i looooove dramas about games.

'everyone loves me' is a good romance drama, there is a misunderstading that prolongs for a long time, but i don't think it makes the drama angst, just makes the quarrells happen for a long time. for me, it improved the development of the relationship better, since they had to go through all the stages of friendship. he ran after her, she accepted him as a friend, until they felt so much for each other that you could see the chemistry through their eyes.

i have two complaints about the drama in general
1. the ml has a situation with this mother that is never fixed (at least, its not shown)
2. the quality of the game they play together ir so weird... looks like cs but... cartoonish?

but if we ignore that, we have a healthy relationship, maybe more fights then we expect from a healthy one, but honestly bickering in relationships is so common i wish i could see this more often in dramas.

anyway, i looooooooove the actress that portraits the fl, she is so beautiful! i also really liked lin yi acting, but i feel like he is overrated? or maybe male actors are overrated in general and that just makes me more open and protective towards actresses. anyways. i liked the whole cast.

Cute Romantic Modern Cdrama

honestly I watched this for Lin Yi but stayed for Zhou Ye. I love love love the storyline tho, since the whole plot with him rejecting her but it was actually her who he liked in the online game was so cute and the way he was chasing her, give a gu xun pls !! Also Lin Yi has chemistry with anyone. Honestly for this show, if anyone is looking for lighthearted and cheesy romcom it is perfect, the comedy is also okay, made me laugh a few times to LOL and a very enjoyable second watch for a cdrama for me. This show made me so intrigued by Zhou Ye that i started wanting to watch many of her shows. If you needed like a good refresher of a show ( i did watch this after till the end of the moon ) IT DID HEAL MY HEART TO BE HONEST. like the conflict between the main leads weren't as big as the ml and fl of till the end of the moon and i was grateful for that tbh. Hope to watch more dramas like this in the future !!

Nice, easy, low trauma watch with cute leads

I really enjoyed this series since it was easy to watch, mostly pleasant, and the leads were good. It does not break any new ground, and some criticisms in the reviews are spot on, but nonetheless I enjoyed the show. I really like the FL who did a really nice job playing the role from overly sweet (part of the plot), to in-your-face gamer and assertive woman, to geniunely sweet and empathetic. The ML, who drove me nuts in Put Your Head on My Shoulder (a series with one of the worst endings ever, although not the ML's fault) did a really good job here. I think the main couple did have good chemistry.

My main criticism is the loss of trust by the FL for the ML near the end of the show. Yeah, it was brought on by yet another failure to communicate, but still. That was annoying.

The OST was pretty good for a CDrama. I bought a few of the songs off of iTunes (U.S.) by searching for this: 以爱之名

Anyway, for a light, fluffy watch, it is worth it. It was a good antidote to my just having watched Forever and Ever which was too heavy and slow. (Except for Bail Lu, of course :-) ).

Everyone Loves Me – She Loved First, but He Loved Harder

She loved first, but he loved harder—and desperately!

This was such a fun, easy watch. It starts with the FL having feelings first, but the real twist comes when the ML discovers that the girl he rejected is actually his longtime online crush. From that moment on, the tables turn, and the pursuer becomes the pursued. Watching him go from indifferent to absolutely smitten was so entertaining.

It reminded me a lot of Love O2O with its online gaming premise, so if you enjoyed Yang Yang’s legendary drama, there’s a good chance you’ll like this one too!

A Lighthearted Laugh Fest with a Side of Silly Circles

Everybody Loves Me offers a delightful romp into the realm of romantic comedies, perfectly suited for viewers seeking a lighthearted escape without the need for deep analysis. This drama hits the sweet spot if you're in the mood for a hearty laugh. That said, the plot does tend to wander a bit, looping around in circles which may leave you scratching your head over some of the less sensible developments. But if it's fun and chuckles you're after, these quirks are easily overlooked in favour of the overall entertainment value.

I loved it and didn't love it at the same time

I was really liking the drama till the fourteen or fifteenth episode, when I checked the reviews for fun, they weren't very nice to look at and I thought perhaps there was something missing. But I realized in the end that while this was really fun to watch and I squealed so many times and laughed a lot, there were a few things missing. I'm hoping there's another season so that the storyline actually resolves itself.
So first things first : what I liked about this drama:
The visuals, if it were someone else I don't think I would be able to watch those 'naive' girl scenes.
The characters were really fun to watch and I loved the leads' personalities.
The first fifteen episodes were so adorable and I did relate a lot to them.
The fact that Yue cursed out Gu Xan during the games but tried to impress him during the days made me laugh a lot, so their interactions were enjoyable.
There are a lot of different things I enjoyed along with this.
Now the cons.
Like I mentioned before, I thought people must have missed something while watching, but as I watched the later episodes I realized the problem.
Netflix mentioned a lot of scenes which didn't really happen, like the wedding or the dates, so I was kind of disappointed.
The gaming part disappeared midway and while it wasn't noticeable i would have like to see it more often, the puppy went missing too.
The entire drama was more revolving around the work life of the leads and the initial fight stretched out quite a bit.
I think that's what was off putting about this along with how late the main leads get together and I don't really mind that since I've seen a lot of dramas like that but the fact that there weren't a lot of actual dates we could see really saddened me.
In conclusion I think that you should go for it regardless, I've given it a nine despite all of this because I really though the plot while not extra ordinary was sweet and simple. It was fluffy and really cute, did I mentioned I squealed a lot. And I'm not the person to show a lot of emotions while watching stuff. So I hope you give it a try and if you ignore a bit of those cons it will lead to a delightful watch.

Light and fun

I don't usually watch C-dramas and I just randomly saw the title as I was browsing in Netflix. Intrigued as I had zero idea about the cast, I find that the leads have a great chemistry, the push-pull factor and the comic scenes in between were fun to watch, however, like the other reviews, it was lacking in the fluff and romantic side when the leads are finally together. Cannot believe that their first kiss scene (a peck, to say the least) happened in ep 20. Other scenes could've done better, especially the anticipation on how they will officially launch themselves as a couple in their company, among others, but those scenes were cut short, or at least not given the chance to build on.

OST is great and though some scenes and even the plot itself is predictable, at least this show has no annoying character who got much of the screen time or extends the conflict. The second pair has a balanced exposure with the main leads and no annoying backstory either. Though the ending feels a bit rush, wishing I would've seen the leads playing and promoting their own game.

Good enough to watch, but not «standout»

So this was a nice watch, but it wasn’t really anything special or standout about it.
Quite lighthearted, with some charm and humour.

FL was good, and I liked her character when she was her true self, with loud outbursts and scoldings.
ML was also quite good - I just sometimes felt he appeared more as a goofy puppy that could trip in his own legs, than a successful young director, lol.

As for the topic this series is portraying, the gaming industry, it falls a bit into the «slightly bragging, nationalistic» bucket, although it is not as strong about it as some other dramas.

Brief synopsis from my POV:
FL gathers her courage and confesses her love to fellow graduating student on graduation day. He brutally rejects her, as he is in love with his female online gamer-friend, who is though and ruthless. FL and ML end up working in the same company, and gradually grows closer, although she keeps him at an arm’s length due the previous rejection. He then finds out her true identity, and strongly regrets his brutal rejection of her. Can he draw her close again, and how will she react when/if she learns his online identity?
At the same time there are of course some business hardships to overcome.

This drama it’s really good. I really love the actors they both have a chemistry together. I really like the trope of this drama, the she fell first he fell harder, the slow burnn
I think this is definitely rewatch able because the storyline is very light. I NEED MOREEEEEEEEE 24 EPISODES IS DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH I REALLY HOPE THERE WILL BE A SEASON 2. I LITERALLY FINISHED THIS DRAMA LESS THAN A WEEK

started off really well but became flat way too fast

I don’t want to write a long review so I will just state the main points (just finished it, thought I found a gem but ended up wasting my time)

✅ lots of expectations at the beginning because it started off really well and the editing was great
✅ the female lead personality at the beginning was promising (real one, not the cutesy whatever that was)
✅ the video game immersion was interesting (I loved it in Love Scenery) at the beginning only
✅ second lead couple is cute
✅ I love Lin Yi’s acting usually (I have to put that here cause I ain’t got any other good point to state for the positive side)

❌ no chemistry between the leads
❌ no romance, completely missed the romcom part
❌ the editing after the first 6-7 episodes makes no sense, they make you expect something but completely ruin it and goes straight to the next day for some reason ?
❌ the female lead was okay at first but gradually becomes unbearable and very toxic, I was very disappointed about that because I related to her at the beginning
❌ the plot becomes super flat, anything and nothing happen it’s very blurry
❌ no time to actually care about anything
❌ editing, directing AND scriptwriting could have been much better, it got so bad towards the end that it was painful to watch
❌ just what the actual hell was the part with the parents meeting ???????? like, what ??? felt like a fever dream
❌ the ending was complete garbage to be honest, it was rushed and not satisfying at all

yeah so my final advice would be, if you are genuinely extremely bored, why not ? 🤓

but if you are looking for a really good drama with a great plot, good chemistry, satisfying editing and characters, and most of all, ACTUAL romantic scenes and relationship development

don’t waste your time 🤗

here are some recommendations to watch instead :
- Love Scenery (with Lin Yi but much MUCH better)
- Hidden Love (if you’ve been into drama for a while you probably already watch it)
- The Romance Of Tiger And Rose (my guilty pleasure, Zhao Lusi will entertain you all the way and the plot is innovative as well)
- Till The End Of The Moon (Luo Yunxi and Bailu’s chemistry is excellent and the overall plot got me on a chokehold all the way through)

thank you for reading this and have a great time watching dramas :)

Even a good plot can get dragged around

When I started this drama, it was going well. The first 7 episodes were really fast-paced and captivating. The hidden circumstances and the FL making the moves and the ML who has eyes only on the FL's hidden ID. They were so close but then again so far. Even the second couple also, they were so fluffy.
The drama made sure that nothing was truly hidden. Just fogged up in the scenario. It's not even a misunderstanding. It just happens and I genuinely loved that idea. It wasn't cliche and it was new.
But then writers decided that such an original play was too much and added the agendas that popped the balloon. i dont want to spoil but elements like the unnecessary SML, making the FL immature and foregoing issues.
I get it. Its a drama. Its supposed to be draggy and cliche but when the fast-paced drama decides to take a turn, its not a good feeling. It was going a 10 but suddenly something changed and its still good but not the same.
The acting was good. Its great that they could pull a lot of hilarious scripts. Like the lion dancing scene. Couldnt keep a straight face. I could watch most of the drama cause the visuals were great. (Sorry for being vain)
The second couple however delivered. Through thick and thin, they were amazing. Not much jealous and cute.

This is a first for me....

This drama sadly I had to drop....

This is a first for me dropping a drama with a rating of 7/10....

Reason I gave this a 7 is because the acting by the 2 main leads 'Zhou Ye & Lin Yi' was actually better than good, been excellent..... However sadly there is limitations to excellent.... Storyline pretty boring, bland, simple.... Support actors really not that great....

There is only so much that 2 main leads can carry this drama,... The romance angle relied to much on comedic repetition and when surrounded by the limitations I have mentioned that's when had to say dropping this drama at EP9....

Overall still very impressed with Zhou Ye & Lin Yi, felt chemistry between the two was very very good. Hope to see these 2 again soon in a better well grounded script & more experienced support cast.... Potential for these 2 together is there....
