Thap In losers we‘re going shopping!
This review definitely contains spoilers. What I loved:
Thap and In are such well written characters and Jimmy and Sea played them so well. I get excitement aggression.
Thap is assertive and stubborn at times. He likes to bicker and tease. Loves a bit of a challenge. All this is partially because of his profession as a Doctor. What I also really liked about him is how he treats other people with grace even when his motives may be a little selfish. How he makes Tul realize how his behaviour puts In into a difficult spot with the motive of ‚In‘s mine‘ in Episode 5. MMh.
In is soft hearted (or ‚fluffly and soft‘ in the words of Thap), but with a shell. He cares deeply about the people he loves. But sees himself as the source of possible pain and suffering because of his ability and how the death of his parents occured.
He wants to see people happy, healthy and safe. And in that aspect Thap and In are the same. They both want that. But while In thinks it‘s fate, even if he tries he can‘t prevent it and thinks it’s better that he suffers instead of others. Thap, as doctor, has the mindset of ‚if I can help you I will do my best so you can *live*‘. Two different points of view about the same wish. But it works so well together.
Their honesty and vulnerability with each other that developed their relationship was marvellous to witness.
Jimmy and Sea played them so well. Idk if there‘s much more that needs to be said. They definitely acted in ways I haven‘t seen them before. Aaaah. 🫠 🤌🤌 Thank you very much for this performance. For them alone it‘s definitely worth watching.
The moment when Thap and In are at the flea market at the bracelet stand as well as the scene in the hospital when In holds back from joining Thaps family can so easily be read as jealousy or him thinking the same as the mother… I love that it was so much more than just that. I sighed in relief.
The side/secondary couple had the right amount of screen time. It was a nice bridge between Thap and In‘s story and the mystery/crime base plotline.
First played the part of the ‚villain‘ very well. Karn always appeared and acted a little sus, so it wasn‘t hard to guess that he has something to do with the incidents. Why he did it is a different question, that I could not answer before it was revealed.
The imperfections:
- Unfortunately every time when they shouted or screamed the audio clipped/sounded distorted. It made me jump every single time and took me out of the moment. Maybe it was a style choice… if so it was the wrong one.
- some things were just a little too unbelievable. Like in Ep. 7 how Thap just took over as doctor in the ambulance. Eh. Or also how quickly the police were there after he got shot. okayy. It’s better not to think about it too much.
- First simply being part of the cast made it very obvious to me (and probably anyone who knows him from other series) that a well established actor like him will probably be the ‚villain‘. Despite that it‘s always fun to see ‚coupled‘ actors in roles independent from said couple. So I gotta mention the appearance of Junior and Book as well :) More of that please.
a few little things that just caught my attention:
- ahahahaa, during the product placements I realized Thailand now also has the bottle caps that stay attached. Made me giggle.
- emotional support blankie! yay (at times it seemed a little too hot to sleep with two blankets though)
- this is probably more an issue on my side: in the end when we get all these so far somewhat background characters (Wan and the father) and their emotional clarity and open communication… it felt a little unreal to me because I am so used to the opposite in media and real life. I hope we can see more communication like this.
(Have to go over this review again to maybe find some better words, sort and edit a little. But for now it is what it is)

Story needed more TLC
Jimmy and Sea and all actors did a great job. Let me keep this review short and sweet:GMMTV just needs to drop cliches and focus on quality instead of QUANTITY of BLs. Story could have been great with better writing. Cast was great and I enjoyed the OST. I started watching this as a filler and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it.
I just wish we got less cliches and more attention to the writing with less focus on fluff and fan service (which will come with a great series) because the production and acting are there.
I just feel like GMMTV has been producing mid dramas the last few years since 2022/2023. I don’t think I have given a GMMTV drama that has been hyped higher than a 7 since Only Friends.
Again, no disrespect, just start writing better and giving the storyline TLC because the arsenal of talent is incredible!!

came for First, stayed for First and jimmysea moments
MMP is a classic example of top tier acting meets GMMTV mediocrity. Now don't get me wrong not everything needs to be deep and heavy, there's nothing wrong with fluff. What's wrong is when this subplot fluff takes up majority of the episodes while the main plot and conflict is sparsely scattered, only being actually dealt with in 4 out of 10 episodes. The first episode sets us off strong, introducing the conflict from the start and instead of taking that and developing a solid plot, the next episodes focus on JimmySea's domesticated life. As a solution to keeping Thap safe while trying to solve the mystery, these fools conjure up the bright idea of removing him completely and shipping him off to the mountains with a fortune teller he fell in love w at first sight but has reservations abt bc he hates fortune tellers due to trauma (which also makes no sense as if this was so traumatizing, which i dont doubt, why is the mother still so obsessed with fortune tellers?? she literally drinks the words straight out of In's mouth which added to my frustration). This was especially irritating as everything from there (episode 3 and onwards) was predictable. Yes, I understand we dont ALWAYS need Last Twilight level production but at least place more emphasis on the main conflict instead of a mere 15 to 20 minutes mention every other episode.
Another issue I had with MMP is the side couple they tried forced down my throat. There was no chemistry and unnecessary, not every man needs a love interest. In the scenes where the other doctor was by himself it was fine, then everytime his love interest (the inspector) came into frame the quality rapidly declined with shabby lines and a hopeless relationship. I started fast forwarding everytime they were on screen together and still managed to keep up to date w the plot.
First was amazing. He really shone throughout MMP and I wanted to see MORE of his character, I wanted more development, I wanted to see him conspire and plot, nonetheless he did a spectacular job. Sea's emotions never fail to impress me, and his acting was breathtaking. In many of his scenes I forget that I was indulging in a half-baked GMM mediocre show.
The ending. Aside from the side couple they kept shoving up my ass it was it was enjoyable. I really like the dad and the scene where he asked In to accompany him tending to his plants which was his way of accepting In into the family. I wished the dad got more screentime, shoving his and Thap's subplot into the very last episode felt unjustly to me, and the dad's actor was spot on with his emotionally delivery, truly a waste. Despite that, I miss the era where there were consequences for your actions. Why was Karn begging for punishment and everyone just decided to forgive him just like that. I love First in this series and i wish he got more screentime. His emotions were all so raw (Sea as well), especially in the finale when he couldn't even look his friends in the eyes at first. His portrayal of regret and defeat invigorated me to stay till the end (THANK U FIRST KANAPHAN WE ALL SAY IN UNSION). The interview added to the end was chef's kiss and I forgot how much i struggled to finish this.
Overall, MMP had so much potential. They failed to balance fluff and conflict. JimmySea's fanbase are like loyal dogs who watch their shows through rose coloured glasses and throw all media literacy out the window., just like what they did for Vice Versa and its sad to see shows like this be over hyped and actual good shows with a solid plot and subsistence are placed on the back burner due to the pairing/ actors not being as popular. Dont watch with high expectations, and you would definietly enjoy more than me.

Jimmy and Sea have never disappoint me
First, P'Thap's patience and understanding were able to pierce In's cold shell. To my In who was able to open up and leave behind the suffering and loneliness in which he had locked himself away. A school love found and which materialized not even after years ().My magic phophecy explores our daily lives, the love that is created, the deep friendship that turns into hatred, jealousy, the importance of family, losses, loneliness, belief in the supernatural and work-related problems.
The cast of My magic phophecy for me, was well chosen and each actor embodied his character wonderfully. I really hope to see these actors again in other series in the future to finally see their evolution.
Thank you to the Director (), the Producers () and all those who participated in the realization of this beautiful story.
Jimmy and Sea have never disappointed me (from Vice versa to Our skyy x Vice versa, Last twilight to My magic phophecy), everything they touch becomes gold to me.💜🩵❤️🫶💯

JimmySea Reign Supreme
JimmySea’s onscreen chemistry is just next-level. It’s honestly what makes this series stand out as one of the best BLs out there. From the very first episode, you can feel how natural they are together—nothing feels forced or overly scripted. The way they look at each other, the subtle gestures, the emotional beats… it’s all so believable that you forget you’re watching actors. You genuinely feel like you’re witnessing two people falling in love. Both are excellent actors of their generation. Jimmy brings this raw intensity, especially in those heavy drama scenes where emotions run high. His confrontations are powerful—he doesn’t just act, he inhabits the moment. And then there’s Sea, who absolutely wrecks you with his vulnerability. The way he cries? It’s not just tears—it’s heartbreak, longing, and love all wrapped into one. You feel it in your chest. Sure, the storyline follows the familiar BL formula, but it’s executed with such finesse that it doesn’t feel recycled. The pacing, the emotional build-up, the little moments—they all hit just right. The director clearly knew what he was doing, balancing the romance, drama, and character development so well. Every scene feels beautifully crafted. Honestly, I can’t get enough of Jimmy and Sea. Their chemistry is addictive, and their performances are unforgettable. Solid 5/5 stars. Total must-watch.Was this review helpful to you?

This series healed my soul, it isn't just a series it's my comfort zone. I will never get over how beautiful this is, it's a forever memory for me. From starting till the ending everything was pure magic. Im so grateful for this masterpiece that touched my heart. My heart will always belong here. The characters felt so real, the emotions so raw. This series became my safe space and i will carry it with me always. A tale of love and healing that will forever be etched onto my heart. Was this review helpful to you?
A healing , simple yet so beautiful love story.
Simply is the best.Plot
A basic GMMTV serie : simple story ,easy to watch and short .
However, its healing power is no joke.
Tiring of everyday small troubles, stressful things ⁇
This is for you, no need to think deep, just let the growing up journey of the main characters ease your soul.
The cast
I can not imagine who could do better than Jimmy and Sea for this. They ate the show ans make me want more. I stayed up late and waited for every episode. They improved the story and acting , Jimmy actually tured red while acting LOL . Super satisfied to watch .
The director must be proud of himself for letting the actors enjoyed the show like this .
For a nonchalant series watcher like me for doing all of this ,this series is special to me. I would rewatch it for n+times again.

For me? It was perfect
A comfort series, from which I could recharge emotionally. It couldn't have been better for Jimmy and Sea.I was captivated by them in Last Twilight, so I really wanted to get to this series. Because I wanted to be captivated by their quiet chemistry all over again.
The story isn't wow, but for me it was PERFECT. I needed something light, cozy, without too much drama, that focused on a healthy relationship and character development.
Jimmy playing a doctor in a series is an old dream of mine. And I'm glad it came true. He was perfect in the role (I didn't expect anything else), and his natural charisma won me over again. He has all my respect. His roles are the best models for: look, I want a man like that too.
Sea, well, I was happy to see him in a new role, especially after Last Twilight, where he nail it with his character, Day. From seeing nothing to seeing too much... Gosh, loved it.
And the fact that I felt the reference to Last Twilight made everything even more wonderful: the sun glasses, the hate for the sunset...
And... First. Man, if I could choose just one actor to admire in this life, it would be him. 100%. I hated his character. He made me forget about my love for the actor and cling to hating the character he was playing. Just to cry with him in the last ep. 😭😭😭
And Junior, baby, I could never hate you. No matter what role you were in. And I was glad I didn't have to.💜💜💜

This series brings hope for a loner like me
If you like watching handsome men loving each other, this series is for you. If you lost your faith in love, this series is definitely for you. The plot is not really great but it reminds us of our daily life, our relationships with family and friends. I really love a quote in this series. It stated that love is above all. Even though I haven’t experienced true love but somehow I believe that, maybe it’s just me simply long for a thing that any creature needs. JimmySea’s acting are on point. They improved a lot. If you watched their previous series, there’s no reason to skip this one!Was this review helpful to you?

This series was a wonderful discovery for me.I found it really touching, with endearing and well-portrayed characters.
I felt a little sorry for Kan's character, even though his jealousy, which drives him to want to kill his friend, seemed a little exaggerated to me. On the other hand, First played his role as the villain really well, and as always, his acting is excellent.
Jimmy (Thap) and Sea (In) have great chemistry on screen, and it's always nice to see them acting together.
Overall, I really enjoyed this series and had a great time watching it. I'm even a little sad that it's already over.
