Eww
I’m only at ep 9.So far …
Cute & easy entertaining watch.
Plot is full of too many “coincidences” and the fl is cringey when she acts like a spoiled brat. ML literally agrees to teach classes to pay off the fl expensive taste in ski boots, going out of his way to get her designer gear and she has a sulky tantrum, because he coaches another student. Which he needs to do to make money.
Unbelievable! Very unlikeable behaviour for FL.
Instead of going out to enjoy eating with him & her friends, she leaves in a pathetic sulk.
Then she’s so stupid she goes against his advice and goes to an advanced slope to ski ?
Why would she be so dangerous and stupid?
It’s so attention seeking I can’t believe it.
Risks her life just so he worries about her. the K coach shouldn’t have left her alone, however what was she doing there at all?
She absolutely knew she’s not at that level.
She is immature and irresponsible.
She even calls him mean when he calls her out for not listening to him.
It’s awful seeing him apologise to her ! Emotional blackmail should not be rewarded. She deliberately got herself hurt so he’d feel bad for what? Doing his job and teaching people? He’s not rich, he has to work. She’s super toxic.
He keeps giving her free stuff and lessons etc and she just takes advantage and then pulls manipulative tactics to get him to chase her.
Her baby doll voice is pretty awful too.
She is very childlike and he’s a grown man. It’s a weird match.
She keeps pulling cutesy wide eyed faces too. It’s a bit ick.. the dynamic , like he’s her father and she’s his little useless babygirl.
She wears kiddie turtle clothes and he’s always dressing her, putting her shoes/slippers/boots on for her like she’s his toddler.
Is this some weird Chinese culture thing where men are supposed to babysit their partners?
She acts like a naughty child who needs constant attention.
She only has a bit of sore skin on the back of her ankle from putting her boots on too tight, yet he has to carry her like she can’t walk?
I think a better actress and some better writing could’ve made this so much better.
Why does she not wear contact lenses if she’s that blind?
Her glasses look fake af too like there’s not even glass in the frames.
If she’s so conscious of ugly things they seem like a weird thing to wear.
Her comic art is very basic and not very original. The story sounded cool, but her artwork was childish. Which is a shame because the concept of a comic artist and snowboarder coming together is cool. It could’ve been great.
I guess it’s entertaining nonetheless.
Watch if you can suspend your disbelief and don’t mind a petty, annoying fl.
The ml is excellent and the only real reason to watch this. He has expressive eyes and actually can act. However, after suffering such a big back injury it’s not great that he risks getting reinjured just because he wants to show off for a girl.
And the fat shaming was awful (from the best friend character to Yan.) She doesn’t eat properly Because she’s constantly dieting & she puts her friend & boyfriend down about weight. Surely in 2025 we’re not body shaming anymore?
And why would her assistant blab to her rival about her comic topic? that’s confidential. No one is that unprofessional.
If FL wealthy mother knows about the comic company taking her name etc why wouldn’t she get lawyers to challenge their unfair contract?

Alice
Ski In to Love is a Chinese series that mixes romance, comedy and drama with a touch of sports, set in the enchanting scenery of snow-capped mountains. Released in 2025, it tells the story of Wei Zhi (Yu Shuxin), a cartoonist who loses everything after a copyright scandal and chooses to walk away from it all to start over. She decides to go skiing, and then she meets Chan Chong (Lin Yi), a former snowboarding competitor with past traumas. They begin to develop a romantic relationship, despite their differences in personality and the adversities that arise in their lives. The series manages to combine the winter atmosphere and snow sports with an engaging narrative about personal growth, passion and the difficulties that arise when falling in love. The main characters have good interaction dynamics, with emphasis on the relationship between the protagonists, which evolves into a deeper emotional bond. The chemistry between the actors is remarkable, which helps to sustain the romance of the story and generate empathy with the audience.
The mountain scenery and skiing scenes also play an important role in building the series' atmosphere. The beautiful landscapes and action-packed moments, such as skiing competitions, add a layer of emotion to the plot, keeping the viewer engaged in the characters' adventures.
However, Ski In to Love is not just about romance and sports. The series also addresses issues such as overcoming adversity, friendship, and the challenges of adulthood, making the audience identify with the characters' personal dilemmas. Some moments are predictable, and the plot follows classic love story formulas, but the production still stands out for its ability to balance drama and lightness.
In terms of production, the series has a pleasant visual style, with good location choices and costumes that align with the cold and sporty environment. The soundtrack complements the atmosphere, helping to immerse the audience in the story's mood.
In short, Ski In to Love is a light and captivating series, ideal for those looking for a cute romance with a stunning setting and characters that grow throughout the plot. Although it follows some typical formulas of the genre, the combination of romance, sports and drama makes it a pleasant option for those who want to be distracted and excited at the same time.

A Must Watch Gem for Hopeless Romantics. Slice of Life was also Great.
Rating: 10/10After watching over 300 dramas, it takes a lot to impress me, but this series? Wow, just wow! I absolutely loved it. I realize not everyone will feel the same, but for me, it was pure magic. It’s rare for a drama to hook me from episode one, yet this one did exactly that. It’s cute, fun, exciting, and heartwarming, with a perfect blend of romance and slice-of-life elements. The glimpse into professional snowboarding was fascinating, and the incorporation of Chinese anime culture was spot-on.
Some critics have said Esther Yu didn’t nail the role of Wei Zhi, but I couldn’t disagree more. She embodied the popular anime author perfectly—quirky, lovable, and authentic. Her wardrobe was a highlight, transitioning from adorable, casual outfits to stunning elegance with ease. Wei Zhi’s warmth and sweetness made her impossible not to love. Who wouldn’t fall for her? Meanwhile, Lin Yi was flawless as the cold, aloof professional athlete. Watching him slowly melt for Wei Zhi was heartwarming and utterly satisfying.
This drama is a must-watch for hopeless romantics like me. It’s not a deeply emotional saga with complex twists, so if that’s your preference, it might not hit the mark. But if you crave a feel-good romance that leaves you smiling, don’t miss this one. I’ll rewatch it anytime I need a pick-me-up, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow romance lovers.
Spoilers Ahead
I usually dislike separation arcs, but this one felt justified. If you’ve ever been told “you’re not good enough,” you’ll understand why the male lead had to step back, especially given the cultural context. It made their eventual reunion all the more meaningful.
The mini happy endings were a delight. The sister’s recovery and return to snowboarding warmed my heart. I appreciated how the second male lead bowed out gracefully and even became friends with the main guy—classy and refreshing. The romance between the main guy’s sister and the younger snowboarder was adorable, adding a sweet subplot. My only gripe is the unresolved arc between the main girl’s friend and the guy she’d known for years without realizing. Her ghosting him felt harsh, and while it seemed like she wanted to reconcile, we never got closure. Still, this minor loose end didn’t diminish my love for the series.
The “friends like family” trope was executed beautifully. This group was so fun to watch, and their scenes added warmth and camaraderie to the story. It felt like hanging out with real friends, making the drama even more endearing.

Meu coração derreteu também!
Eu não sei vocês, mas eu me derreti nesses dramas fofinhos que fazer a gente "curar" junto! A Zhi e o Chong merecem o mundo!

IMO, it’s not for everyone. this type of theme and plot is not for all audience
I just love shuxin! Lin Yi’s red eyes, his expressions, when his mouth shakes, it’s all so magical. Shuxin’s eyes are also expressive. Also, it’s my first time encountering a snowboarding drama! The plot may be typical, but the theme is unique. This is not for everyone to watch, this isn’t the drama that is famous to everyone like it’s their preference. It’s for the people who really enjoy the dynamic of grumpy and sunshine in some sense, or someone who really watches the actors’ dramas. If you’re in for a cute and soft yet emotional story, this is for you

Comfortable drama but...
I waited this drama for Esther Yu and Lin Yi, and also bcs this drama is also about snowboard, whic is unique. I really love and ejoyed the beautiful scenery in this drama. The storyline is actually good, but it's not really that extraordinary. I love the passion that Wei Zhi have on her job, it also inspired Shan Chong to make a come back and achieved his dream. But some part of this drama is boring. At first I'm mad why they cut this drama into 23 eps? But when watching it, I'm glad they cut it to 23 eps. Bcs actually I found the story of this drama is actually not that long.
I've only watched a few of Lin Yi's dramas, and I can say I mostly love Lin Yi character's as Shan Chong💝 The chemistry he have with Esther is also good. For Esther, I really enjoyed many of Esther drama, but in this drama I've found some of weird scene. Esther really cute as she is! She doesn't need to pretend cute bcs her personality itself is already cute<3 but some of her acting here just really cringe, i didn't like when she mumbling to others, or when she use high voice or idk what it called. I hope she will get better role in her upcoming drama.
The opening OST depicts the passion and spirit in this drama. I mostly love the OST that Esther singing. And I love the last eps, it's really beautiful💐
To everyone who want to watch, just try it! Although is not outstanding but it's still enjoyable and worth watching for me!

Male leads are so cute together
The male leads exhibit remarkable chemistry, which makes their interactions highly enjoyable to watch. Additionally, the supporting cast delivers strong performances, enhancing the overall quality of the storyline. Esther's contribution to the drama is particularly noteworthy as she continues to excel in her role. Was this review helpful to you?

The story is boring and the characthers is hard to love
The story is boring. after 6 episodes I'm still not invested in the story.ML is better in his previous work, it's not bad, but not good either. The FL in incredible annoying. which is so not fair for the actress, cause I love her so much in Moonlight, so I know she is great actress, but her voice and childness acting in this is so cringe. I don't think it's the actress fault, but the director of this series.

It was okay
Contrary to usual comments, I actually appreciate the fact that it's only 23 episodes. What made me try watching this show even if this is not my thing was the clip wherein fl was wearing turtle knee pads while skating. It was very cute!!So far Yu Shuxin and Linyi looks good onscreen. Not really sizzling chemistry or whatever for me but it was watchable enough for a modern romance drama.
Haven't watch a lot of episodes yet so I can't comment anything except for the voice. If you're used to watching cute anime girls, then this high pitch voice is nothing. The diction is clear.

Just NO
I’m actually a fan of Esther Yu, but honestly… out of all her dramas, this is the one I dropped the fastest—right after episode one. Feels like she’s more caught up in showing off that pretty-and-cute image than really diving into the role. If you ask me, I’d rather rewatch Moonlight, A Romance in the Little Forest, or My Journey to You any day.Was this review helpful to you?
