Together, they bring a sincerity to the screen that feels refreshing and genuine, turning even the simplest moments into something warm and memorable.Choi Woo-shik has a quiet, effortless charisma that makes his character instantly likable. Cute but could be better
I think this drama would be better if it had more episodes, so we could see more of the conflict, specially around de uncle. I mean, we could imagine it was easy to arrest the uncle and get all the truth because they're rich and have plenty of contacts, but it was way too easy! I know the manly focus was the couple and their fake marriage, but still, things went too smoothly. So, if you need something that you don't need to think a lot to watch, you can watch this, but I think you can find better ones.
I liked the main couple chemistry, but the second couple was the winner for me! Even though they had little screentime, they were absolutely stunning to watch! I really hope they can do a drama together again as the main leads!
Also, I would love to see the CEO paying for everything he did and how he treated others, but maybe, more certainly, nothing happened to him because he is rich.
Anyways, I thought about give it an 8 but I felt it was too much so I gave it 7.5.

Another cute drama.
I feel the cliff hanger from episode 11 was resolved way too soon in episode 12. I get there was a lot to cover in episodes two. either way it would have been a drag if they made this show with 16 episodes. In fact this could have been 10.Jung So Min is well.. Jung So Min. She doesn't have too much range. She is good old roasted chicken. Good and consistent. I've watched her for a decade and she gets the job done.
I don't think I've seen Choi Woo Shik in a ML capacity before. But l'll take that cutie potato in any shape or form. I want to see him with a broader range of character. Possibly a wolf in sheep clothing villain one.
Would I watch this again? yes, but I wouldn't go out of my way to . I came, I binge and like and were moving to the next one

Watch if your a fan
Would You Marry Me? is an easy-to-watch romantic drama with some charming moments, but as I followed the story, I couldn’t help noticing that several scenes felt very similar to Our Beloved Summer. The soft cinematography, the quiet conversations, and the nostalgic atmosphere all gave off a familiar vibe—almost as if the show was trying to recreate the emotional style of Our Beloved Summer. However, while Our Beloved Summer used these scenes to build strong character depth and emotional layers, Would You Marry Me? doesn’t quite reach the same level.Overall, Would You Marry Me? is still enjoyable if you’re in the mood for a simple, sweet romance. But compared to the emotional depth and storytelling quality of Our Beloved Summer, it feels less impactful and sometimes even repetitive. It’s a pleasant watch—just don’t expect the same richness or character development.

Sweet and heart fluttering show!
The cast really have great chemistry! The choice of cast is really awesome!! The episodes have those moments you would find it so so sweet and cute. The cinematography is also super good as well! A great show to watch during the weekends, and rewatch again for their sweet moments!Choi Wooshik and Jung Somin really had the best chem, no one else would suit this show more. The fits of wooju are so wooshik coded, it's so like him. Really had to support all of wooshik's shows/projects, they are all so good!

The storyline suddenly became childish. Very serious issues like financial fraud and adultery were sugar-coated as if they were minor inconveniences. The show kept pushing the idea that everything could be brushed aside simply by slapping “defamation law” on it. Instead of addressing the actual wrongdoing, the drama used defamation as a shield to silence the truth, which unintentionally highlighted how easily truth can be suppressed in Korea using these laws.
It even showed how a private law firm could practically control someone’s life — seizing property, restricting speech, and overriding basic rights. Whether intended or not, it painted a pretty bleak picture of how little freedom of speech seems to exist in that legal environment.
Oddly enough, the romance between the main leads lacked spark. Most of the time they felt more like siblings than lovers, with zero passionate chemistry.
The real saving grace of the show was the doctor and CEO couple. Their relationship felt far more genuine, mature, and emotionally compelling. Their scenes had actual passion, warmth, and tension — the kind the lead couple desperately lacked.
Overall, the drama had potential and began extremely well, but it stumbled once the plot tried to balance serious crimes with a soft rom-com tone. The secondary couple ended up being the only emotionally satisfying part of the entire story.

It helped me relax and enjoy myself when I felt exhausted from work
I really love romantic comedies, and that’s why “Would You Marry Me?” became such a special drama for me. It’s a light, charming rom-com that made me smile in every episode. I loved each character in the story, everyone had their own charm and personality, and together they created a drama that felt warm and enjoyable. The chemistry of both couples was one of my favorite parts. They were adorable, cute, and naturally funny. Watching their interactions felt so genuine that it was impossible not to fall in love with them. Their moments together were sweet, entertaining, and full of heart.
I also have to mention Meri’s mom — she was so cool and lovable. Her character added so much color and comfort to the drama. Every scene with her felt meaningful and fun.
And the ending? I absolutely loved it. It was perfect — happy, satisfying, and full of good feelings. Seeing everyone end up happy made the whole journey worth it.
“Would You Marry Me?” is the kind of rom-com that leaves me warm, smiling, and wanting to rewatch it again.

The best romcom series 2025
I've seen positive reviews everywhere. The pages are good at analyzing, to the point, and clear. But here, it's like being in a different world, like people here are watching a different series than outside. Ha~But it's okay, even though a few people here tried to tell me how bad it was, I still enjoyed it. It's very romantic, with just the right amount of comedy and minimal drama. I love the emotional resolutions from the main characters. They don't leave any misunderstandings hanging. They hardly ever fight, which is good for my heart. I love how the main couple understands each other's feelings.
This is a romantic comedy that will keep you happy all the way through. It has perfect timing, lots of cute and unique scenes, and a cast with incredible chemistry and excellent rom-com skills. The dialogue is memorable, and despite some annoying characters, the ending is fitting.

Worth the watch, but cliched plots
To start with, I fell in love with the trailer; it was very captivating. When I watched the series done yesterday, it was quite good—I had a laugh, swooned for the main couple and the second couple. The flashback between the main couple surprised me, but the plot—I saw it coming from miles away. The Ex, on the other hand, had me boiling and sorry for him, because why did he do it in the first place? I did not find the kdrama too cliché. Tbh, I would definitely recommend this drama to rom-com lovers. Was this review helpful to you?

Cliche story and annoying ex
The drama actually starts off quite interesting until about episode 8. It was obvious after that the ex was going to feel entitled and try to ruin her + the ML. So annoying that he comes crawling back to her and even blamed her for "cheating" when they already broke up and he was the one that cheated. Bro, please. Realized too late that she was the true good one and then expect her to crawl back to you.The doctor also kind of annoying, why stick your nose into everything and make decisions for ML. He knows what he's doing and was open to you about the FL.
I'm probably not going to finish the drama, wish the story could've been a little different than the ex trying to take revenge on her. I get that you "lost" the house and its so much money, which seems like that's all the family care about.
