Still highly unlikely, but at least a season 2 would confirm that Iljimae is alive and that there is hope for his romance with Eun Chae. I feel that Bong Soon actress should be back as well if they make a season 2 I find her so pitiful.

I love the soundtrack too. Especially Lonely Footsteps, Maehwa, and Flower Letters.

If you really enjoy the show, you won't even notice the episodes, you keep wanting for more. TThere are many stories to tell and the characters are complicated too, need a lot of episodes to know them better and see their growth/downfall.

Remove Song Hye Kyo from this list. No hate on her, but I know she's not from any 2020 drama. Sorry if I fail to mention other actresses on this list that are not on 2020 dramas, I'm just not sure whether the others in this list have 2020 dramas or not, I just know that Song Hye Kyo didnt.

Her role in Good Doctor is not as meaty as her role in Princess Man or even Flower of Evil, watch those two shows to see her best acting.

Watch Princess Man or Flower of Evil or even Painter of the Wind, actress Moon Chae Won is also a capable actor and can show great chemistry with her costars. I understand why you don't see the chemistry here though, because MCW and PSY have equal screentime. Agree on SJK though, he was really awesome in this drama.

Lee Joon Gi is so cool and handsome in this drama, amazing acting as well. His stunts are very well made done so amazing. So many good actors too in this drama: Park Shi Hoo, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Young Ah, Kim Moo Yeol, Yeo Jin Goo, Kim Yoo Jung, Jung Da Bin, Lee David, Noh Young Hak (underrated actor), Jo Min Ki, Ahn Kil Kang, Lee Moon Shik, etc.

I am enjoying it right now. The fight scenes are amazing. Lee Joon Gi action skills so good. Park Shi Hoo is also good, but Lee Joon Gi can fly. The cast is amazing. I even like seeing Ahn Kil Kang and Lee Moon Shik from Queen Seon Deok <3.

I agree so much on your opinions (even though the actresses in the article are not necessarily my faves). I especially agree that good acting can be very subjective.

Totally. Though, I believe she was good in Innocent Man, I felt like there was not one, but two female leads there (because of almost equal screentime to Park Shi Yeon). I sometimes get annoyed when people say MCW is not a great actress based on what they've seen in Innocent Man or Good Doctor. But they dont watch sageuks, they haven't seen this one. In this one, you can never doubt she was a great actress (most especially the way she cried when one of the guards/sageuk police struck Kim Seung Yoo to the ground.

Many people shipped her with SJK before his DOTS era. As we all know, SJK was married and divorced. After his divorced, he got a lot of hate from his ex wife fans. I'm sure MCW will get hate too if she gets paired with SJK again because people will assume things (based on what happened on SJK's life, I just dont want to be specific here).

Thanks for bringing them up, I just noticed that Chun Ho Jin was nominated in Baeksang, but not in APAN. I just hope you're right. But I'm already prepared, even if MCW gets nominated it's unlikely she'll get the award. (I'm just so sad that she's underrated). I read some reviews that some people don't like the female lead even if they like LJG performance. And I stand by my opinion that the leading lady from the other recently finished popular show will get more awards, since she's been getting awards in the recent months already (not that I don't think she's talented, I just really want MCW to get recognized too, especially after 4-5 years of forgettable dramas). So I'm just gonna hope LJG at leastgets baeksang award since he so deserves it.
Anyway, I hope I'm wrong and that MCW gets nominated (and have the faintest hope that she WILL WIN baeksang). Thanks :)
