Will they keep the lead couple? And the four, count'em, four WLW couples which must be the reason it attracted…
If they don’t intend to keep the existing WLW couples the worst they could do is replace them with new male characters. That would alienate the webtoons established fandom fast. I think, other than keeping the canon couples, the best bet is to at least keep the romantic aspect of the relationships subtextual (but heavy subtext not blink & you miss it).
But I want to be optimistic because Taeri is attached & if you got Taeri then you gotta just go for it lol.
This was so adorable, I was smiling the entire time. It was like a fanfic come to life lol. It would've been so great if this had been a series, I'd be happy with one of those 2-3min episode dramas.
The actresses were really good, beautiful, and had excellent chemistry. I hope to see them lead another story together.
I hope there is no romance in this… I like horror or dark thrillers to have no romance. Example village secret…
Of the two dramas I've watched from the writer neither have had any romance (Kingdom and Signal). That's not to say there hasn’t been some romantic undertones but it’s light (Signal). The type that really helps to sell two characters chemistry/dynamic but not overbearing or that detracts/overshadows the main story.
I don’t know if Taeri and Oh Jung Se would have any romantic chemistry anyway.
At first glance it seemed interesting with the impulse control disorder which quickly turned out to be a very…
Kyung Hye's disorder didn't disappear so much as they were side effects from the dozens of drugs Dr. Kim had her on. Her grandfather mentions in an early episode that KH always had some emotional/psychological issues but they were never as bad as they became once she got married (because we know her husband and the doctor were gaslighting and intentionally driving her insane). I think KH did have some mental health issues but a lot of what we saw, in the beginning, was due to the medication they were giving her. She had severe abandonment issues which (imo) resulted in a lot of her possessive behavior in regard to the people and things she valued, and she definitely suffered from anxiety.
I agree pacing was a bit of an issue, especially in the latter half of the drama, but most of all it suffered from a lot of filler stories. The writer kept coming up with unnecessary company drama, new ways for KH to be manipulated by the villains, and a boring love story for the elder sister of SeYeon's family in order to stretch out the story. SeYeon's romantic storyline was also unnecessary, I agree it felt obligatory & bland. I would have preffered to get better development between KH and her half-sister, or even something more with KH and Kkotnim that didn't involve KH trying to manipulate her. What's worst is that the extended drama and romantic plot kept the two leads from interacting for too long. Instead of more main characters, I'd say it needed way fewer episodes (I'd at least cut it by half) but I liked the story because it was a character-driven story rather than plot. The lowest rating I'd give this drama is a 7.
MMM management, KTR’s agency, is taking part in production so most likely she is confirmed to be playing the…
I still don't understand the difference. Unless GL is just used as a replacement for "romance" which is seen as straight by default. So not marketing itself as GL is like saying Mr. Sunshine isn’t a romance even though the love story is important to the plot.

That's official art by the webtoon artist
Revenant means "a person who has returned, especially supposedly from the dead".
And it sounds cooler lol

I'm very curious to see who they cast to play BuYoung, JN's fan/friend/love interest.
And yet Kim MinHee is still blacklisted just for a cheating scandal.

I'm thinking between 16-20. Hopefully not 12 or less. I want to enjoy Taeri on screen lol.
