Magnum Opus!
This is one of those rare journeys that comes along every so often that initially seems so straightforward but ends up becoming a transcendent traversal.This gently told paragon may be the best-written and best-acted BL of the year. The foundation begins rather mundane and, in a sense, ordinary. By its end, however, it may prompt you to reflect on your own life and think back to moments when you wished you had maybe disappeared or imagined being someone else who might have made you feel more understood and appreciated. What would happen if you really did disappear…. But in the process, you realize that what you had all along was exactly what you had been looking for and seeking? Is it now too late as the reality that one might drift into oblivion? It seeks to answer the question: What happens if what one impulsively wished for, actually came true? Yet not in the utopian sense one thought it would have.
This fantasy is a soft, gentle, deeply reflective, pensive, and introspective parable. Yet, it contains two of the most passionate love stories to come out in a long time, both with such genteel touches. Simply enjoy its themed message and ask yourself: What would happen if your essence suddenly disappeared, yet you remained? How would you sense having never existed yet here you are? It makes you think about this perhaps for your own epitaph.

This series was really great, it had everythisng i could ask for. Lovable mains, a great story, a bit of fantasy, stunning visuals and beautiful music. A beautiful story about discovering your worth.I really can't come up with a single negative point.
All the actors did an amazing job!
Both couples had amazing chemistry, amazing kisses and that NC scene in episode 8 was just beautiful!
This is a musy watch!

VERY WORTH THE WATCH!!!
I just wanted to say that this series was really good and I can't believe it's over 😭😤😔💔 the story, the acting, the plot, the actors and actresses very well planned.I hope to see more series in the future very good 😊 👍 but still, I cannot believe how many good series has been released this year even I can't keep up watching them 😭😭 but it's fine it's a good thing that this genre is expanding more and people will release more series I remember like it was yesterday that it was like a some shortage I wanted to watch more series but it was limited the people who makes these.

I’m just genuinely thankful for the creators of this series
I finally finished the entire series of Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars, and I can confidently say I made the right decision to watch it. This series truly deserves to be called one of the best BL dramas I’ve seen.What I loved most is that it never became tiring to watch. Every scene felt meaningful, engaging, and beautifully directed. Even the flashbacks — which are usually the parts I dislike most in dramas — were handled so well here. They added emotion and depth without dragging the story down or becoming exhausting.
The cast was absolutely wonderful. Every actor delivered such sincere and natural performances that made the characters feel real and easy to connect with. Nothing felt exaggerated or forced. You could genuinely feel every emotion in the quiet moments, conversations, and dramatic scenes.
And honestly, the director clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The storytelling, pacing, emotional balance, and scene execution were all crafted with so much care. I cried through every dramatic scene because the emotions felt authentic, never corny or overly dramatic just for the sake of making viewers cry.
The music also deserves appreciation because it blended perfectly with the atmosphere of the series. It supported the emotions beautifully without overpowering the scenes.
I’m genuinely thankful to the creators, cast, and production team for making a BL series like this. This is the kind of storytelling I hope we continue to see more of in the future — grounded, emotional, sincere, and beautifully written.
This series honestly deserves awards, and I truly hope the team behind it creates more projects in the future.

Taiwanese BL Comeback?!
This has the potential to resurrect Taiwanese BL, which hasn't popped off lately. You'll first notice the high-end cinematography and color grading matched with a beautiful island town backdrop. It's eye candy in every scene. And every character/relationship has a bit of mystery to their backstory. The touch of supernatural elements while still being grounded in reality is the final cherry on top.Besides that, the acting, writing, and perfect sound effects are great. There's no wasted fluff. Though at this point I don't feel the chemistry between the 2 leads, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it's only ep2.
I have high hopes for this one and will update with new thoughts!

Intriguée au début, sceptique au milieu, déçue à la fin…
Le problème n'est pas tant l'intrigue, mais son rythme. L'histoire prend son temps, se développe tranquillement, mais elle oublie que les choses doivent revenir à la normale. Et lorsque cela arrive, tout s'enchaîne trop vite, on délaisse des tas de chemins et on perd la magie originale.Les acteurs sont bons. Sur le papier, j'ai une préférence pour le couple secondaire. Dans les faits, le couple principal possède une meilleure alchimie.
Je regrette sincèrement que la relation père-fils n'ait pas été davantage explorée. Elle représentait un élément central de l'intrigue. Pourquoi en faire autant si c'est pour l'ignorer ? D'autant plus que la relation avait un réel impact sur les deux. Finalement, rien ne se passe.
Les décors sont magnifiques et l'ambiance estivale fait illusion. J'ai adoré me balader dans ce drame pour ces raisons. En revanche, la direction prise par l'arc fantastique ? Pourquoi insister autant sur quelque chose qui pouvait rester discret et seulement une petite touche d'originalité ? Je n'aime pas tout ce discours autour de ce phénomène qui ne sert, finalement, à rien.
Néanmoins, c'est une production bien meilleure par rapport à ce que Taïwan a proposé ces deux dernières années.
En bref, Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars est beau à regarder avec des acteurs attachants, et cela malgré une narration qui manque de rythme et une touche fantastique décevante.

As atuações foram perfeitas, tanto das personagens principais quanto do elenco de apoio. O casal principal foi ótimo, tem muita química e passam perfeitamente bem o que os personagens estão sentindo. Além disso, o desenvolvimento da história deles, mesmo que perpassado por todas aquelas questões de distorção do espaço e tempo, foi incrível. Ver a amizade deles florescendo na escola e depois sentir que estavam finalmente se encontrando e podendo se amar foi muito recompensante. Ademais, a relação do He Xiangyong com seu pai foi linda e aqueceu meu coração.
O casal secundário não fica pra trás, muito bem desenvolvidos e extremamente bons!! Odeio sentir em bls que o casal secundário está ali só pra passar tempo de episódio, nesse bl isso não aconteceu. Suas cenas eram interessantes e você torcia para eles tanto quanto para o principal.
Gostei de QUASE tudo. O final foi satisfatório, mas acredito que poderia ser melhor desenvolvido e explicado. Acredito que por falta de tempo para mais episódios, decidiram fazer uma resolução mais acelerada. O que na minha opinião prejudicou a conclusão da história. Entretanto, ainda gostei das lições que o "teste da estrela cadente" ensinou, e de certa forma foi uma maneira de finalizar com um final feliz!

Taiwan! apa kabar series bagus mu😃 udah beberapa tahun kebelakang series BAGUS dari Taiwan itu cuman bisa dihitung jari. terakhir aku ter uwow sama BL Taiwan itu See Your Love sama The On1y One. jujur yang Secret Lover itu awal awal bagus tapi makin ke ending makin agak red flag sih jadi ga aku masukin ke list top tier Taiwan BL. anywayy what im trynna say is, INI SERIES BAGUS BANGET COKKKKK SUMPAH COKKKK.Yang pertama, SINEMATOGRAFI.
karena saya sangat sensitif terhadap series kurang budget, jujur series ini udah diatas ekspektasi ku sih. karena sinematografi nya itulohh, definisi NIAT banget. sampai adegan nyemplung ke dasar laut/diving pun detail banget pengambilan gambar nya. kru nya ikut nyemplung kah? sumpah mantepp banget, mata kita dimanjakan oleh keindahan pulau XINPUUUUUU. apparently, pulau Xinpu itu pulau fiksi ges wkwkwk tapi lokasi asli nya nyata, kalau ga salah sih didekat nya Kaohsiung, jadi yang setiap kali karakter di series ini nyebutin kalau mereka mau ke "main island" itu mungkin maksud nya ke Kaohsiung kali yaa, karena kota besar metropolis dan semua utility ada disana.
Yang kedua, plot.
Jujur gweh salut karena mereka berhasil men-deliver storyline yang menurutku agak susah dicerna buat para short attention span kayak aku :'). butuh beberapa kali mencerna semua hal yang berhubungan dengan make a wish terus shuuuut tbtb bintang jatuh, butuh waktu untuk memahami konsep dibalik mengapa alternate person bisa tercipta cuma karena make a wish dipesisir lautan. Tapi itu bukan kekurangan kok, aku nya aja yg tolol bin tulil tapi jujur storyline nya menurutku baru banget sihh, kayakk- fresh gitu. ada ga sih yang udah nyiptain plot begini? kalau udah pun, mungkin itu drama straight/hetero kali yaa, soalnya denger denger sih legenda atau mitos kalau kita make a wish saat bintang jatuh itu beneran ada di kultur chinese... ntah Taiwan aja atau Mainland China mungkin ada juga ntahlah, intinya ada.
Yang Ketiga, ahh angee
Karena gweh adalah gay yang masih belum come out, of course adegan "steamy" alias NC alias adegan ngewe itu jadi favoritku. sumpah disini mantep banget ahhhhhh aku jd ikutan sangekkk. sumpah ga boong literally body nya chen haowei mantep banget anjirrrr, dadddyhh vibes gituu. gwkalo ngeliat dia pas lagi bugil tuh berasa kayak, "om, mentokin omm" rawrrrr. maklum ges gw tuh gay tapi belom ada pengalaman ngewe alias gw masih virgin alias perjaka alias perawan tapi deep down dalam diri gua aslinya gua tuh binalll bangett jadi scene NC di series ini bener bener top markotopp asoyy digeboyy mujaerrr. sumpah ngeliat badan haowei bikin sange gilaa ya ampun.
Overall mantap bangettt, gweh approvedd

Cuidado com o que você deseja
Uma obra delicada, tocante e cheia de reviravoltas.Embora o drama seja coeso na maior parte do tempo, sua conclusão tende a ser um tanto confusa. Mas nem de longe isso tira o brilho da história e das atuações, aliás, o elenco demonstra uma química incrível. Jed Chung e Chu Meng Hsuan transmitiram tão bem as emoções e sentimentos dos personagens.
Os cenários a beira mar, deixou o drama com uma sensação de conforto, de serenidade, não sei explicar ao certo, mas deu um quentinho no coração.
Taiwan finalmente apresentou um BL de qualidade com um enredo envolvente pra esse ano.

Esse BL é maravilhoso! Foi o meu primeiro contato com um BL taiwanês e estou surpreso.Acredito que a história seja o ponto forte da produção. Ao longo dos episódios, eu fui me identificando com os personagens, principalmente com o He Xiang Yong. Uma vez dentro da história, ao voltar para a ilha onde nasceu, depois de concluir os estudos, He Xiang Yong sofre com um clássico problema, a cobrança dos moradores que aparentemente nutrem por ele um grande afeto e uma grande admiração. Ao sucumbir à pressão que o cerca, o personagem acaba por desejar que todos o esqueçam. Ao ter seu desejo atendido, ele começa a passar por inúmeros problemas. De modo particular, a decisão de He Xiang Yong me fez refletir acerca da minha própria vida e, diversas vezes ao longo da série, me peguei questionando as cobranças sociais e os malefícios que essas exigências acarretam à nossa saúde mental.
O par do He Xiang Yong é o personagem Chen Hao Wei, ele é muito fofo e complementa muito bem o Yong, que já é mais "cabeça quente". O amor que ambos sentem um pelo outro é retratado na série de forma magnífica, é possível sentir o desespero que o He Xiang Yong sente, enquanto busca fazer com que Chen Hao Wei lembre-se de quem ele é. (Aplausos para a cena mais "quente" já produzida na história dos BLs protagonizada pelo casal).
O casal secundário é composto dos personagens Li Wan Zhe e Hamaguchi Aomi / "Xiao Hai", eles são EXTREMAMENTE fofos. Após o Li Wan Zhe desejar um amor avassalador, o Hamaguchi Aomi, que era até então seu amigo, surge e passa a se declarar loucamente por ele. As cenas do casal são carregadas de humor e muito AMOR, é claro. Talvez o seu maior desejo seja encontrar alguém que te ame completamente e que faça de tudo para provar isso. Essa sorte o Li Wan Zhe teve, acredite, o Hamaguchi Aomi não vai desistir por nada! kkk
De modo geral, esse BL reforça a importância de valorizar o simples, ele relembra que você não precisa ser o melhor para ser amado. Afinal, é possível ser feliz com as lembranças do que se foi, com a perspectiva do que pode vir a ser, mas sem esquecer o que se é e, sobretudo, valorizando o que já se tem. Abordando conceitos como: amizade, paternidade, luto e amor romântico, a série aquece o nosso coração. Obrigado e parabéns aos atores e à produção!

Xian Yong, sopraffatto dalle difficoltà della vita e in crisi sul lavoro, torna nel suo paese natale. Qui esprime un desiderio a una stella cadente: che Xian Yong scompaia. E così accade.
Il giorno dopo nessuno si ricorda più di lui. È diventato uno sconosciuto agli occhi del mondo intero, fatta eccezione per il suo amico d’infanzia Wan Zhe che era presente quando esprimeva il desiderio. Anzi, lui stesso ne aveva espresso uno: vivere un amore.
Anche il suo desiderio sembra avverarsi e Wan Zhe dovrà capire se i sentimenti della persona che ha davanti siano autentici o frutto del miracolo di una stella cadente.
Per Xian Yong, dimenticato perfino dal padre e senza un posto dove andare, la situazione è ancora più difficile. La questione si complica ulteriormente quando Xian Yong rincontra Hao Wei, il ragazzo di cui è innamorato dai tempi della scuola, ma dal quale si è allontanato. Non solo è stato dimenticato dal mondo intero, ma si ritrova costantemente accanto alla persona di cui è innamorato, senza poter fare nulla, nemmeno rivelargli chi è realmente.
Eppure Hao Wei sembra inspiegabilmente attratto dalla nuova versione di Xian Yong.
Wishing Upon a Shooting Star non è un drama che parla soltanto di romanticismo, ma anche di crescita e accettazione di sé e dei propri errori. Come afferma lo stesso regista Ray Jiang (regista anche di We best Love e Unkwon) in un’intervista, può capitare a chiunque di fantasticare di essere qualcun altro, convinti che una vita diversa dalla nostra sarebbe in qualche modo migliore. Ma è davvero così? Una volta che ci siamo sbarazzati di ogni etichetta e di ogni costrutto sociale, cosa rimane di noi?
Per fortuna, anche se la memoria viene meno, i sentimenti e le emozioni continuano a esistere e forse Hao Wei potrebbe essere la chiave per risolvere la situazione. Xian Yong, d’altro canto, dovrà imparare ad accettare gli errori e le scelte fatte in passato, affrontandone le conseguenze.
Un drama romantico, ricco di scene intense e baci emozionanti, con attori bravissimi e ambientato nell’immaginaria isola di Xingpu: in realtà, la serie è stata girata nella magnifica isola di Liuqiu, conosciuta anche come Xiaoliuqiu o isola Lamay. Se proprio vogliamo trovarne un difetto, possiamo affermare che la parte fantasy non è gestita nel migliore dei modi, non spiegando in maniera esaustiva le dinamiche che scaturiscono tutto ciò, ma ci si passa sopra per tutti i motivi elencati sopra.
Una storia che ci insegna che i miracoli non sono opera delle stelle, ma delle persone, della loro costanza e del loro amore.

Du fantastique qui part trop loin
En général, je n'adhère pas du tout aux séries qui manquent de logique ou qui ont un scénario mal traité.Et pourtant, j'ai continué le visionnage avec plaisir.
L'ambiance globale est très agréable, le personnage principal m'agaçait au début mais a une vraie évolution constante, et le couple secondaire est tout aussi agréable à suivre.
Finalement, cette partie fantastique, qui aurait dû être un plus secondaire très agréable pour amener les intrigues du scénario, prend des proportions trop grandes et part tellement loin qu'on n’y trouve plus de logique. Sans parler de sa résolution trop délirante et absolument pas nécessaire de cette façon pour l'histoire.
J'aurais vraiment préféré qu'ils se concentrent sur l'histoire des deux couples et des autres personnages secondaires, car certains sont beaucoup trop mis en avant pour ce qu'on en fait. Ils sont mal traités, n'ont pas de résolution ou n'apportent rien à l'intrigue.
Malgré ça, l'histoire des deux personnages principaux est assez prenante et on reste accroché jusqu'à la fin.
Je pense que c'est ce qui m'a fait tenir jusqu'au bout sans vraiment souffrir de tous ces petits éléments mal fichus.
Globalement, j'ai donc apprécié cette série mais je ne la revisionnerai pas.
