Yea, he's not really a good guy, never was. Petty, jealous, insecure. He's responisble for Jin Mu's last stunt because of these qualities. And his conflict with Uk may exacerbate in part 2 if he gets wind of Uk being late king's son with that box Jang Kang left in his house. No way to tell how his character will develop in part 2.

In the long run, something like this (maybe not as gory) had to happen for both girls to have a happy ending. Otherwise it would have been unfair to Bu-Yeon, who not only is yet to be introduced properly as a character, but is an innocent victim of this whole mess. So no happy ending for Naksu just yet, if it's at the expense of another character's life.

They need to get separated in part 2. For Bu-Yeon to get her life and body back, and finally return to Jin clan to get that long "lost daughter" plot a resolution. And for Naksu to stop living in constant fear of turning wild, to finally clear her name and take revenge on Jin Mu for what he did to her and her father.

If it will happen that way and both girls will live in part 2, I'd be happy.

No idea, but she'll have big shoes to fill now. JSM was stellar.

They didn't get married and since papa Jin had some poetic justice done to him, Cho Yeon will have to probably mourn him for some time before attempting it again. She and mama Jin were already wearing mourning robes at the end.

Most likely the plot required it.

He's well written here already, I very solid antagonist you love to hate and his actor does a very fine job. However, the other characters are dumbed down and written badly when around him. Still, I wouldn't watch this if he was the one who'd win in the end. I hope Naksu will take her revenge and gut him like a pig in part 2 for what he did.

I don't think so. Unless she'll have the dreaded amnesia, she'll be the same old Naksu. It's gonna be a short story with many loose ends to close. Not enough time to start the character from scratch. She gotta remember everything though to finally clear her name and take revenge for what Jin Mu did to her and her father. And also, to remember Uk to reunite with him.

Ok, but if he were the real hero of this story I wouldn't be watching it, lol. I don't like stories where villains win.

GYJ's voice sounds very similar to JSM. No wonder I couldn't tell who's voicing Naksu's thoughts, while the guys were telling it's GYJ.

If there were no part 2 he would have been arrested in ep19, like he should have been, if only everyone else didn't turn a blind eye for some reason on his escape.

He's just mad and won't play nice anymore. He's very smart and he trusts Naksu, I'm sure he'll start investigating what really happend asap in part 2 and will look for Naksu.

He's clearly a writer selfinsert. But I don't like that he doesn't do anything to help beat the bad guys.

He gets away all the time because everyone else selectively becomes very dumb to allow him this.

Yea, tabloids said that GYJ will be the FL in part 2, but JSM can still play Bu-Yeon as a guest or support character, no? Especially considering that ending.

Ugh, plz no amnesia plots in this one, they're absolutely distasteful most of the time.
And why would they introduce a blank slate/completely new character in short part 2 is beyond me, tbh. Naksu has to remember Uk and her past deeds to take revenge on that snake Jin Mu for setting her up so horrendously .
