Here's an alternative theory for you, guys, how Naksu will return into her body that doesn't involve any crazy divine intervention shenanigans: Jin Mu now knows Naksu is alive, he used her in Bu-Yeon's body to sneak into Songrim and assassinate people for him in a surprise attack and then he ordered her to go to the lake and die. Those women may as well be his minions, not mama Jin's servants, who will fish her out of the lake. They were suspiciously fast to get there considering she didn't even reach the bottom, as if they were waiting for her. Alternatively, his minions will intercept these women. Then the rest is the same as with the old theory - he got her real body on ice somewhere and will simply use a soul ejector to move her soul to her og body so that she'd continue to serve him. By force with the magical bells, if needed. And then she'll escape somehow. This, however doesn't give any justice to Bu-Yeon, or solve Naksu's soul shifter problem, considering how Jang Kang was still one even in his own body.
It’s not about it ending in tragedy, it’s about this plot twist that just didn’t work with the majority of the audience. It’s a very hard sell. I’m not sure they’ll be able to dig themselves out of this hole in part 2.
Well, that’s your opinion. But I think where they’re going with this plot looks like a big mistake made without much regard of whether it will work or not with the audience. Gotta wonder whether they even did test screenings.

I don’t think they’ll go amnesia route. But they may tangle everything up again with girls souls. Who will really occupy Naksu’s body now is unclear with these news. The biggest bs would be just getting rid of Bu-Yeon without resolution though. And how her body is less salvageable than ash that is Naksu’s body is beyond me.

It's gonna be a plot hole then because Bu-Yeon's soul makes the body blind, which she wasn't in the preview. But may be possible if they fuse the souls.

One point worth mentioning is that Bu-Yeon's soul makes the body blind. If it was her in the preview, she'd be blind as well, but she clearly is not. Still, if it's just Naksu and Bu-Yeon simply done dirty and ditched for good I'm gonna riot, I'm already preparing to sharpen my pitchfork 👿 None of it sounds good.

Yea, that "should" doesn't look good, tbh. But I think they probably had the first draft for one season but decided early to extend it. That's why there's so much filler in part 1, especially in later half. I think if it was one season Naksu may have simply returned at the very end into her og body and that would have been the end. Still lame though, no matter how you put it.
