As soon as saw I the new character I was like don't f*ck this up. We are 8 episodes in out of 12, and don't create unnecessary drama and suddenly the entire genre is changed Former FL is green tea villain (which I suspected from the start as these types of stories go; saw the same happen in a CDrama) cause if the FL changes so does the villain. I wish she could become the fl bestie and we could see a couple pairing. But then the king and prince are plotting Is this still a rom-com?

I have been sitting on this drama. I wanted to watch it because of all the funny scenes I happened to come across on social media, but medical dramas are not my cup of tea.
I find it hard to watch medical dramas; the only one I enjoyed was Dr. Romantic, so I thought, let's give this a try. I'm happy I did that. It is very well balanced, it is not major serious, or completely light and comedy-based, but right in the middle, and the ost 🤌🏻 also the entire ensemble of the cast is mindblowing.
i’m seeing some ppl get mad that a ROMCOM actually contains COMEDY… like what exactly were you expecting??…
Also, ROMCOM means ROMance COMedy. That's the genre. What do you expect it to be, a melodrama? People have unnecessary things to criticize. I watched the first episode and binged on all the available episodes; that's how much I'm enjoying this.
omg I'm so happy he is a promising actor i hope he get big in c drama industry. he is actually working on his craft and you can see that with each of his drama passing
NGL, these days, Chinese vertical dramas are changing positively, and thank God for MDL to have such an actor profile here. One of those amazing shows was this one.

Of course not, you interpretation didn't spoiled my experience instead I found it intriguing to look at a different perspective. I too have watched hidden love when it was airing 1-2 episode at a time and since then I, yes, last week was on 12th re-watch. It is very comforting without the typical ceo innocent girl storyline. And do understand why it was hard for you to connect with TFF and initially for me it was the same. But, Since I'm opposite of you who love modern drama more than historical or costume drama (i genuinely don't know the right terminology and the only one I watch was Alchemy of soul) i always give such drama more chance and I am glad I did. I am enjoying how the story is unfolding. And yes since Sang zhi and Duan Jaixu are guest roles in this drama so they have minimal scene special Sang Zhi cause Duan Jaixu is present or mentioned every other episode. And the drama is providing great homage to hidden love also connecting the storyline into one universe so I'm very much enjoying it.
But again if you didn't connect or didn't liked it, I'm not a person who will form a opinion against you or force you to watch. But I'm happy that you wrote back to me providing a different perspective. Thank you! 😊
Professor yeom is a person who just like to be in power or to say know it all guy. He doesn't like when someone else tells him what to do. Like when the doc says it restricted visitation form now. Thank you for writing back. I understand those lines are flat and see what you meant by that. Next the timeline you said why Sang zhi wasn't ignoring DJX, its before that. It clearly says that SZ is in 11 th grade and next year she will be preparing for college entrance, as in later episodes (since you dropped you didn't saw) she was discussing with yifan about yihe university as yifan went to Yihe that the time SZ in TFF didn't mentioned DJX at all. Also maybe I saw those expression same cause I was far more into the episode when I asked that question and now being on ep 26 I still feel the same. There are plenty of episodes where BJT is comedic but again I understand and agree that since BJT is ml here he is more serious. While his scene at his parents home on CNY was more comic although not that loud.
Zhang RuoNan drunk acting is always the cutest. I saw a reel of her drunk acting in "My Boss" and I watched that show without any context. Then here again, OMG! she is the cutest 😍😍.
