I think I've only managed like three or four this year.
That's still good! Don't beat yourself up over not watching more, haha. You watch what you enjoy. I'd be lying if I said RR dramas are known for being high-quality productions. A lot of these I would not watch if it weren't for the dynamic, lol 😂

I'm completely clueless when it comes to determining if any of the shows are actually RR titles
You'll get the hang of it. I've been in RR/HetGNC spaces a lot, and what's considered RR varies a lot from person to person.
Generally speaking, the common definition is the following: Relationship dynamics where the traditional gender roles are reversed. Usually, women who are more assertive, dominant, and masculine, and men who are more gentle, submissive, and feminine.
Basically, if it's het and seems 'other' compared to traditional couples, then it's probably RR. Like, even egalitarian have RR vibes even if they don't strictly fall under the RR umbrella.
There's definitely more to it, but we start getting into more complicated/confusing territory about HetGNC (heterosexual gender nonconformity). If you want to know more, let me know, and I'll try and explain it to the best of my abilities ^^

I've devoured nearly 90 dramas this year alone, so it's hard for me to see the numbers and accept more dramas aren't considered RR.
I definitely know the feeling xD Last year was kinda like that for me, so I made it my goal this year to watch more things I actually like rather than trying to chase challenges, and it helped tremendously. But it's also different for me, since I only started watching asian dramas because of role reversal, so that kinda always seems to be my center.
