It's worth watching!! A new era of BL??!
Revenged love is not fully completed yet but I am here to give my review anyway.. will edit this later.Ok so this is an adaption of the novel 'Counterattack: Falling in love with my rival and has had an original remake called 'Counter Attack' released in 2015 with one season (sad ending) as season 2 got cancelled.

I got this as a YouTube recommendation randomly 16 hours ago when it released and had been obsessed ever since! So Good!
I'm very proud of the cast they look similar to the original characters portrayed and I am so so glad that they changed some of the scenes from the Novel as it was much worse than the series. It's actually more fluff and although some parts do not follow it does make sense as it is a Chinese adaption and we all know about the censorship. I cannot wait to see the rest of all 24 episodes. Chinese BL dramas are really hitting off, I'm 100% sure that this and Desire are going to be the top dramas coming..

“I love the show. This drama caught me from the very first episodes. The slow attraction between the main characters is so well written and believable. Their chemistry is incredibly strong and makes every scene feel real and meaningful. I love how the story develops naturally, without rushing anything. The emotions, the tension, the glances—they’re all done perfectly. The side characters are such a great pair too! They add humor, warmth, and balance to the story in a way that makes the entire series more enjoyable. Honestly, I’m completely hooked. Really the best BL drama ever!
I am writing this review after the final episode and I am feeling so many emotions. I am attached to the characters, for the first time, after being a fan of chinese dramas for over 5 years. I feel I cannot let go of WeiChi and that without them I am empty. I will never forget the laughter, the thrill and excitement I felt waiting for a new episode, the amazing fandom I will talk to trough comments on every preview and how this series made my summer special.Both Tian Xuning and ZiYu played Chi Cheng and WeiWei absolutely amazing, I get goosebumps everytime I am thinking about how their story started and how it ended. How they loved each other so deeply and meaningful.
Revenged Love will forever be my comfort drama. I want to laugh again, cry again, feel the excitement and boldness of Chi Cheng again. I will never forget Revenged Love

I wish I could watch this for the 1st time again
It's literally so amazing. Not even overhyped at all. I'm so happy that the actors were able to pull off their roles without it feeling forced. They have so much chemistry together. That doesn't only apply to the main couple either....loterally EVERYBODY has chemistry together. The storyline is really good even though the later episodes made me so mad because they lacked communication...ugh. But yes I love love love this. Nothing will beat the feeling of those weeks waiting for the next episode to come out and staying up until 8am just to watch it when I had nothing better to do LOL.Was this review helpful to you?
Ziyu looks like my first love
Yes that's right. He reminds me of my first love. To be honest, at first I was curious as to why the series was so popular, so I decided to try watching and found out that Wu suo wei really looks like my highschool first love. Along the way I enjoyed and love the story, the acting and of course the actors.But what really amazed me and got me so hooked was the way the main leads (not to be biased but I love the 2nd couple too), were like destined to play the roles so well that both on and off cam, really shows their chemistry and feelings for each other; that you might think and (I wish) they're really a couple, but of course, it's just a dream.
I love how detailed the series is, and despite having a low budget, they were able to bring out a high quality drama.
This is definitely worth to watch and dont forget to watch the behind the scenes as well because you can see how they close and how loving they can be 😅

YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE
Firstly, it has been a long time since a BL has had me in such a chokehold. In between release dates, I would find myself going and checking to see if maybe God took pity on me, and there would be another episode out. I was transfixed. The main couple had me kicking my feet and giggling in some parts, and then clutching my chest, crying the next. The chemistry between both couples was so beautiful to experience. I was scared asf when there was a pause in the release schedule. I was like "NOOOOOO" they cannot treat me the way they did Addicted, but they were merciful. I am so glad I got to watch this drama. It was so good. I recommend everyone who will listen to watch this drama. However, do not start with this drama because all other dramas will be ruined for you. depois de tanto tempo sem ver um bl, esse me prendeu, nao são coisas tão clichês, eu amei, assisti em 3 dias praticamente, o envolvimento da história e dos personagens, até a parte da superação, apesar de muita gente achar desnecessario é bem legal mostrar e ele viu que nao era mais a pessoa para ele, o casal secundario tambemm, perfeitos, so que poderia ter um episodio especial, passou muito rapido, to sem palavras, acho que com certeza vai ser eleito a um dos melhores super recomendoo!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Okay, let's talk about my biggest pet peeve when watching Cdramas-I refuse to use earphones. Why? bcs the dubbing/ lip-syncing is so off it physically hurts me. I get why they do it (mandarin dialects, post-production fixes, etc), but come on -when the lips move like they're in a badly dubbed kung fu movie from the '80s, it's distracting. Half the time, I had to turn the volume down just to cope. The voices themselves? fine. The mismatch? painful :)And don't even get me started on the props, they holding "invisible" phones with the screen blatantly showing the wallpaper? sipping from clearly empty cups like they're mocking us? bruh. If you're gonna fake it, at least commit. These tiny details matter-and trust me, I'm not the only one noticing 👍🏻
Now, the chemistry? Chef's kiss. No complaints there
The plot? mehhh. They cut out the best parts of the novel (classic move), but whatever, I've made peace with it
Overall? solid 7.5/10. would I rewatch? ... let me think about it (aka probably nah)

updating as i go along (don't watch if you have snake phobia)
I started this as I couldn't avoid it on TikTok, everyone is talking about it. Its pretty good but still falls to censoring and a dull ending. The kisses are very fish like and not natural, the dubbing is weird in places where there is a lot of unnecessary breathing sounds.good points:
- Interesting plot - not too complex
- great acting
- sexual tension .
Bad points:
- Lots of snakes (can be hard to watch for some people)
- First few episodes are a bit slow to pick up pace
- Falls off towards the end
1st ep - I love that the main character is from a poor background and has many struggles with life and love, this makes him interesting. The Love interest is also intriguing and seems complex so far.
2nd ep - Chi Cheng tries really hard to woo Wu Suo Wei by learning all about him and getting deeper into his business. The progression is interesting and the pace is good. The ex girlfriend is defiantly getting hurt by going for him when he's using her. I like the second ML doctor. The flirting and butt grabbing has started !
3rd ep - Wu Suo Wei is not showing his bad guy side so much this ep which is a shame, a lot of focus on buying and selling snakes. A bit of flirting. This ep was a bit dull.
4th ep - Chi Cheng is working out his feelings and they have a forced kiss as he says he liked wu suo wei to try and keep him away from his ex. Chi Cheng seems to have taken on more than he bargained for and freaks out.
Good points: Great acting and cast. Interesting plot and characters.
Bad points: Unnecessary gang r**e scene in first episode, the audio dubbing is off-putting and in some places feels unnatural (i know it is common for Chinese dramas to record the voices post production and add later but it feels a bit off in some places).

Masterpiece
This has got to be the best Chinese BL with the best actor TIAN XU NING and ZI YU I have ever watched because the whole show from beginning to the end was a master piece and the best Chinese BL to ever exist😌☺️☺️,can't get over how wonderful the actors and production team were, also can't get over the lovely behind the scenes moments. So happy to be a part of revenged loved era.I really loved and enjoyed the show and it was very much worth the hype that it got all over different social media platforms.
