It seems like that. For a moment I was like, did Naksu somehow soul shifted to Jang Uk?
That would be funny actually and explain Naksu's sword in his hands even better. But I doubt it will happen. This soul shifting bs has to stop - it's a deathtrap for life judging by what happened to Jang Kang.
Crazy theory in-coming! Brace yourself.Unless JBY's soul left MD's body (JSM) and transfer to Naksu's original…
I don't think JBY will be in Naksu's og body, or they'd have shown her blind in the preview. I think both girls will return to their respective bodies, as they should. Not sure how Naksu's body gotta be revealed though. But hey, if dead Uk can resurrect from the pyre like a Mother of the f**king Dragons, I'm sure they'll come up with something as implausible.
Jang uk will be the shadow this time while Naksu will be the light
Uk's not gonna go to the dark side. He just finally grew up into a fine adult. He came a long way from the playful troublemaker boy he was in the beginning. After all he's been through he came out of it a better man. What I've gathered from the ending and preview - he's mad at what happened, but also determined and confident in his abilities. He'll set things right again, get to the bottom of what happened to Naksu and punish the bad guys with no remorse. No more playing around, time to get serious. And color contrast is there - dark serious clothes and white Naksu's sword. There's light in every shadow.
Same goes for Naksu. Her transformation is even greater - from a cold, ruthless assassin with no morals into a kind woman who managed to find a heart in herself. She's shown with white clothes in the preview to reflect that change.
Things I don't want in part 2- amnesia trope- mistaken lover trope- misunderstanding trope- love triangles/squares…
Especially amnesia, that's one of the dumbest and most distasteful tropes out there.
They don't have as much time in part 2, so hopefully it will have a more tight plot without dancing so much around the issues like in part 1. Practically none of the plot lines were resolved there, just hype, hype, hype...
They've a lot to cover: -Naksu and Bu-Yeon separation; -Bu-Yeon's fate - death or return of Bu-Yeon to Jin clan; -Uk's destiny as King's Star; -the ice stone's fate; -CP's fate - generous king or his whole family dethroned for dumbassery; -Jin Mu needs to F**KING DIE already; -Park Jin and maidservant Kim's ship resolution; -Naksu and Uk's ship resolution; -Dang Gu and Cho Yeon gotta get married; -So-i and Yul's worm problem; -etc.
So there's no time for any of that tropey shit. But I bet Hong sisters will still try to squeeze some dumb tropes in there to waste our time, they especially just can't help themselves with polygonal ships.
Is it because of the curse that JBY can’t protect Naksu’s soul?Soul ejectors were cursed by Shaman Choi &…
JBY's body was able to protect Naksu from running while by blocking her soul's powers from the inside. But Jin Mu applied much of his own powers and forced them out from the outside. For some reason that was too much for JBY's body to handle.
So we go back to the beginning again. Every single person in this drama will be Naksu's enemy except Uk and Yul.…
I take solace in the fact this is the classical lowest point of the story where everything is bad for the heroes and they are defeated. But it will only get better from here, there still will be a real happy ending.
Ok, the ending of part 1 wasn't as bad as I presumed. Yes, it was shocking, but in the long run it actually needed to happen for Bu-Yeon and Naksu to get a real happy ending without worrying about running wild or being exposed and get their lives back as themselves, not as fake personas. But they better tie all the loose ends and finally kill that m***erf**ker Jin Mu in part 2! And GYJ better deliver, she's got some big shoes to fill in now, because JSM was stellar as Naksu.
Yul & Naksu had a beautiful closure already, leave it at that please, next season is only 10 episodes, let leave…
Yea, Naksu needs to come into the forefront already. She's been shoved into sidelines for too long. I didn't particularly like how in the end she was domesticated and content with her life as a powerless servant/housewife. I'm not saying she should return as a ruthless assassin, but as a woman with power that demands respect.
I couldn't disagree more. She completely lost the purpose of the story and characters. Analysed the surface of…
Yea, that review was eloquent, but something felt off and that score was too harsh. But then again, it's a personal opinion. Not gonna argue about it.
Even with all its shortcomings I gave it an 8.5. I've given only two dramas aside from AoS same rating or above this year, so it's one of the best of 2022 for me. Still a very good drama and definitely better overall and much deeper than overhyped EAW. I hope part 2 will not diminish in quality.
Yea, he's not really a good guy, never was. Petty, jealous, insecure. He's responisble for Jin Mu's last stunt…
I dunno, I've only seen him do something good if it was for FL, or when FL calmed him down with her fake groveling. But he finally caught on she was mocking him with this in the final episode and got really threatening/showed his ugly petty side.
I think UK is dead, and because of stone he came back to finish, what unfinished. JSM will have a cameo with Uk,…
I doubt it, sounds very implausible, lol. Bu-Yeon also was supposed to be dead, but she still lives - ice stone, baby! Also, why is it impossible for new girl if she's still Naksu? Uk and Naksu love each other, no matter in which body. And she clearly rejected Yul, he's got nothing to catch there anymore.

Reminds me of Mad for Each Other with this format.
