slowed down after the 2nd relic...and everything started feeling so, so repetitive at the 4th relic...then it got pretty interesting at the 5th relic...the 6th was interesting but the end was disappointing...then at the 7th relic it got pretty boring.But I wouldn't say I exactly regret this watch because the times it was interesting, it was quite good. It was just that besides the 1st relic and maybeeee the 5th relic, a lot of the relics got resolved in a rather unsatisfying way in the sense that everything just seemed to fall into place rather nicely.
Some scene transitions felt choppy. As for the team, they were moderately likable, but 13 thousand was barely tolerable. The Leopard arc could've had more time put into it and really was such a disappointment because it had so much potential to live up to how terrifying the backstory was (and I also agree that Leopard should've been dubbed better). And the last arc was actually just plain embarrassing.

Cured My Short Attention Span. Lol.
Let me put my thoughts here. This would've been a solid 10/10 if not for that questionable ending. I mean, I'm happy that it's a H.E. but that last episode really left me questioning things but despite that, the journey I had with this drama was amazing and worth the watch still. (I read some comments here before I binge watched this so I really was curious how this series ended before I got to EP1 but since I didn't check the ending first, I really felt like I am being left with an assignment to find out more... Lol)
Okay, let's start with the characters,
I personally think 4/5 of the team was casted perfectly. Everyone except MU DAI's actress. Not a fan of the others but I know Ao Rui Peng would deliver good acting since I have also seen his others works before and I like some of his acting in them. For Mudai, i like her chemistry with Lou Ren overall. I'm also fine with the romance blossoming in here even without kissing scenes which I personally think 1 kiss on a crucial moment would've been nice but I do know the actress doesn't do that. Nevertheless, they did the romance aspect quite good. Subtle and it doesn't take the main theme of the story.
However, my issue with her is when I need her to be acting her heart out sometimes, she doesn't do that. Again, ON SOME PARTS. If you've watched the series fully, I feel like some of you here would agree with me. She still did great but I guess there was this one episode I wanted her to really showcase her acting skills but I was left with just blank expression at that part but anyway, I guess for this genre it's not going to be a big deal.
As for the PLOT, I rarely watch Cdramas (especially modern ones) that I didn't have to skip or speed up. Every scene makes me want to pay attention even more in case I would miss out on details..so it definitely got me watching continuously because every end of episodes, they'd leave me hanging so of course, I'd want to start the next episode right away. It's really good! However, there were episodes that felt lacking and it did feel like the magic and mystery that the 1st 5 episodes gave were missing.. but still the story progressed quite good. Just leaves me now to the ending part.
What was the ending even about?
With All that build up, you would expect an intense fight just like how the fight happened with the 6th omen lady.. maybe even more intense considering how amazing the story in the 1st 5 episodes delivered but it was just really lacking in so many ways. For someone that's so called the leader of the omens, I'd expect an intense battle to have the 5 descendants comply with his wishes but no.. instead we just got to the illusions and then after these leads were out, it's like that's just it..
So overall, it felt like discovering a really good show with super incredible pacing and stories in it to be met with a questionable ending. Like yeah, it's HAPPY. I'm happy with them too but there are questions left Unawered for me.
P.S. I expected the chicken to have some important significance in the show actually considering the shadow appeared as phoenix but it also ended up just being a "warmer" on a crucial time when everyone's still in the illusion and while they're all in the mountain during the snowstorm. I find it weird but they could've utilise that chicken better aside from being the warmer and plucking out omen 6's eye (a.k.a the omen itself)
Anyway, that's all. This is still such a solid watch but don't expect too much on the ending I guess. Just enjoy the story build up and be happy It's a happy ending.

I love the Weilong and Hao Cun's tandem. They have undeniable chemistry since Just for Meeting You. This isn't a romance drama but how I wish they have one.
This drama is full of adventure and I love how Liu Hao Cun plays two characters here - one who is innocent and tough yet sweet and easily cries, and the other one is badass I-don't-care-about-you.
Hao Cun and Weilong became a couple in the drama, they're my comfort couple tbh.
P.S. This drama also casted a charmer. Don't let RuiPeng charm you in episode 17, cause I was. I watched because I saw reels about the badass Hao Cun and the handsome Wei Long, but I finished the drama crushing on Rui Peng. 😅

Love Song Wei Long but not the Female lead
I absolutely love Song Wei Long in every drama and movie he is in. I think he is a great actor on top of being extremely handsome and sexy. This drama so far is interesting, however I do NOT like the female lead actress at all, it would be better if they choose someone more mature. Her acting is extremely poor and immature like a child drooling over her love crush, it's so annoying. She is more focused on falling inlove with the male lead rather than help solve the mystery of the relics. This is suppose to be a quest to subdue the Seven Relics of Ill Omen NOT a Romance quest. I have to skip over parts of her childlessly acting flirting like an idiot towards the male lead because it is so annoying and has nothing to do with their actual mission. Could be better if they chose a better more mature actress. I'll continue to watch only because I'm interested in the the Seven Relics of Ill Omen and I love Song Wei Long and Ao Rui Peng.Was this review helpful to you?
From the opening scene, the atmosphere is thick with tension. The cinematography leans into shadow and symbolism, which pairs well with the haunting score. Episode 1 lays the groundwork with the discovery of the first relic, immediately setting a chilling tone. The pacing might feel a bit slow at times, but it gives room to explore each character's backstory, especially the tormented lead, Kael, whose connection to the relics seems deeper than he admits.
By Episode 2 and 3, the plot starts to widen. We’re introduced to more of the ensemble—each carrying their own burdens and suspicions. The lore starts to unfold through flashbacks and cryptic visions, which keeps the mystery alive. The dialogue occasionally borders on exposition-heavy, but the actors manage to deliver it with conviction.
Episode 4 is where things finally start to escalate. The stakes rise, and the second relic’s appearance hints at a larger, more dangerous pattern. The cliffhanger ending leaves a lasting impact and raises the anticipation for what’s to come.
Overall, these opening episodes do a good job of setting the tone, building the world, and teasing bigger twists. If you enjoy series that mix fantasy, darkness, and slow-burn suspense, The Seven Relics of Ill Omen might be worth diving into.

So far so good
Watched up to ep 4, its good. The fighting scenes is great almost like Wuxia/ Xinxia genre when you can running then fly. If you like supernatural story this is for you. But what I like most is the Ost by Liu Yuning 😁 as Expected from Song Wei Long. The FL not a fan of her from her latest drama but in this onr she's not so bad.Was this review helpful to you?

Une aventure de bon augure...
Invisibilisé pour une obscure raison, The Seven Relics of Ill Omen est un excellent mélange d'aventures et de fantastique avec un casting solide et une bande son efficace.Le club des cinq était formidable. J'ai adoré suivre chacun d'eux, mais aussi les voir s'unir. Chacun a apporté quelque chose aux intrigues, mais aussi dans la vie des autres. Ce groupe respirait la fraternité de la meilleure des façons. Tous les acteurs étaient excellents. Le couple principal était mignon. J'ai apprécié que la romance ne soit qu'un fil de l'intrigue, préférant que l'amitié soit plus importante.
L'histoire a offert pas mal de scènes d'action et de combat, toutes étaient dynamiques. Parfois un peu absurdes, mais cela ne serait pas un bon drama chinois sans ça. La plupart des CGI étaient bonnes, bien qu'inégales. Les épisodes sont construits de sorte à ce qu'il se passe toujours quelque chose. Néanmoins, les derniers épisodes sont précipités, ce qui laisse une amertume dans l'air. Ne serait-ce que l'arc autour de Leopard. En plus, l'actrice ne semblait pas si inspirée pour son personnage parce qu'elle paraissait fausse la plupart du temps. J'avais du mal à croire en sa cruauté. Quant aux deux derniers épisodes, j'ai décidé de ne pas m'y attarder davantage.
En bref, The Seven Relics of Ill Omen est un drama entraînant entre action, aventures et fantastique. Avec une narration dynamique, on s'amuse aux côtés des personnages particulièrement attachants.

Que drama MARAVILHOSO!!!!!!
A cada episódio, mais emoção e mistério e te prende até o final, e o que mais me marcou foi como os traumas e conflitos emocionais dos personagens foram tratados com profundidade. Antes de enfrentarem as situações, eles precisaram lidar com as próprias dores e isso foi muito bem desenvolvido.O final foi incrível. Mostra que o passado, por mais doloroso que seja, molda quem somos e pode nos levar a novos começos. A narrativa mostra que certos desencontros e dores acabam nos conduzindo a encontros inesperados e a caminhos mais leves. Somos feitos de restos passados, tudo nos transforma a quem somos hoje.
Apesar da fantasia e da ficção científica, o drama traz reflexões reais sobre emoções, escolhas e crescimento pessoal. A história é complexa, com toques históricos, mas tem um desfecho à altura, na minha opinião não tinha um final melhor. É sobre empatia, perdão, superação, romance, lutas incríveis e até humor. O casal secundário me deixou bem felizinha, pq os dois combinavam demais!!!!
Vale muito a pena assistir, principalmente se você gosta de ficção científica e mistérios com conteúdo emocional.

O roteiro não é bom, os personagens não cativam. As atuações deixam a desejar, pelo menos, aos atores Ao Rui Peng, Wang Yi Ting e Zhang Yi Chi criaram algumas cenas engraçadas. Os protagonistas principais não tinham nenhuma química e a atuação da LF é menos convincente que de muitos coadjuvantes. Os efeitos (ou defeitos), especiais são cruéis. Bom! Mas não ótimo.
Minha avaliação é meio tendenciosa, porque 1) assisti esse drama junto com outros dois, e 2) demorei muito tempo pra terminar, assistindo um pouco aqui, pouco lá, e isso sempre piora minha experiência! Então vamos lá!Pontos positivos: A premissa da história é muito boa, e de fato, a história das relíquias é realmente muito interessante, tipo, MUITO legal, (e foi isso que me fez finalizar o drama), o que não posso dizer o mesmo da execução. O elenco é muito bom também, boas atuações, e tirando os protagonistas, os demais personagens eram simpáticos/legais, no sentido de nos captar mesmo. Apesar de muitas histórias dentro da principal, achei a resolução de todas elas muito boas!! A da Mu Dai, da ilha de pérolas, achei ótimas! OST ótimas tbm.
Pontos negativos: Romance. PRA QUÊ? Assim, até ok ter, mas de maneira sutil, sabe? Achei que teve muito tempo de tela reservado pra isso que não precisava. Não fez o casal ter mais química do que se eles fossem só amigos, poderia ser mais sutil esse ponto. No começo a FL é muito, mais muito, irritante!!! Por sorte melhorou depois. O FL não tem nada de especial na personalidade... Sei lá, nem um ponto forte a se lembrar, era ok. Acho que teve histórias demais dentro da ideia das relíquias. A história final, da Leopardo, então: CHATÍSSIMA. Mas as outras (principalmente as iniciais ali) foram bem legais. Senti o Chubby meio de escanteio também, como se as cenas dele não fossem tão importantes quanto as dos demais. Motivos? Desconheço. Leopard e a Sétima Relíquia me pareceram muito fáceis de vencer, depois de tudo o que fizeram e o que eles passaram. Mas pode ter sido impressão já que os últimos episódios foram MUITO corridos (o 30 foi uma bagunça né, aquele plot DESNECESSÁRIO do FL em coma um mês, pqp, sem carga dramática nenhuma, fora de tom, não agregou nada, podiam ter tirado). O cgi vou nem comentar porque não gosto nem dos bem feitos, quem dirá dos ruins KKKKKKKKKKK as cenas de luta achei muito vibe "videogame", não sei se gostei até agora... Enfim, deve ter mais uma coisa ou outra, mas não vale a pena comentar.
É um drama que mescla ótimos episódios com episódios chatíssimos, não tem muito o que fazer. É o tipo de drama que você precisa assistir e tirar suas próprias conclusões.
